    Oh man...this takes me back.
My very first concert ever was Tool.
It was in 2002...I was 19 years old and had never been to a live show...ever.
So, for my very first concert to be Tool...well, I had no idea what to expect.
But, once the lights went down, the visuals started playing, a cloud of marijuana smoke rose from the crowd, and that deep drone started playing....I felt massively giddy, in awe, and almost anxious.
It was such a powerful feeling. Spiritual in many ways...

Sadly I have never seen them again. Almost 20 years ago of this... and still my drum hero!

I had a local video store that served as a ticket master outlet. They would advertise who was all coming to the twin cities MN. I remember seeing the flyer to Tool 2001. The lady working would always try to get us the best seats for concerts and I got two for this tour. I had heard they were awesome live but had never experienced them myself. When I got to this show my mind was instantly blown away and I became a huge fan ever since.
I wish the tickets were as easy to get unlike now a days with bits.

Easily one of Tool's best shows ever. I SO wish the band themselves had filmed shows back then....just so we could have HD quality.
But still, this is wonderful enough.
What a set list! Pretty much ideal. Sadly Pushit wasn't played, but hey...you can't really complain about a 2 hour show with a set list this packed with their best material. Also....I absolutely love the visuals throughout. The grainy black and white looping abstract stuff is really aesthetically fascinating to me for some reason...

What do you dislike about the lyrics in 10,000 days? I think it's the most diverse album by them lyrically.

Way late, but you never can tell. Check out Devin Townsend live, either his newer (lol) solo stuff, or back about 15 years ago when he fronted Strapping Young Lad

lets remember the 9/11 happened that year and also Maynard in a concert rigth after (can't remember if was this one) said the U.S. gov planned it all so maybe that's why they are chanting "USA, USA"

U mean the guitar? In some interview he said he plays his vocal harmonies with the guitar but it's barely audible. I think nowadays he has a keyboard

organmies Yeah, sounds like a dumb question now. It just didn't look like a normal style guitar. I got confused, haha.

Why does literally every single The Grudge bootleg focus on every band member but Danny during the final drum solo. 10:56 - it's like a sick joke at this point. Every fucking bootleg is all like "oh wow gee adam's really bending that note" instead of "oh jesus fuck danny's opening up the ground and unleashing cthulhu and setting the sky on fire with the drums". All I want to see is the man play the best drum solo in the history of music.

Well I think it's a sick joke to not show the movies they made for every song I couldn't care less what they are doing to me that's fucking stupid and fangirl bizarro...
I want to see ever second of the movies full duration of the songs that's the experience they created.
