Lmaoo girl faux locs are the prettiest of extensions but by far thee WORST to take down imo ..I cut a little piece of my hair trying to take them down... when someone else does it I'm sure it's easier but on your own it's definitely harder 😭
@@amEAGLEBABY5 😂😂 You ain’t lying! But they’re not even pretty enough to go through all this! Took me days to take that bs out my head. Just finished today. I cut a piece of my hair too in the back. Smh 😂😂
Thank you for sharing & explaining. If it wasn't for your thorough demonstration, i probably would have had to pay $200 for a take down. I was charged $400 for the hairstyle, not including a tip. It only took me 45 minutes to remove them myself...& i am very grateful.
Gosh.....this is so helpful....I didn't believe it at first until I decided to try it on my 4 months old soft love and it worked like magic..... I cannot thank you enough.❤❤❤❤❤
Omgee thank you! This is the best install/takedown tutorial ever! I did my daughter’s hair like loc 3. It was hard tryna make sure it didn’t look too bulky at the base but this take down seems like the easiest while also maintaining the integrity of the faux loc to reuse.
This is why I stick to yarn braids! 😩 I got these installed over my locs with the crotchet method and I’m fighting for my life to take these out. I ended up cutting my hair, luckily it was in back but still!! Thank you for this tutorial!
You’re an absolute godsend. Thank you!! I followed this other YTer’s video, and I cut one loc and half of my hair came with it. I had to look up another tutorial and thank goodness I found yours!!
THANK YOU!!!!! I thought I was going to have to keep these in until they fell out 😅. The last time i had soft locs I cut them out along with my actual hair looking crazy when I was done 🥴.
This was a GREAT way of showing 🤦🏾♀️. Now all I have to do is apply theis knowledge because mine have been in a little over a month…..I’m natural btw😮
For mine, she braided my hair all the way down, then she spit my hair at the root and slid the loc through the middle part of where my braid starts at the very top near my scalp, then she uses the loop that’s on the loc and pulls the loc through creating a very loose knot. Then she just pulls my braid through the loc with a crochet needle . when I take it down. I cut the loop and everything comes out
I need help finding how to remove these faux locs I have, but my real hair is French braided, and the loop loc is crocheted in... I can't find the removal ANYWHERE
NEVER AGAIN... like silky dreads, this ish is the worst. Looks nice, but the take down is a choice of bald, patience, or uneven cut hair. Fool me once, and I won't try it again. THANK YOU FOR THE EDUCATIONAL SHARE
With the way the comment section is going i am scared of getting my locs 😢. I wanted to get them for christmas and it would be my first time but with this comment section if i am ever going to install them i will definitely do it myself cause the comments are crazy 😮

Thank you. About to try this now. I don’t think I’m ever getting this ish in my head again. 😡😡🤬🤬

Exactly 💯 I tried 😢 and it's not working. So I'm gonna go to a Barber and get a buzz cut. Hell, it's just hair. Hopefully, my hair will grow back.
She does it again y'all, you are so appreciated.
Thank you 🙏🏽

This video helped me a lot. Sped up the process. Also realised across my head, the locs were installed in different ways.
I love the option to save and reuse the locs❤❤❤. Money is tight and usually synthetic locs can be reused at least 1 more time.

Thank you so much!❤ I’ll never get this style again 😢it’s so much work !

Braiding the locs with the natural hair is genius and easy to take down!
THANK YOU!!!!! I thought I was going to have to keep these in until they fell out 😅. The last time i had soft locs I cut them out along with my actual hair looking crazy when I was done 🥴.

I feel the exact same, the takedown isn't worth having the style.
Did this method help you take them out? My cousin can not get hers out
Yes it helped tremendously after finding out the method the braided used it worked and it took no time to take dwn
I cut one of my hair. Luckily its on the back. I havent pulled out one of my natural hair yet. The third method was what was done and boy!!
My braider f&$ked me up. She didn’t braid my natural hair all the way and looped it up somehow. I’m so upset :(
Thank you! Perfect instructions
Very ,very helpful

GBU because I just took down one for the first time (far right if you’re looking at your screen) & I cut off about a good 8 inches of hair
I am so annoyed it can't come out
I love your voice ❤️
This ain’t work for me 😅
Thank you, this helps so much!
The tutorial was well explained but I seriously doubt if I’ll be finished anytime soon I started at 11 and I’m still in the top of my head at 3:45 pm
Great video!!! A big THANK YOU
Me searching for this video knowing I installed my own locs 👁️👄👁️
Thanks!
Two people did my hair and I’m taking my hair down right now and I think one did the second one and the other did the third one
