In 1995 the MozART group began to travel the world.
Now, after more than 20 years, 50 countries, 4 continents, 2.000 flights, over 300 incredibly complicated issues to get the cello with a valid (!) ticket on board of an aircraft, 1 million driven miles, surprisingly just a few lost bags but countless hours spent on airports of this planet, there is a good number of stories the quartet would like to share with the audience. "MozART comes to town!" presents a musically funny point of view on unexpected situations, regional characteristics, on their and your world. Whatever the differences between nations are, including all spoken languages, there is one universal link, which makes us understand each other: music!

For who are not practical : The song the piing pong violinist played was “Habanera, Carmen”.
The ballon master played “Cant help falling in love with you” instead.

that sad moment when you realize a baloon sings better than you do
maybe objectively. but art is usually subjective.
Andrea Roll what song is the table tennis ball

That moment a balloon spells better then you
@@87rango92 Carmen - Habanera
The balloon is actually much harder to get a consistent note out of than you would think - I tried it once and managed to get a fairly convincing rendition of amazing grace after a couple of hours of practice, but the hardest part was ensuring that fingers were *exactly* the right distance apart to produce the correct pitch, the margin of error is less than a millimetre so the fact that this guy accurately produces all of those notes means that he practiced it enough that it ended up in his muscle memory
Or, great intonation sense
@@dan-us6nk I promise you, intonation sense has very little to do with it, as I said the margin of error is _tiny_ so even the slightest variation in your finger width results in a wrong note - it's basically impossible to accurately hit every note (especially that final high note that he got from a new fill with no reference - absurdly impressive) without it being basically muscle memory
@@J75Pootle You just described bowd instruments. He is a professional chamber string player, I think you strengthen my point
@@dan-us6nk oh absolutely, he'll definitely have an advantage because of that, but as I said it will only account for a small amount of how he was able to do that because it's a different technique. You have finger and thumb on each side of the balloon spout and you have to pull them both apart evenly - which is completely different to sliding individual fingers up and down the neck of a string instrument. Also as I said before, the margin of error is so much smaller - on bowed instruments (especially the cello he plays) you can be out by half a millimetre and absolutely no-one will notice because the change is so slight. However, if you're out by half a millimetre on the balloon you'll be at least a quartertone if not a full semitone out of tune which is definitely noticeable
I have to admit, the vibrato of that balloon is impressive
“Yes, I did study balloons at Juilliard. Why do you ask?”

Ping pong, violin, standing on one foot and singing, That's multitasking if ever I saw it. It's always a privilege to watch talented people, thank you.
First guy: How to impress a woman.
Second guy: How to impress a man.
I don't get it
Reply to Trey Atkins: The first guy (with the pingpong) was impressing women, and Kalijah Anderson said that the second guy (with the balloon) impressed (i’m assuming) him as well. He found “the balloon man” impressive I think. (Or maybe also handsome, I don’t want to jump to conclusions

Although it isn't the first time I've heard balloons being used as instruments. The first instance I can think of was Yusef Lateef back in the 50's. The albums were “Other Sounds” and “The Sounds of Yusef". Certainly ahead of their time.
@@wellesradio Don't forgot 99 Red Balloons
I actually have a headache from laughing at this response
I love how after all that the guy in the audience struggled to even hold on to the ball 😂
That is such an amazing performance. This is one of those risky performances where if you make one mistake it all crumbles and you look like a fool. Only really talented people would even try this on stage.
Imagine being so good at violin that the hard part is actually to do the table tenis racket
My laughing chimney is a creepy guy
Honestly you probably don't even have to be incredible at violin for that to be true. The plucking can't be that hard, and it certainly is difficult to get a consistent rhythm like that without hitting the ball slightly too hard or slightly too soft and throwing everything off.
@@joshkirkfield The plucking is difficult to master. Source: I've played several pieces that requires left hand plucking and its extremely difficult
@@joshkirkfield You think it would be easier to learn playing that one-handed on the violin than bouncing a ball in rythm?
@@vigator1301 I play a lot of ping pong, and I know that bouncing a ball perfectly in rhythm for that long is in fact difficult. On the other hand, while I cannot do the plucking, I am also not a good violinist, and it seemed plausible to me that it could be mastered with relative ease. However, you can see that a violinist did respond to my comment, and confirmed that the plucking is also difficult, therefore I was wrong. Conclusion: both parts are difficult, and the performance is even more impressive. Win win.
I'd like to think that Mozart would have approved most highly of this act.
I love imagining important people from history who have died watching our world from somewhere in the afterlife, either disapproving of it all or being really heckin' happy with what we did with what they left behind.

Damn that's actually really impressive. His mind power... and ability to focus on 3 different tasks... that's actually insane. His accuracy on the one handed violin pluck and the ping pong ball matching the music and the vocals plus having the fear of messing up.... damn. Edit: also having to stand on one leg, and for the triggered violinists, I mean’t left handed pluck (not one handed pluck).
He's been doing that act for quite a while so he's pretty much used to do it
@No BS its easy to do once you break it parts up to the point that you can do it blind and slowly bring the parts together. It is sorta like playing a organ, keeping tempo, playing 3 parts, two with you hands and one with your feet
@No BS and practice. Like learning to play piano and sing, where your two hands are playing something completely different and your feet are pushing pedals and your voice is singing a different melody. It takes learning the individual parts and then putting it all together with practice. I was most impressed with the ping pong playing. I'd never seen it used as a musical instrument before!
he's got lvl19 abilities ;)
What song did he play?
Bro took multitasking to a whole new level
The sense of rhythm this man has! To be able to keep best with ping pong ball and paddle, pluck his violin and sing notes all in different tempos. I’m truly impressed.
