Cripes, that was a rough one! I would have struggled with all those timed missions too -- trying to do something against the clock, especially platforming, is the WORST.

The key to doing this as a kid was to find the exploit that hitting "select" resets your car to the nearest road, so at the end of every risky jump was to press select before you land and it prevents all hard impacts.
Homer: I need your chainsaw to chop off attacking zombies! Moe: But then, how will I defend myself? Homer: You can make unlimited molotovs out of your beer bottles in your bar!
Holy shit. I never in all my playthroughs clocked that the annoying barrier on the docks is a reference to the entire trees being used to make singular bowling pins. I finally feel at peace for all the times I've wrecked myself trying to get through that alley now.
this game is the first let's play i've ever watched years ago.. and for some weird reason it got me hooked on watching people play weird shit. which, in turn, somehow got me to watching Kevin. And now here we are watching Kevo play Simpsons GTA. the circle of liiiiiiife and all that
It's hilarious to me how they put stuff that would normally be a boss in other PS1 and PS2 games (the giant monster truck, the living skeleton, etc.) exclusively into cutscenes Like they _tease_ you about a boss fight, but then it's just nothing and you go right back to jank driving It's honestly super funny and I love it
i love watching you play simpsons hit n run, you should do a playthrough with all the cheats on it’s basically like chaos mode because one of my favourite cheats would make cars explode on impact and it makes some of the missions impossible to complete 😂😂
I played through this game earlier this year and I had 2 breakdowns trying that last mission even WITH CHEATS ON so i wouldn't take damage. I did it eventually though :D
Imagine: 1. A one hour long Kevin video 2. A one hour long Simpsons Hit and Run video by Kevin 3.(?) A one hour long Simpsons Hit and Run video by Kevin WITH THE CHAOS MOD

YEEEESSSS, I wanted a full playthru of this game so badly! The last time Kevin did this game a ton of it was skipped and it's an iconic game honestly. Kevin, this game was absolutely impossible as a kid and I still have a hard time beating the levels now so it's definitely us and not the game.
Me and my big brother played this for hours and hour on the PlayStation and completed 95% got to the final world where it’s all Halloween town. The save file on the PS memory card corrupted and he wouldn’t start over and I remember like it was yesterday. Those were the days.

A couple of things I want to mention about this game; 1. Someone made a mod adding the Steamed Hams skit as a mission 2. Shesez did an episode on it where he gets to talk with a member of the dev team, explaining some interesting info on the game The bit a few people are mentioning in the comments is that Matt Groening (creator of the show) has played the game, and the first thing he did was kick Marge to Kwik-e-Mart, based
Really been enjoying the game! I haven't hit any of the levelcaps pointed out in the video, but I've also been doing a lot more side stuff than the main quest. Only downside to doing that meant that I'd unlocked cool mechanics (like the beast bag, alohamora etc) a lot later.

