Kevin my hero. I've played through this game in it's entirety multiple times and I always try to trigger Fanny but I can never manage to get her to discharge her gun.
For anyone thinking about buying this game because of Kev's playthroughs (like I did), you should know the music in this game is fantastic as well! It's a shame Kevin can't play it on his videos, because it's so well done. It's just a shame that your choices don't have as big an impact in the game as the game leads you to believe.
@@MANLIESTMANEVERthere's only three endings (and two of them are almost the same), but there's about 5 or 6 different ways your teen can escape at the end of each playthrough. the endgame is always the same though, which is a shame. your choices don't have much impact but it's still a fun game :)
I think the fun part of the game is more the different ways you can get to the end and not just the actual ending. I’ve played one play through till the very end with multiple kids and now I want to play again to see other parts that I missed before and to see how the characters react to me choosing different options. I also want to try to do one without any of the kids dying or getting arrested.
@@rachelcookie321 I'd just recommend playing the game for the music, characters and story, just enjoy the roadtrip and treat all that stuff as atmospheric world building. Don't go into it expecting a 'choice matters' game, just enjoy the journey - which is fitting for a road trip game. Also, fuck the black cop lady.

His character also seemed prety terrified of the taxy guy. Weirdly enough, he was way more manageable when he cross paths with him outside his taxi. I guess having to work is was triggers him.

I dont know if he forgot about it or if he simply didnt connect the dots that if you call a taxi youre probably gonna be driven by that guy. Knowing Kevin, its probably both. Hell, maybe he even did it intencionally to see what happens, like with the bus scenario.
Jarod is legitimately the scariest character in a video game, as he actually has depth but also such emotional instability. He reminds me of my BPD in many ways, just without the murder

This game is actually amazing, and seeing your unique way to play it is super fun, I like how you space these episodes out instead of playing the whole game in one go, it makes it more enjoyable.
My spouse and I just finished our first playthrough together, and it took us 11 teens to get there 😭 We felt so bad for the ones who died, lol Edit: we had one teen who didn't even have a route on the loading screen map because they were shot by Jarod right away 😅

Kevin, the icons next to the speech options mean different things: the raised fist increases Tyrak's vote, the ballot box increases Florres's vote, and the other one increases abstaining. It's just helpful to know if you're trying to achieve a certain outcome
I'm pretty sure that the raised fist is pro-revolution whereas the ballot box is pro-democracy? Like he got the fist icon when he filmed the protestor getting beaten.
