as someone who knows how much spit comes out of the end of their flute, this is horrifying. After a long practice session if you shake your flute to hard spit goes flying.
Isn't it condensation? Not spit?
@@yourlocalbritishmusician yes and no, it's partly condensation from blowing hot air but there is still spit coming out of the end
Those two may be in love and it just doesn't matter

It’s not really pit its condensation but sometimes when I play spit or saliva just comes flying out my mouth into my flute so now I guess you can say yes or now
When I close my eyes I hear shakuhachi and ryuteki at the same time. Incredible

Thanks a lot John! We make this by blowing both at the same time from opposite sides. The end of the flute works as a nei/kaval flute, so it's played with oblique technic, the same one that flute players use for this instruments. We'll upload a tutorial video explaining more details about it soon, since many people already asked for it. Keep an eye if you want to know more! Best wishes

Hi Jia, since it was the first composition we did in this way of playing, we just called it: "duo a flauta sola" or "duet for one flute" hehe :)
I need to know what this is so I can play it at solo and ensemble

Hola Francisco! Gracias por tu comentario :) La escala que usamos principalmente es una pentatónica en do#, que es la que sale de forma natural cuando tocas la flauta por la pata del instrumento! 😅😍

We have this song into our repertory with Zopli2, a duo project based on world music. We played it already many times! so if you have the chance you can come and see us live ^^ Actually we play tomorrow at the World flutes festival in Mendoza, Argentina. :)
