Twelve Foot Ninja are often classified as heavy fusion or progressive metal but whatever genre you call them, they are known for their unique combination of genre hopping and soaring melodies over heavy rock. Twelve Foot Ninja have sold out shows across their home country Australia, were the winners of BEST NEW TALENT in the US at the Golden Gods Awards in 2014, have over 8 million UA-cam views and attracted public praise from the likes of Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater/Avenged Sevenfold), Dino Cazares (Fear Factory) and Jose Mangin (Sirius XM).
Twelve Foot Ninja's debut album SILENT MACHINE debuted at #4 on Australia’s AIR Chart followed by a trail-blazing national headline tour of Australia, rave reviews for both their debut album and live shows.
Their second album OUTLIER debuted at #1 on Australia's AIR chart, #6 on the official ARIA album chart, #3 on the US Heatseeker chart, and #15 on the Hard Rock album chart. The album received rave reviews and further solidified the band's rabid fanbase. OUTLIER was nominated for Best Hard Rock Album at the 2016 ARIA Awards.
Twelve Foot Ninja are carving their own path and a swarm of fervent fans are joining the ride. To be fair, the Shaker provides an ambience that the bass guitar wouldn't of at the time for the song. So, most enjoyable none the less!

@@bloodyoneiric9641 12 foot ninja is better than most djent bands. Every djent band has some cliche melodic tapping or slow ambient riff while the other 8 string chugs on 1 and 0. These guys got innovative and created a wholw style

Fucking awesome!!! This band is a breath of fresh air in metal! Which is stuck with the same production approaches and been stale for at least 10 years imo. These guys are pure genius!
DimeStuff that's what was said about faith no more when they hit, it was pure genius and still are, but this band is great no doubt, hope San Diego, ca is in their plans when they tour, funny Metallica carried FTM on there tour, they got booed off stage til they played warpigs
Not sure what you mean about stagnant production approaches, there's plenty of unique metal out there, it only takes a little curiousity and some time on Spotify or bandcamp

Outlier was one of the best albums of 2016, and it went waaay under the radar. It was fucking stellar. My favorite work from the boys by far!

Without any walls around there's nothing for the sound to bounce off and to turn it to mush. If wind noise can be avoided, outside is the best place for sound.

Saw (and heard) this one a year ago. I still listen to it all the time... What a band and what an performance. Saw them live, when they were at Finland. Shaked hands with the singer and changed a few words with him. This band (still) needs more recognition, though they are on the rise, I believe. Fantastic stuff!
P.S. Also, shame for the host... That could have gone better! ;D
