Phil is the man. We are planning to film a lot more. This is just the beginning!
That is what I'm talking about!
Love this content. And remember Grant, you need to take the hat off when you shake hands. 😀
Grant wants to play a master in chess. 😂
Edit: Bro you dunked it on Phil to win! 😳
Phil is definitely 1 of 1
Grant, you need a joint channel with Phil! It’s the way!!
Grant has a much better short game than Phil was expecting lol
Grant is a phenomenal golfer
Phil is also a funny guy who tries to get into your mind. Maybe he knew Grant has good short game maybe he didn't
Grant has a sneaky short game, typical of + handicaps that aren't super long off the tee
@@kevinconnolly754Yeah grant always had a great short game, didn't he have like 3 hole outs in a good good major 😂
@@kevinconnolly754 Grant still avgs 290+ carry with driver. Idk why people think he hits it short.
Walk-off DUNK is insane!
That totally had me ROFL, and I'm sure that got Phil's attention! Game over!!!
This is THE duo. Content like this is going to make Phil’s fanbase explode. He’s cool af. Definitely easy to watch and listen to. Pure gold.
I was already a fan of Phil's game, but I'll watch a little more of Grant now!
And then put them in a match against Bryson and Martin Borgmeier and... that would be madness!
would love to see them vs the bryan bros
Him saying he's going to will your putts out makes all the lip-outs in the round that much crazier.
“ I don’t anticipate this one being that long” lol
well......hhahaha had me laughing
For real these two are a serious golfing item, I absolutely love the chemistry here. I'm calling it here we will see more Phil and Grant content given the response and the unforeseen clicking between these two. What a great thing for the game of golf! Thanks Grant keep killing it man, and big respect to Phil for figuring out the future direction of the game. Cheers
Well also if you read the description they stated they’re going to film a lot more
phil grant vs Bryson and Garret. break yt golf
@@crestfall4 I agree with that video concept and the clicks, but garret is not on these dudes level quite yet. as far as consistency - of course he has days where he is, but sometimes i feel i could hang with garret lol... until he takes it more serious he never will be. him and grant are my all time favorites, but that is just the truth IMO
@@crestfall4100% right… underrated comment
@@clintsbrown if you have seen bryson and garret videos, those 50 videos and many other challenges they do have great chemistry.
The point is not to show who's the best vs who, is the way to entertain people with Pro+ytber vs Pro+ytber and i feel like the one youtuber that can enable bryson and have best chemistry with is garret. He;s a scratch, almost as close as good with grant. if not better
Phil "You're hot" that got me :)
That last chip absolutely impressed Phil and you absolutely looked more like his son to him 😂
😂Phil became a proud father in that moment
No way Grant dunked it in front of Phil like that, what an iconic moment!
Phil has such a disarming voice but that's what makes his trash talk game so lethal, hilarious
The look from Phil when you said "you're just really lucky?", priceless :D
I noticed that too. That was a cheeky little comment but very funny.
The chemistry between these two is something special. Between the 2 part 18 hole match and this quick video, really loved the duo 🔥📈🤘🏽
Grant, the partnership with Phil and vibe you had was truly ground breaking. This is a formula worth building on. The Grant-Phil show MUST continue
Grant/Phil vs Bryan Bros!
Phil is so technically great he just oozes confidence.
Cockiness* you mean
Grant needs to collab with Phil more, his game has been so much better hanging around Bryan Bros; imagine his game after Phil’s influence
“Thanks for comin” HOLY SHIT 😂
You both seem to have a real affinity with each other. Phil is a total player 😂 his first hole shenanigans was classic 😂.
This isn't the last time we see Phil on this channel, that's for sure. Incredible chem! And of course the last hole-out was bound to happen, lmao.
Mate! I love hearing Phil teach, so much wisdom
watch his interview with David Feherty
Glad to see Phil at +2 after the first day at The Open - with the joggers !
I kept looking but never saw Phil
The joggers covered up with rain pants.
