Cersei didn't just imprison Marg because of jealousy, but because she knows she's a great manipulator and wants power. The reason why Cersei is so passionate about her kids being kings is because she can have the power and be the true ruler through her children by manipulating them. Margaery is doing the same to Tommen and possibly better than Cersei so she's a threat.
The only difference between the two is that unlike Cersei, Margaery would be a fantastic Queen for Tommen. Manipulative yes but not at all cruel or even a murderer.
Cersei on the other hand only wants to turn Tommen into another Joffrey, but we all know what happened to him.

@@garlantyrell6368 yeah. One sign that it's not about jealousy is the fact that Cersei never hated Sansa like she does Marge. She even had empathy for her until Joffrey died and she started suspecting whether she was involved. And that's because she didn't see Sansa as power hungry or being able to manipulate Joffrey successfully. Cersei knew she'd just be Joffrey's punching bag.
The definition of jealous derives from being afraid something you believe to be yours will be taken away from you. It is exactly jealousy.
@@miss_conduct.exactly sansa wasn't a threat to her. With marg and cersei they both see through each other's bs and they go at each other's throats. To me cersei is the worst thing that happened to her kids, if joffrey was disciplined he'd focus on playing politics instead of being impulsive and tommen is nice but he's a pushover with no backbone. Her daughter seems to be sane because she was away from her.

The first time I watched I didn't pay much attention to it. After a rewatch, it changed XD. I heard that a new GoT show was on the making, whose characters are Aegon AKA Egg and Dunkan AKA Dunk. So Egg instantly clicked and now I'm excited.

In the books, Valyrian Steel is also called "dragonsteel" because all of it was made with magic in Old Valyria. That's why it can kill wights and white walkers.
Also, Jorah had literal years to come clean to Daenerys, and the only reason she found out was because Ser Barriston got the note before he did. I don't believe for one minute Jorah would have told her otherwise.

I'm not sure if Jon and Dany will be a thing in the books too but if they do it will be very shortlived because there's just no way that Dany survives this series as much as i want her to. And if she dies Jon would need a nice partner to settle down with after the battle is done.

I definitely understand being mad at theon but you have to understand how broken and scared he is at this point. His reaction and response is very realistic from a psychological standpoint. Ramsay played so many mind games on him and made him believe that no matter what he does he will be found out and that telling ramsay the truth about everything is the only way, even if he doesn't want to. He believes sansa will never be able to escape same as him and that if she tries she won't be able to and things will get worse for her just like it happened to him. It's hard for theon to break out of it immediately now, it'll have to take a few tries for him to get his mental strength back if we're being realistic about the abuse and mental issues he went through. Definitely feel the frustration and anger for sansa though💔
Thank you. I watch so many reactions yelling at Theon and dissing him, etc. Unless you have been in his shoes, or anyone's that has dealt with what he has, you will never understand. Breaking someone psychologically is far worse than physically. I wish more people REALIZED this.
Yh it’s actually really sad on my first watch I didn’t really take much of Theon but with rewatches what he’s had done to him and his story is tragic as I saw sone where that even if he didn’t betray rob he may of ended in a similar situation where he would of been at the red wedding and either die or been captured
I love Sansa so much & these episodes are beyond heartbreaking & frustrating 😭😭 However i do think it’s hard to understand that the type of mental & physical trauma that Theon had to endure. He has been brainwashed to think he is reek on a molecular level...
Yes!! The amount of pure torture, physically and mentally, that Ramsey has put him through, we can't even imagine the pain. He tried to escape, and he saw what Ramsey did to him. What would Ramsey do to Sansa if she managed to get word out to someone that she's being mistreated (which makes Ramsey look bad)? What would Ramsey do to Theon if he found out that she was trying to escape and Theon didn't tell him? And then hurt Sansa even more because he knows that will hurt Theon as well since Theon does really care for Sansa? Theon is 1000% in survival mode, trying to stay alive and keep Sansa alive.
People talk about all the things that Theon did, let's look at that. He was a jerk? Yeah, he was a bratty teenager who knew that deep down he was just a prisoner, a hostage to keep his father in line. He's entitled to be a bit of a jerk even if he shouldn't have been a jerk to nice people. He betrayed Robb? Meh, it didn't get Robb killed, Greyjoy would've done what he did no matter what Theon said, or even if Theon had stayed by Robb's side. Theon didn't control his father's actions. Behead Ser Roderick? Yes. But. The first mate guy egged him on, fired up his bloodlust, and then TOLD him he had to do it. Theon didn't want to, and you can see the regret on his face afterwards. The two farmboys? He didn't actually kill them himself, that stupid first mate guy did it. Told Theon it had to be done and did it himself, probably because he knew Theon wouldn't be able to. Theon didn't strike the killing blows. But he knows he allowed it, and I think that's why he's let himself become Reek so hard. He knows it was wrong to kill those boys, even if he let first mate douche do it for him, and he now feels that between that and the other stuff, he deserves everything that Ramsey has done to him. That he deserves to be Reek. Which makes him all the more determined to not attempt escape.

