I feel for the person asking about aiming when getting into Jets. I've grinded all the way to the Lim-5P with Germ and I'm just too bad to deal with learning high speed dogfighting and dodging missiles at the same time. I defiantly wouldn't have made it this far without this channel so congrats on the 100k, thanks for just being real, and putting out content worth watching that's not just memes and cherry picked games.

One other way to solve the Airfield AA problem would be to individually grant every player some protection while they are repairing. And once they have repaired, they are not granted any protection for the next 5-10 minutes. J-ing out is allowed only once and the player will only have 30 seconds or he is out.

Interesting Q&A, learnt a lot about yourself and it turns out you and I have a similar story!
When I was younger I spent lots of time at airshows ect.. would go home and play IL2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey just like yourself, I remember this one night mission I simply couldnt beat (might have smashed my controller). I wanted to be a pilot for the longest time until I found out I was quite badly colourblind and then subsequently went through school with a keen interest for medicine.
Currently I'm applying for apprenticeship positions for paramedics in the UK, fingers crossed starting in April. I hope by spring time we can both be working providing emergency care.
Interestingly I too want to progress into the air ambulance service! I really enjoy the aspect of emergency critical care over managing longer term conditions or social / mental / domestic issues. So I figured air ambulances were the place to aim! (Also wanted my career to be somewhat 'flying' based ;) ).
From playing WT since 2015 you've always been my go to youtuber. I'm keen to see you grow in whatever direction you choose for your future, and will always be happy for you. Best of luck for Jan!

Your last point was so relatable for me. Im not as good as you yet, but i can hold my own. There were a number of times when i tried to give a nuanced take on something. But then either people start arguing because i didnt write "just BnZ bro" or something like i should. Because i have no credibility. Im just a random dude on the internet. So my point is, there were times when i almost started youtube just so i can go "see? i know wtf im talking about". Instead i stopped giving advice on the internet because apparently too much advice from a nobody is bad.

I think I did mention one time that I'd like to see the aircraft from Il2-1946 in war thunder. Lots of cool stuff there.
I think that you should be protected on the airfield only while you are reparing and hav like 10 secs more to take-off in jets more and that would honestly fix the issue

My personal wish for air rb would have to be ec modes
I would love to use multi role aircraft like the f16 or pure ground pounders like the su25 not while using tanks
You can do that in sim but it’s not always as fun
Maybe a hybrid where you use mouse aim and 3rd person view but no enemy markers and maps with dynamic objectives
I could see some issues with balancing however those could be adressed in one way or another

That would also help with the CAS spam in ground RB because some aircraft are either broken as CAS, or useless as a fighter...

I want an air RB mode where there’s actually 50 to 100 players but each person gets out In a bracket and maybe say every five to ten minutes or say a new bracket of players spawn, I guess time would change depending on br but this would create a long form match full of chaos but also in a way where strategy could be used rather then making it a 100 player fur ball
Motorcycle content would be so awesome, wouldn’t even have to be on this channel, a 2nd channel with just 5 minute videos or something of you ripping down the streets would be awesome

Tangential of a permanent 1v1 mode, I feel like there could be a ranked mode of the game where you're still doing the same types of matches, but your individual performance gets you to higher ranks and the possibility of cosmetic rewards, etc. I feel like there's probably a reason beyond Gaijin being lazy that this hasn't been implemented, but I feel like it would be a cool idea

A potential solution for bombers climbing to orbit for the proposed ticket bleed changes: once a team has no interaction with tickets for a certain period of time, their tickets will start to bleed down to 0 at a rate of something like 100 tickets per 30 second, or whatever amount of tickets is given from killing a single AI ground target. Obviously the period after which the tickets bleed would have to be determined after a good amount of testing, as if a bomber is the last thing alive it might not be able to reach a base if it is set too low. This would allow you to not lose on timer because the last person on the enemy team was in orbit, while still encouraging active match participation from everyone.

Congrats on 100k. I understand your take about the airfields and camping, but it is quite an L take. If your concern is truly just people camping it an abusing it, Gaijin could easily add in a private float variable that counts how long a player is within friendly airfield range and once it reaches a maximum limit it would trigger AAA to not trigger for that player anymore. That would remove camping but also still protect people who use it as intended.
But I feel like this is more of an issue of you just wanting it to be an air superiority match-up, with is becoming obsolete and will 'eventually' be replaced. Imagine if they add SAM sites in top tier air RB to help discourage players from flying 1m above the ground constantly, or flying directly into enemy airspace without first taking out the SAM's. To me, this would be a great change. But for you, I imagine it would be an atrocious change since you can't just go directly in and fight other players, now you would have to worry about getting slapped out of the air by a SAM while the player stays behind the SAM coverage.
Yet at the same time you dislike the the dueling battles since, well they are repetitive and sweaty. So I don't get what exactly you want for gameplay wise? If you only want things to be determined by team death match, than dueling would make the most sense (although I find that the least fun). Note: this is meant to come across negatively or at you, just really confused on what you are expecting from the game, especially as modern jets get added and RB shifts into an EC like mode.
Honestly I think for airfield campers you should only be on the airfield for 5 mins before it forces you out of the airfield and if you try to land back on it you get a penalty of sl or tickets. Genuinely would help prevent dragging on matches that should've ended already.

if the game changed from a grind - premium based monetization to a skin based monetization like some other f2p games out there it would be so much better but then what would you do with user made skins

I don't understand how he gets such a crazy k/d even with the most random planes. Up to a k/d of 5 I can believe but anything above that seems impossible for a solo-queue. Surely he also runs into 16v16 games where his team evaporates within 2 minutes. Does he just fly back to his airfield and leave? or does he mostly fly with a squadron.

-Defyn having a good game sense. Thus not ending up getting swarmed and dying.
-Flying a good aircraft
-Landing and bailing out if presented the option or getting chased for 25 minutes
-And ofcourse not always playing alone.