Phil is like Wesley but even more extra 😂
Wesley doesn't make stuff up just to sound like he's smart.
@@Nobody2day553 he says his brothers name 4 times a hole and that's far more annoying
@@jessehutchinson7539 I can hear him saying it as I'm read that. Lmao
@@Nobody2day553😂 nice comment ya hater
@@Nobody2day553Like you have any idea what you're talking about haha
Phil is great! Grant made the right choice in branching out from Good Good. His content is traditional golf and learning based. He really is a student of the game. I love good good, but get tired of the strange games (That spinning wheel, 1 club challenges, or thift stores stuff) they play. I'd much rather see traditional rounds or match play golf and get the opportunity to learn things. You can tell playing with Phil is such a big honor for him.
Damn, Phil was made for this UA-cam business. He’s so entertaining.
That lesson in the bunker from Phil was priceless.
Wow, a Master class on the wedge game from around the greens from Phil Mickelson. I can't name another player better to get these technical lessons from.
Bryson
10:53 Grant walking with his older shadow.
Imagine to hear these words from Phil, you must be over the moon Grant.
Big Thanks to Phil for doing this, its so fun for us to watch....!!!
Those inputs on bounce - were priceless. I had to watch that portion about 3 times to make sure I understood it.
@6:04 Phil is just filling your head with so much information for when you go in the bunker and take your wing, you will have some of that info affect your swing. He is teaching us and making sure he wins the game.
Best short fourm golf video I've ever seems.
Educational, funny, competitive.
Will defiantly be playing this game.
the bounce tips right before the bunker shot just completely blew my mind!! so many things just clicked with the differences between my 56 and 60 wedges. THANKS PM!!!!! this is great content!
watch David Feherty/Phil interview
That ending was sick. Grant seriously is the man. Great work guys, this was fun and instructional.
God what a great time to be alive and no wonder playing golf didn’t get on my radar until recently. There was zero community like this when I was younger.
It's been so good watching Grant's game improve as he plays with better golfers. Phil and Bryson are a wealth of knowledge even though it can be overwhelming at times. As he was talking about his 60°, I realized that I've ground my own wedges similarly. Slight back bounce relief and most of the heel bounce removed. Nice dunk G!
Very interesting lesson from Phil on his 60-degree wedge's bounce and its effect on his set-up and ball position.
Grant have Phil on every week. The wedge knowledge he imparted here and all around knowledge on your main channel was incredible!
This is not only incredibly informative, but awesome to watch the charisma you and Phil have together. Looking forward to seeing more of these types of videos!
I’ve always appreciated Phil’s no nonsense attitude toward teaching golf - maybe not playing it with some of the insane shots he attempts. He has always been a straight shooter when it comes to teaching. No frills, just skills and thrills baby. He revolutionized my putting game years back with the circle drill and the 25% back - 75% follow thru on putting. What a gem. Still at it too! Not to mention as a fellow lefty it’s been an everlasting pleasure to learn from his tips, tricks and drills.
I shot a 91 today!!!!! I had 6 pars and 1 birdie. Two weeks ago I broke 100 for the first time with a 98. Thanks Grant!
Would love to see more of Grant and Phil. They are very entertaining together.
This game seems like a lot of fun. I just constructed a Par 3 with a USGA spec green in my backyard. It’s only 92 yards but I guess still technically long enough. Seeded on 7/3/24. By next summer I’m going to hold the inaugural opening of the hole and after we tee off, we’re gonna play this game. Awesome.
Super jealous
Enjoy
That’s awesome
@@FinkleStinkle well we’ll see if I can pull this off. Doing it all myself and the grow in phase can be very tricky. Honestly though I think I’m enjoying the challenge of it more than I’m going to enjoy actually having it. Want to do like a neighborhood closest to the pin fundraiser or something. Anyway, be well man!
