I'll never get tired of Tiger explaining how he hits and feels golf shots
No one knows more about the golf swing than Tiger!
Right? It’s so much fun to listen to, but man he would be a tough coach… just because almost everything he does is based on feel, and that’s impossible to teach.
What a time for golfers, we have tiger & Phil explaining and teaching us all via YT
Great time for us all.
Tell me about it. I started golf in my mid teens and had zero content like this, just freinds telling me what I should be fixing. Now I'm 43 and back into the game, and I find this content immensely helpful.
I like that there's no "host" character in this. Just two pros talking.
Tiger is incredible man. Not just for everything already mentioned, but he was a sponge when he was a kid. He would listen to all of these greats -- Seve, Palmer, Nicklaus, you name it. And he remembered everything. And now when he's talking to these young guys, all of that wisdom from generations past is coming back. What a gift he is to the sport of golf
It’s amazing how much thought goes into every shot for pros.
I can take notes and watch Tiger explain golf all day
watching this, I feel golf is much more complicated than most people think. Pros seem to think about so many factors even when they just have a 15 yard chip shot
Most amateurs play golf swing. These guys play golf.
The better you get the more difficult it becomes
Every shot has to be lie based before anything else.
I don’t see how it can be any other way..
I suppose when you play courses set up as hard as they are on tour you have to think of every aspect to get it close
@@MrFisher676 and quite the opposite, got to sometimes play away from the flag.
Such a tough game.
I think Tiger found his 2nd career by having a video series like this. We get to see his knowledge, along with meeting and understanding other golfers and their knowledge. Very insightful and enjoyable to watch.
two goats. grew up watching tiger, been a big fan of colin for the last couple of years. so much good info
I love that I can watch what Tiger does as he explains now. Before, years ago when I just started, you had to read the article and try and figure it out. Now you can watch. It’s so much easier and love that he does this.
the thing about tiger: he not only knows what happens and why as he's hitting the ball, he knows and understands what everyone else is doing
Man we're so spoiled getting to enjoy content like this. Thank you!
Hearing Tiger never gets old. Love these.
This videos are so cool and interesting to watch. Could watch all day!
That is all so far out of my league but it was great to hear them talk about it. It's also amazing to hear how golfers pass knowledge along to the next generation- Tiger sharing what Seve told him with Collin.... And as great as he is, to see Collin's response to how Tiger thinks and goes about his shots is priceless.
Love everything tiger is saying. My father taught me, i get everything hes saying about feel and hands. Grew up chipping around the yard, dad put a chipping green in. So much is just practice. Most we had was a pw and sand wedge. Had to get creative.
Fantastic insight into the mindset of the greatest player of all time. Excellent contribution by CM
I love this so much, thankyou!
This is so cool. Big call .. but I think Tigers short game artistry will give him a chance around Pinehurst. It brings him into the conversation
Oh im with this. TaylorMade squad all day everyday
See the single ball mark on Tiger’s wedge - the guy’s a savage, constant contact on the one spot. Mine on the other hand has marks all over the place 😂
I see that I laughed to myself
that's the first thing i noticed...my wedge has marks literally on the whole face LOL
“We’re getting ready for a tournament.”
Tiger, there’s nothing left to prove. It’s time to call it an amazing career.
He is a competitor
Love this content.
That was awesome.
this is gold
21:52 This is definitely true in life in general too... I read lies so much better now.
I could watch him talk and demonstrate golf all day all month all year
Tiger is such a legend.
UA-cam is one of the greatest inventions of all-time.
Tigers a legend.
I'm the same way, I don't play a glove bc it twists and can throw you off. I feel i have way more control without one...but you do need to build up callus on your hands or blisters will come.
Heard TIger mention Seve numerous times when it comes to the short game. I believe he went to see Seve and had a personal clinic on the short game and said he couldn't do or replicate some of the things that Seve was showing him! Would have been amazing if they'd got some footage of that.
Incorrect. Butch was coaching Maria Jose Olazabal at the same time as Tiger so he got to a lot spend a lot of time with Jose but also Seve. He also made the point that he disregarded a lot what those 2 were doing because it didn't suit US conditions. Seve played percentage shots not difficult shots so I dealt Tiger ever had issues with replicating. If you are able to find the interview where Tiger talks about Phil he explains why he thinks Phil has the best short game and not Seve
@@martynzl then try looking for the interview with tiger at the open just after seve died in 2011 where he talks about spending time with Seve and not being able to replicate the shots that Seve showed him. Tiger called Seve a genius. It's on here mate so I shouldn't be so hasty as to call me out as incorrect as I would say u are! Btw saying Seve played percentage shots and not difficult ones says u know nothing!
@@BOO66IOU Really! ua-cam.com/video/yAaU6ZLs4Jg/v-deo.htmlsi=9QRJDl483C0bwIWe&t=339 . Did Tiger just say that Phil hit shots that Seve could not! LOL
@@BOO66IOU Btw Incorrect was referring to the personal clinic that you lied about. What's funny is that your details are very similar to the link but with a Seve fanboy bias. Your a liar and a joke
Los Angeles Legends, Cypress and La Canada guys just talking golf.
I wonder what major venue they were talking about?
Colin getting a wealth of knowledge off the goat
Stiff and RH? Works for me! Cheers
“that’s good shit right there” 14:05
Tigers into had me cracking up for some reason. He really sold it
Tiger's Talks = Tager Stalks. Might be a good title.
yooooooooooooo that ball impact zone on tiger's wedge is a thing of beauty
remember they were releasing 1 min videos a while back and we all crode about it
I like tiger says thanks when Colin steps ball into that shit lol
Does Tiger have a rust colored wedge or a rust covered wedge?
What Tiger calls “doing it with his hands”, I’ve always called “the shot that has to be played”. Not routine. Not stock. Not practice. The required shot.
It is strange that Tiger's way is almost the complete opposite of Dan Grieve's 3 releases short game approach. Yet, both Tiger and Dan are world class golfers. It's true, golf is hard.
Trying to explain why he's such a generational player. References to Spanish greats Seve and Ollie... ❤
I wear two gloves, because the club twist in my hand. Its such a huge improvement. I use the taylormade rain gloves. Anyone else do the same?
you have iron covers too? lol jk
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Tiger thinks so differently from younger players because he’s really a feel player whereas most young players are rote learnt.
“Feelz”
Tiger no glove = GOAT
It's raining outside...who cares...I'm gonna go and chip
This is a $5k lessons folks 🙌
“Wide on both sides”?
And this is why tiger is the greatest his mind is so advanced he even confuses top top pros lol
Man is he starting to look like his Dad!
Drawing a 15 yd chip is crazy.
Short game and putting is what 90% of amateur golfers should be practicing. That is where the strokes are made up. At this point most hit decent drives and approach shots.
lol tiger called it the British open. Heads are exploding across the pond.
Listen, absorb, practice, hope some of it translates to real life.
That's what we call ageing, I looked at my face the other day and to be honest I saw something that I have to live with for a very long time and I'm almost certain it's gonna get worse . Baby face is gone.
Old vid? Big cat wearing Nike and not Sunday red. Not that it matters lol
The detail is absurd lol
3:25 LOL, maybe 1 of 100 golfers can hit a lob shot like that from inside 15 yards. It is fun to watch but just not practical for the average player.
They over complicate this every time. Keep it super simple KISS.
show me better content than this and i'll show you a liar
