      Right? It’s so much fun to listen to, but man he would be a tough coach… just because almost everything he does is based on feel, and that’s impossible to teach.

    Tiger is incredible man. Not just for everything already mentioned, but he was a sponge when he was a kid. He would listen to all of these greats -- Seve, Palmer, Nicklaus, you name it. And he remembered everything. And now when he's talking to these young guys, all of that wisdom from generations past is coming back. What a gift he is to the sport of golf

    That is all so far out of my league but it was great to hear them talk about it. It's also amazing to hear how golfers pass knowledge along to the next generation- Tiger sharing what Seve told him with Collin.... And as great as he is, to see Collin's response to how Tiger thinks and goes about his shots is priceless.

    Heard TIger mention Seve numerous times when it comes to the short game. I believe he went to see Seve and had a personal clinic on the short game and said he couldn't do or replicate some of the things that Seve was showing him! Would have been amazing if they'd got some footage of that.

    • @martynzl
      @martynzl 17 днів тому

      Incorrect. Butch was coaching Maria Jose Olazabal at the same time as Tiger so he got to a lot spend a lot of time with Jose but also Seve. He also made the point that he disregarded a lot what those 2 were doing because it didn't suit US conditions. Seve played percentage shots not difficult shots so I dealt Tiger ever had issues with replicating. If you are able to find the interview where Tiger talks about Phil he explains why he thinks Phil has the best short game and not Seve

    • @BOO66IOU
      @BOO66IOU 17 днів тому +1

      @@martynzl then try looking for the interview with tiger at the open just after seve died in 2011 where he talks about spending time with Seve and not being able to replicate the shots that Seve showed him. Tiger called Seve a genius. It's on here mate so I shouldn't be so hasty as to call me out as incorrect as I would say u are!