Grant....the hole out at the end was unreal!! Even Phil was like okay, we're done here, no more lessons to be had 😂
I'm pretty sure Phil could easily charge $100,000 per hour for personal wedge lessons. That may sound crazy but many successful people around the world would fork that over in a heart beat. I always wonder what Grant is thinking when I'm listening to one of the greatest short game players in history talk about "back bounce." What a blessing for the Horvat team to be hanging out with legends casually picking their brains.
Monetary value of that = PRICELESS.
Maybe 1 less 0
The back bounce thing was big. I thought he was going heel grind for a second but this was new and valuable.
@@dominicbaiamonte9991 You greatly underestimate how much money there is in golf. There are absolutely people out there with enough disposable income that they could duke that type of money just to hang out and hit flop shots with Phil.
The decision to break away from Good Good looks better and better bro! Really cool experience, thanks for sharing
Never knew I needed this golf duo, but it’s amazing
Me and some of my buddies play a mini 9 hole on the chipping/putting greens to practice. If you're up you can choose and area, and lie, any hole and then you play it out and whoever makes the hole first wins.
Great for practice and makes it fun.
I have been watching Grant's videos for years and his short game always impresses me!
So many things Phil brings up are things I’ve never heard from anyone else. The difference in bounce and how his is different from Tiger’s and Grant’s. The sand shot selection, Grant’s right handed shot working away and down the hill, where Phil’s left handed shot is working into the slope. These are pure gold nuggets.
Phil and Grant. What a combo and great chemistry. Can’t wait to see more
Always love the way Phil breaks everything down in real time. Very entertaining
absolutly brilliant phil and you are grant together great humour and banter whilst teaching us novices how to play these shots fantastic more please from you two!!!
his banter is top notch. the head games are unreal
Grant you are an amazing golfer man, seeing you in the charlotte airport was amazing brotha, you’ve inspired me to golf and it crazy how much you improve each video, Huge supporter man , your awesome
Phil FIGJAM Mickelson “F I’m Good Just Ask Me” and Grant…killing it.
One of the best teaching videos! How did it make you feel being around Phil? I could tell you were excited and nervous being around one of the best ever to play the game. Never knew Phil was such a blast to be around. UA-cam has given you, Phil and other golfers an incredible outlet to reach your fans. Please reconsider playing in the tour. If you can hang with Bryson, Ram, Sergio & Phil then you have what it takes to be successful and win on the tour. Don’t sell yourself short Grant!
Grant and Phil Vs Tiger and Charlie. Father and son VS father and son. Needs to happen!
I would like to see that too!
“Thanks for coming!” - Grant Horvat
This needs to be on a T shirt and you have to say this EVERY time you win a match! In the nicest way of course.
Like this if it’s a must!
What an absolute blast it is watching one of golf's GOAT's playing an exceptionally good You Tube golfer! I mean come on, Grant dunking on Phil and then him saying " I didn't realize how hot you are", freaking classic! I am 58yo and have never gotten as much enjoyment watching golf as I have since I started watching all the content on You Tube, this is the future of growing the game! Keep it coming Grant, and a shout out to Phil for sharing his wealth of knowledge!
Chipping is probably my fav part of the game. THIS episode was great-with 2 greats :)
I love a good chip more than a putt, drive, wedge
What I love about the YT golf with the Pro's is that you get to know the Pro's and their personalities. That is really cool. I think YT golf do more to golf for youngsters than the PGA. I also thank the Pro's to get involved with YT golf. Phil is the 6-7th pro that I have seen on YT with the youngsters and he is the best.
That look on Grants face after the dunk, priceless, and Phil was just done after that......
You guys need to collab more. Awesome chemistry
i love a bit of Phil. I met him the night before the Open at Muirfield. He was eating fish and chips, signing autographs up to 930 pm the night before the opening round. Legend and he went on to win in style!!!
Phil - I don't think we have time to finish after watching Grant kick his ass. We have to start our round so you can kick my ass again and make we wear those joggers at the open. Great job with that youngster at the open calling for the 260 3 wood. Fan Fav for sure!
Phills old chip and pitch lessons is what changed my game around the green. Fun vid to watch.
