Scratch is a very underestimated engine. Turbowarp really takes it to new heights. Especially in the FNaF scene, with Turbowarp animations made by you and really fun and creative Fangames made in Turbowarp, the main fangame developer using this engine I can think of being ITDEER.
I love afton’s voice in your animations personally. I feel like it wouldn’t make sense for him to have that cool collected voice he has in canon with the personality he has in your animations. The chaotic energetic vaguely-British voice works WAY better for how you depict his character. Speaking of his personality in your animations, I love it, it’s hilarious, and not enough people depict him as a ball of petty murderous chaos
NO WAY!!! you can do THIS in SCRATCH? i just sold my soul to the adobe corporation for animate and you are telling me you can make this beautifull animation in SCRATCH... Love your work
Honestly, if you're able, choose anything other than Adobe. There's many free programs and they don't cost your soul. Scratch is one example, I've personally used Krita. Adobe is expensive to the point of feeling like a scam, even cancelling the subscription to it costs money (or thats what I've seen online.) It's a very shitty company that I wouldn't support if you're able not to. At the end of the day, it's up to you of course, but maybe look into it.
As someone who used to animate in scratch, good job on sticking with it. People heavily underestimate scratch, but so far you’re the first I’ve seen to be successful on youtube with it. I still have a bunch of old unfinished projects.
6:13 For the most part, maybe, but one of my favorite little details was that one part where Michael flails his arms around and smacks one of Cassidy’s pigtails while she just silently stares. That tiny, extra detail just cracked me up.
I am not an animator, but a scratch creator and I had no idea scratch could be taken to lengths like this for animation! You actually taught me something in this video about scratch that I didn’t know after 3+ years. This is crazily well made and you are hella underrated.
I ain’t gonna lie : each time I see anykind of media with William Afton in it, it’s your voice version that I heard... I realy like your videos, they're funny, goofy and always give me smile, so thanks for doing them.
Oh my god, you're genuinely so underrated. As someone who animates occasionally, I'll going to let you know: animating outside of Scratch is going to be so much different, yet so similar at the same time. You genuinely deserve so much more recognition.
I STARTED CRYING WHEN YOU SAID THE VOICELINE HELP 😭 (In all seriousness though you're an amazing artist and animator, and you 100% deserve all the love your channel has gotten, keep going with your passion ❤) (In all unseriousness I'm in love with your Afton design and I mean romantically)

This entire video is giving me flashbacks from when I was seven, using scratch for the first time on my own, and everything that you say in this video is literally what I did. Thank you so much for this ❤️

MY GOD! You're so cool! First time commenting, but I've loved watching your stuff! You just made me appreciate scratch and animation all together! Cheers to getting that new animation software! 🥂🎆
I Love animating in scratch because of how simple yet versatile it is. I have made a few animations before and posted them, but the only issue is: Screen recording is super unreliable unless you have a good pc. Luckily, I have been working on a program that can export the video for you, through literally slowing the project down and automatically taking screenshots of the stage and instantly downloading them. Then, all you have to do is upload the images into an image compiler like EZ-gif and download it as an mp4!
oh wow. flashbacks. i learned animation on scratch, but using frame by frame with bitmap by redrawing and tracing past frames. i still animate like that now, but with different programs. it was a very important start for me and im glad i continued to practice animation over four years later :3

oh my god my whole life i thought these were drawn in an actual art software and scratch was only used to put the images together. this is so impressive!!
I also animate alot on scratch, and have made (turbowarp) my home for animating! Its soooo overlooked as an animation engine as you can literally edit tricky things like bg effects, smooth motion, basic effects, flash and framerate at your will with the CODING!! The only tricky part in my experience is with sync, layering and recording, but overall Scratch is a REALLY good animating platform! I love your animations Catty :)
As someone who's not usually looking at animations of fnaf, just seeing this and the fact that you use scratch to animate is clearly some huge talent, you put alot of effort into your work and it turns out great! Keep up the awesome work

Great and simple tutorial for those that want to get started on animating in Scratch. yo i animate in turbowarp too! pretty useful. happy to see that other people do it too this actually gave me some pretty good tips for animations. thanks a lot!
Another Scratch animator here! Here's a few tips to some upcoming Scratch animators: ABSOLUTELY use TurboWarp, though be careful with the extras! If you try to put in blocks that are in TurboWarp but not in Scratch, attempting to upload the Turbowarp project onto Scratch won't work. Though Catty mentioned that coding is easy, I'd suggest learning how stuff like message blocks work, since those will help you make much longer, more complex animations. After that, learn more about motion and size blocks since you'll be able to make everything move more complexly while saving space in the process. You can use alt+click to scale a selection from the middle instead of from the opposite corner/side. You can also alt+click on the selection itself to duplicate it without having to go through all the hassle of copy and pasting, though it doesn't work between costumes. Do NOT attempt this with a trackpad and still be careful with the mouse, as doing it wrongly can duplicate the selection infinitely. If this happens, reload the project and delete all the wrong duplications. Do NOT use Scratch's built in sound editor. It will change all your nice and small stereo MP3s into huge mono WAVs, which is the worst of both worlds. Instead, if you can, record all your audio in Audacity, export it as an MP3, import it into Scratch, and DON'T touch it. If you're using the standard online Scratch editor/online Scratch Addons editor, make sure to back up your projects regularly! This is more important in those editors (though still do it in the others) because there's a glitch where some of your assets load as question marks. In that situation, DO NOT SAVE THE PROJECT, quit out and try to reload it again. I noticed most of the list sounds pretty negative, but don't worry too much about this stuff! These tips are mostly on how to navigate the Scratch editor correctly. If you know about these, Scratch is solid enough that you won't run into these issues often and when you do it's consistent enough to know exactly what to do. Just focus on the process, and you'll be golden!
Very excited for Bonnie Bully to be included in your animations, especially since you follow the theory of him being Cassie’s dad! I love this guy and I love that theory :]
This actually deserves a sub. Like animating on scratch is in my opinion in hard then animating on an animation software is easy but animating scratch difficult cause you need to also code it make an animation and make backgrounds. So keep doing what you are doing
