Have you been wondering how people are installing soft locs? In this video I show you exactly how to do it, with no knots at the base, no heaviness, and I show you 3 different variations for short hair, long hair, and a low tension technique for sensitive scalps and people who want to be able to instantly pull their hair up into a ponytail, etc. This video is also done using a bright color of hair so you can easily tell the difference between the natural hair and the added hair. That means this video is great for visual learners. I hope this video helps!! As always, if you have any questions, let me know in the comments! Until next time y'all, take care, God bless, and stay glam!

I started my moms locs 10 years ago when i was 17 with your first method.. i used virgin kinky human hair to achieve the long loc look she wanted (25inches). It locked up so naturally and beautifully.. 10 years later most have been already cut out "about 3 inches a year" and now is left with with long natural locs thats all hers😊

Hi from the UK. Any thoughts of demonstrating authentic locs please? Mine are thinning due to over-styling with tight styles. It would be great to see you showing a loc wearer having their roots retwisted, as you are so patient and thorough. I'm so over tutorials showing people giggling, playing music and chatting incessantly about themselves before getting to the point! Stay blessed 🤎

At this point of my life I wear locs, twist and braids because I'm lazy about styling my hair and it's much easier for me to maintain.

Thanks for imparting your experience and knowledge to us. I love braids, twists, lots but was never satisfied with how I did them in my own hair. Your video showed me that it IS about technique and once I get it correct I can choose the product.

Thank u sm for the twist method, I don’t have the dexterity yet for braids on my own hair so this is clutch. Going to try this tomorrrow!