Thank you Phil and Grant. The nuggets of info are gold! Thanks again
I would really like to see this as a regular monthly or quarterly tips/tricks segment. The collaboration and banter with Grant and Phil is a lot of fun.
Awesome chipping contest! Thank you for sharing and both stellar chipping by Phil and Grant.
Love these Lad and Dad videos!
Keep 'em coming!
Phil knows what hes doing 100 percent of the time its amazing to watch him even play little mind games with Grant because he knows how to win.
Phils reaction was the best! Matched the grin, shook his hand... "That was awesome."
listening to phil and what goes through his head as he approaches a shot is crazy. what is most impressive if he isn't going over possibilities, he is going over things he knows to account for. could listen to him talk about golf all day.
Could listen to Phil talk golf all day and the bonus is his humour!
2:13 possibly the best short game player of all time gives you a super compliment on your technique
Grant: "K..." 😂
Learn so much from this video.. best thing happen to golf community is LIV. Now i get to see side from pro i never seen before, better yet to learn for free from LEGEND 😭
LOVE that Phil referenced the john rahm video. its sick that these pros are watching youtube golfers like the rest of us.
I haven’t watched Phil since he moved to LIV, he looks so different I didn’t even recognize him! Great match, great banter, loved this!
This is incredible stuff, Grant! Seriously loving it!
The absolute epicness of what happened at the end there will be a story Grant has forever. You go bro, super cool to see you killing out there.
More Phil! I really enjoy Phil’s commentary. So interesting, I really like how he explains his shots. Phil is a natural at this UA-cam gig.
i think Phil and Grant work so good as a duo because Grant has a good sense of humor but is more reserved and Phil is more out spoken and has a good sense of humor as well and it brings more of Grant out. also love hearing some of the more technical thoughts Phil has when he is approaching a shot
The mic drop at the end was all time greatest. To dunk a chip on Phil must have been a little heart breaking for him. I've used PM grind Callaway wedges for years now. I'm on my 3rd set and I hope they are still around when I need my next new set.
Incredible dunk beside the wedge legend. Unbelievable!!
Well done 👏
Great content Grant!! Love Phil and you working together!
The sound of grants chip and dunk needs to be a ringtone. Perfect acoustics
Phil saying he didn’t see the sexy in grant until the hole out is hilarious 😂😂😂
Love this video especially with phil. Always admired his playing since he won in Arizona the very first time. Grant you literally have the best golf content on UA-cam IMO
Phil has been my favorite forever !! Great guy, great personality & just fun to watch play the game of golf ⛳️
Love Phil content! He says “this goes fast if we pick up the pace” thengives a 5 min lecture on sand wedge bounce.
Him using will against GH is a tiger ref and he also had the tiger slayer. I love the subs the guys is the KDOT of golf. hahahha
That last shot though !! A sound I’m still chasing !
I’ve been subscribed for less than a week and I’m so glad I did. Gotta love the knowledge that Phil has . Chipping GOAT
That finish was priceless - beating Phil in a chipping competition makes you officially awesome Grant
You think Phil knows a little bit about Tiger? Every video he’s talking in detail about what Tiger has, what he does. Obsessed, driven, competitor. It’s awesome.
@4:20 Mr. Mickelson drops some valuable bounce knowledge for all you master wedge players.
Phil is incredible. I never fully understood bounce until now. What a great video and what a way to end it.
Washing you too banter and commentary with a shot. Awesome thank you for lesson. Definitely going to go out and try to work on my short game because that’s where golf is all about you’re up and downs.
Awesome vid- Phil is a national treasure.
My dad once hit phil in the back with a golf ball, and when my dad got up tho him he said sorry and phil just said «that was a really good shot» and nothing more. What a man!!
"I might have to will a couple of your putts out." Grant proceeds to hit the lip 5 times. Sorcery right there!
Always liked Phil. He has always been nice to fans at events, etc. But he is more generous than I’d ever have guessed. What a great guy!
