The street sandwich called "lomito": The idea is that they prepare it quickly, that it is cheap because it is fast food. You're supposed to eat there on your work break. Don't expect a great flavor, it will be good but not like in a restaurant. We have "bodegons" there you wil get a lot of food, can be "cheap" or expensive it depends. Some of them offers all you can eat, so ask. (La Bistecca in Puerto Madero its cheap, all you can eat, is not a bodegon but it works like one of them) Finally you have "gourmet" food, personally i hate it because you will experiment good flavors but not a large amount of food. I feel scammed in those places, but there are people who like that experience. Thats Buenos Aires, you will enjoy Bariloche if you like cold weather and snow (you can do snowboard or ski but it is expensive af). Do you want wines? go to Mendoza, there are wines tours.
Just an advice if you come to Argentina don't go for the tourist places to eat, just ask the local people what is the best place to eat and you will get the best and most authentic experience for what you pay.

@themangledangle1760 You’re totally right. It’s neat to see how cuisine evolves over time. I know we like to call things “fusion cuisine,” but everything is fusion cuisine nowadays post-globalization. The Old World didn’t even have tomatoes or peppers until after the Columbian Exchange. Culinary history is neat.
Rolled meat is the true cinnamon bun! I love taking Pork loin, beating the heck out of it until its THIN, coating one side with whatever im in the mood for, rolling it up tight, tieing it off and smoking or broiling until done. I've tried it all but my favorite is just minced mushrooms, basil, rosemary, thyme, sage, paprika, garlic, and salt n pepper. tastes just like a sweet Italian sausage.
I have to agree on the hotdog, I'll be very surprised if you can find somewhere else in the world a better one than the ones from Santiago... however, the grills in Argentina are awesome! Love the parrilla culture
Yes. It's actually a common thing for travel channels to post a long video of all the places they've went to when they've visited a country. This video may be old but it isn't necessarily a re-upload.
He has done this multiple times, this is the second channel that will often use long splices of the other videos to feature a specific theme, like "the craziest fair foods" are multiple of the episodes of him visiting fairs stitched together.