Sansa & Ramsay’s wedding is one of the most difficult episodes to watch! But watching Cersei’s plan to take out the Tyrells backfire on her is my fav!! She was so stupid & short sighted not to see they were her biggest allies! Can’t wait for the next 2!
Littlefingers gift for Cersei was the brothel boy who slept with Loras and grassed him up, leading to Loras and Margaery being imprisoned.
His gift for Olenna was Lancel Lannister, which led to Cersei being imprisoned.

The year or so they traveled together from when they met to now. He had her ear, it wasn't as if there was no way for him to ask to speak with her in private. He may have been afraid of punishment, but delaying telling the truth only worsens the reaction - in EVERY situation, personal, relationship, professional, political, etc.

Just to clarify: Dany’s not mad at Jorah for reporting her movements to King’s Landing, Jorah was the person who told the small council she was pregnant with Drogo’s child, causing them to send people to literally murder Dany and her baby. That’s why Jorah stopped the poisoner. He received a letter that there would be attempts on her life. And even though he stopped his spying he continued to hide that truth from her after all they’d been through because he wants her to love him. If I were Dany I’d be pissed too

i kinda hate how everyone passes over that theon DID kill 2 children... like just because it wasnt bran and rickon doesnt make it okay. They were just two lads living on their farm then literally got strung up and burned alive, they had nothing to do with it and got caught in the crossfire :(

He didn't. His first mate told him it had to be done and then did it himself, probably because he knew Theon wouldn't be able to. Yes, Theon allowed it to happen, but he didn't do it himself. Still blames himself though, which is probably one of the reasons why he's allowed himself to become Reek so hard, he thinks he deserves everything Ramsey has done to him.
Also, I don't think they were burned alive, I think their throats were cut first. They were only burned so nobody would know they weren't the Stark boys.

These last few episodes of season 5 are so good. That fight sequence with the white walkers "whities" lol had me on the edge of my seat. love Jon Snow so much, he is always ready to sacrifice himself for others and protect them, he's so brave. Seeing Cersei locked up brought me so much joy, finally a taste of her own medicine. Poor Sansa she can never catch a break. I know it's frustrating but I can't be totally mad at Theon because he know what Ramsey is capable of doing. He knows it will be much, much worse for her if he found her trying to escape. He's been on the other end of Ramsey's wrath and psychopathic ways for a long time. Theon is just beyond traumatized and brainwashed, he is Reek but you can still see he wants to help Sansa. When he finally told her about Bran and Rickon I was so happy because maybe she can forgive him. Can't wait for your next reaction. I love Game of Thrones!

Littlefinger actually offered Robyn and Knights of the Vale to Olenna, as he did to Cersei in previous episode but he had nothing to do with Cersei's imprisonment...

What? She never has the knights of the Vale. Cersei needed leverage, it's why she called Littlefinger to King's Landing. He gave her the guy that Loras was sleeping with when Margery walked in on them (who was also a seggs worker in Littlefinger's brothel). I don't think he had a choice if he wanted to keep all his little games going and not have Cersei in his business. So he then willingly gave Olenna Lancel so she could get Cersei. Listen to the dialogue.
I get folks getting annoyed with Theon, but it feels as if people are NOT realizing how broken that man is psychologically. Unless you have been in his shoes, which I was for 13 years, breaking the hold of someone such as Ramsey is NOT easy. I love your reactions regardless. Still, see things from HIS point of view. Both him and Sansa are stuck and royally screwed. If folks can sympathize with Dany concerning all she does, people can do the same with Theon.
Dragon glass and Valerian steel (Jon's sword) work against white walkers because both are made with dragon fire. Regular fire works against some zombie wights, but dragon fire is the hottest and a very special kind of fire that works against these like more powerful white walkers that Jon was fighting.

I am far more sympathetic and understanding to Theon after reading the books. It did not describe the torture in writing, more so the after effects of said torture. As for said effects, the show showed just a smidge of what Theon truly experienced in his time as Ramsay's pet.

Valyrian steel is forged from dragon breath, which is a similar idea to the dragon glass. Which is why it’s so so cool that the dragons are back and so important that they’ll be there. If it comes down to a fight, Daenerys is slaying.

Valyrian steel was made by the Valyrians, aka the dragonriders the Targaryens are descended from. We don’t know exactly how it’s created since that info has been lost to time but it can be reforged like we saw Tywin do with Ice. We know there’s probably some blood sacrifice involved and it’s sometimes called “dragon-forged” so dragons might have something to do with it. Basically the White Walkers are ice and winter and the Valyrian dragonriders are fire and summer, and fire beats ice and winter makes way for summer
