@@gabrielsoloman5000 it was a break up. they stated they might look for another singer because they parted ways with the vocalist. no bad blood from what i understand just musical differences but still they arent even 40 i dont think so thats a pretty early retirement.
I'd just really like to know what those creative differences were. The only controversial line I can think of ever by the vocalist is they had that one line "I'm gonna buy a gun and be offended" which could be a nod at the fact that Australians can't buy guns and maybe it's a jab at American life. But either way I mean when you look at the Kingdom album it's entirely about a concept story of some assassin and a king (idk they're lyrics are very ambiguous). Nothing controversial. I'm just trying to fit the pieces together and don't know where to even begin
I just found these guys 2 months ago. I have listened to 8 songs and now I wake up every day with Twelve Foot Ninja playing in my brain. These guys are tip top!
Twelve Foot Ninja’s music has been a part of my life since 2012. TFN’s music has been a part of my son’s life since, as well. And of my cousin’s. We have become a tight-nit unit of rock lovers that has grown in music appreciation, in part, thanks to the Ninja’s mighty albums. We mourned Damon’s parting. And now, we mourn the final days of this amazing outfit. Some matches are just too virtuous, and you fellas are among them. Everything about your music is amazing: outstanding players, excellent compositions, soaring melodies, tasteful production, brimming energy, fun and well-thought lyrics, an engaging concept - just pure talent. Brothers: this is your dominion. You have embraced and loved your kingdom, and your kingdom has loved you back. Now the Ninja has hung up the sword and walks off into the sunset. All we can do is mourn and rejoice. And rejoice we will, with your tunes blaring from our stereos until the end of time. My only regret: We didn’t get to see you live, here in the South, in Chile, in South America. But know your music has reached all around the world. And will continue to do so. Thanks lads. From the depth of our souls. TFN lives! TFN rules!
thank you blokes so much for these tasty treats! its wonderful to get "just a bit more", and it really shows how much you appreciate your fans. legends!
Easily my favorite genre-warping band. These guys can really do anything, mix any styles and make it work. I hope whatever they do in the future, collectively or individually, it's with as much gusto and imagination as Twelve Foot Ninja.
I hope this made you guys realize how much potential there still is in this band. You guys are one of a kind, thank you so much for releasing everything you've released. I will play it for the rest of my life! Wouldve loved to keep getting older to some twelve foot ninja. Hope theres still a chance. Thanks gentlemen, stay busy.
One of the best bands EVER and I mean that truly. Grateful to have even been alive during this bands existence. The hype for each new release was exciting and I feel for those that missed out or will never discover this band!
Gutted you blokes called it a day. Amazingly talented band. Your music is sublime, unique, and emotive. Your music videos the work of creative geniuses. The best thing is we got to experience it all. Enjoy the next chapter fellas, and thank you! Stay busy.
Serai tellement heureux de vous voir à nouveau écrire et jouer ensemble car vous avez un style et un potentiel unique!!! Mon vœux au père Noël cette année, votre reformation 😉😉
Fantastic. Thank you all for the years of amazing music and laughs. Much success on where ever your paths take you. Though, quite selfishly, I hope those paths lead you back to TFN at some point :).
It is awesome to see all these old recordings, behind the scenes and additional footage videos. I would strongly prefer the whole band getting back together.
I've listened to TFN since just after the last time they were in Audio IIRC in Glasgow years ago (i missed them by a week!!! fs just my luck missing them!) and its been a joy hearing everything they've released. Got many folks into them, and made a couple great friends by bonding over our shared love of TFN. Was so sad when I seen they were stopping, but happy to see it seems to be on good terms. Great to see these videos pop up and hope the band folks look back on them fondly. TFN GOAT'D!! If you ever return you'll be welcomed back with open arms!!
So glad I got to see you guys when you came over to London. This video has me remembering the immortal words of Lloyd Christmas, 'So, you're saying there's a chance'
Musically, one of the most inspiring bands for me to listen to. Been a fan for years and I'm deeply saddened by the fact I will never have the chance to witness you guys live. The new acoustic release was great by the way, always loved that stuff from you guys. I know getting new music is probably never gonna happen, but if you have some old stuff laying around that never made the cut to any album I would love to hear that stuff.
Hey fellas, I just received my LP in the post today and it's a thing of beauty! I want to thank you for everything you all created together. You have enriched my life with the amazing music and exceptional performances you've put on and I can't thank you enough. The squeeze may not be worth the juice, but thanks for squeezing so hard and so long. I truly love your work! Sincerely, A grateful fan
You guys were just as good as disturbed when you played in brisbane supporting them. I still to this day have the outlier shirt from that tour. You are a seminal and important part of Australian music and I hope and wish you guys all the best. And if you'd all get back together in time I wish and hope it happens naturally and we get some more music from yous. You are and will be missed. Thank you for being a band and giving me brilliant TFN related memories I still think about 10 years later. You are and always will be awesome ❤
Just an average guy from Mississippi, USA. I am so fortunate to have discovered this band years ago. What a blessing. If they only knew how much joy their music has brought to my life. Thank you, guys!
Glad I got the opportunity to see these guys live in Christchurch, New Zealand a few years ago. Thanks fellas, you got me through so many work commutes. The people in the car next to me might have been a bit shocked tho.
I know yall dont know me but thanks for helping me get through high school, losing most of my friends, and when my mom was going through cancer treatments and recovery, along with getting through college as well. Dont mean to be long winded or sad but i just wanna thank yall for having such a positive impact on my life. Ill miss the band but hope you never stop making music. Also special thank you to Ro, whose acoustic covers of songs helped me pass several classes. Anyway, love yall - from america :)
Sad that you guys broke up but glad we still have all the amazing music you wrote. Your stuff has constantly been in my rotation since I found you guys in 2012 and it will always be until I am 6 feet under.
Thanks for this bittersweet ending, massively enjoyed the acoustic album! Best of luck to all of you and your new ventures, cant wait to see what you all cook up 🔥
So glad I managed to see you live on your Outlier tour! Was one of the best gigs I've ever been to, partly because I got to meet you crazy dudes! 😁 It'd be great if you guys manage to stay together and make more music, definitely the best obscure band out there
My musical life drastically improved when my friend introduced me to you crazy guys. Your music is the highlight of most of my days!!!! I love your energy and sound, I hope you guys find it in you to keep going...not just for the fans but for you.
Gutted you guys have to call it, but holy shit do you guys leave such an amazing catalog to live on. I’ll never forget seeing you guys live in the US, one of my all time favorite shows. Much love and best wishes you sexy tall ass ninjas

I don't think Ro got enough credit for his vocal contribution to the band. What a talent
Ro is one of the most underrated musicians in existence - imo
Yeah, their harmonies are SO good.
Truth
You should hear his band before T.F.N.

I'm glad I got to see them live a while back. They were opening for Periphery and I hadn't heard of them before then, but I immediately loved them.
How can this be so good, even in acoustic its awesome!