I beat the game 100% as a kid, but man did it make me mad. That last mission and the one you had difficulties with on Apus level were sooo brutal for me as a kid. Also, you CAN fall off of that top part as a kid, I actually had to take a break of how mad that made me.
"I am evil Homer! I am evil Homer!"
That's not going to hold up in court
I've only just come across your channel and have been binging your videos as it has been the only thing that's helped me maintain any kind of composure since I've randomly been having some kind of panic attack issue and I just wanted to thank you for this content and telling you how glad I am to have found these wonderful videos.
I have fond memories of playing this game as a kid with my brothers but also PTSD from those Apu missions!
We NEVER completed this game because of the one at around 52:50 😭😭 I remember one occasion where I finally collected all the items and we all nearly cried when the mission updated to “go back to the DMV” and I had about 5 seconds on the counter 😭😭
So glad I finally get to see the end of the game and very pleased that the storyline remains as chaotic as the rest of it
snake going "chicks love it when I do this" as his car gets slowly t-boned is priceless
Its just me who wants Kevin make a entire 1 hour video playing a MDikie game?
Omg, yes. That would be beautiful
Yessss, Kevin in Hardtime or Wrestling Empire would be golden
@@VortexKiller2 or the yout testament lmao shits wild you can make your character 1ft tall lmao
Grandpa saying that he smells toast was indicative to that he may have been having a stroke, which of course is a myth. The more you know 😏
Easily one of the best games of all time imo.the amount of joy this game brought me when I was young should be illegal
Cripes, that was a rough one! I would have struggled with all those timed missions too -- trying to do something against the clock, especially platforming, is the WORST.
This was one of my most favorite games as a kid, hit and run is (and always will be) a certified hood classic.
I love just running around as homer in lvl 1 and beating up kids and stuff in this game lmfao
Really glad to see you playing it mr call me kevin! I love your vids and I thought it was pretty sweet to see you not just play it, but the whole game even :)
That last one was the only mission I could never beat, you are not alone
I am loving this nostalgia trip. What a game! But I still have nightmares about collecting those damn monkeys on Bart's levels.
And now here we are watching Kevo play Simpsons GTA. the circle of liiiiiiife and all that
It's hilarious to me how they put stuff that would normally be a boss in other PS1 and PS2 games (the giant monster truck, the living skeleton, etc.) exclusively into cutscenes
Like they _tease_ you about a boss fight, but then it's just nothing and you go right back to jank driving
It's honestly super funny and I love it
Kevin is the most family friendly channel on UA-cam
I used to play this and Vice City a lot when I was younger. I mainly just drove around though, but it was fun
I think this is like the 4th time Kevin has played Hit&Run for us, and it's somehow different and fun every time
i love watching you play simpsons hit n run, you should do a playthrough with all the cheats on it’s basically like chaos mode because one of my favourite cheats would make cars explode on impact and it makes some of the missions impossible to complete 😂😂
I played through this game earlier this year and I had 2 breakdowns trying that last mission even WITH CHEATS ON so i wouldn't take damage. I did it eventually though :D
Imagine:
1. A one hour long Kevin video
2. A one hour long Simpsons Hit and Run video by Kevin
3.(?) A one hour long Simpsons Hit and Run video by Kevin WITH THE CHAOS MOD
I leave for a while and come back to 30 to hour long videos this is Kevin overload and I'm here for it
I remember this game super vividly, I played it on the gamecube and remember the Monkey mission kicking my butt several times. I got super frustrated with it as a chid
Just discovered your account and I absolutely love all your content! 😩 you’re bringing back our childhood and it’s very consoling haha
This truly needs a remaster the best GTA clone ever made
Hey Kevin, I just want to say thank you for these long plays. They are really well edited and funny. It’s been a while since i genuinely looked forward to a UA-camrs uploads.
I LOVED this game as a kid. I remember getting the game but having to wait for use to get a computer that could handle it for like 6 months. I’m gonna have to play it again because I never got anywhere close to finishing it
YEEEESSSS, I wanted a full playthru of this game so badly!
The main characters abuse of Marge seems like a connection to the harry potter games 😂
Very spooky coincidence, just the other day I was watch Kevin's original Hit n run videos. It was that series that made me subscribe, and it's so awesome to see it make a comeback on the channel!
It’s so weird I played this entire game when I was a kid. I don’t remember the middle of this game at all. Only the start and end. Especially the end.
One of the first video games I ever loved as a kid. The Halloween level was always my favorite, but the missions were brutal to finish.
Somehow, I managed to get 100% on this game back in the day. Watching this video, and remembering how tricky some of the missions were, I have absolutely no idea how I had the time or patience.
Kevin coming out with some absolute bangers recently
I'm pretty sure I did beat the game as a kid but I definitely remember having so much trouble with that final mission.
One thing I remember about this game is that if you kicked a person just right, you can launch them in the air... Ahh, childhood memories 😂
I may have to pull out the ole GameCube and play this again
I downloaded it on emulator
A couple of things I want to mention about this game;
1. Someone made a mod adding the Steamed Hams skit as a mission
2. Shesez did an episode on it where he gets to talk with a member of the dev team, explaining some interesting info on the game
The bit a few people are mentioning in the comments is that Matt Groening (creator of the show) has played the game, and the first thing he did was kick Marge to Kwik-e-Mart, based
Really been enjoying the game! I haven't hit any of the levelcaps pointed out in the video, but I've also been doing a lot more side stuff than the main quest. Only downside to doing that meant that I'd unlocked cool mechanics (like the beast bag, alohamora etc) a lot later.
You were NOT the only one that struggled with the nuclear mission. Many tears were cried and controllers nearly destroyed in frustration.
