- I tried this for the first time and I was shocked by the results, I'll stick to my regular car wash soap and brush. Try it yourself!

You can also use coke with your rum, whiskey etc. Works well!

It's not that it cleans it, just that the sugar on the coke shines when it dries. You can drop a few drops of coca cola or any drink with high fructose syrup which is sugar on anything and let it dry and it shines. Does not necessarily have to be coca cola.
using pure water and sugar or salt works just as fine
I would've used a spray bottle to spray the coke...but thanks for the idea I'm gonna try it out...

Coke cleans lots of things. A dirty choked up carburetor, strip it and let it soak in Coke for a few hours, put it back together, it's like new. Imagine what this stuff does for your stomach...

Back in the late 70's Coca Cola was used as Ardmore All.. Tire was shinny.. Just let the Coke dry and there you had it. Also Coca Cola is good for cleaning chrome..

Clean tires first.. let dry then brush on the coca cola... then let dry. The tires will look reasonably shiny..

I had a friend that complained about his stomach hurting all the time. Dr., said it was probably a peptic ulcer and , typical, a bunch of meds for his stomach. I asked him how much coke pop he drank. He said he and his wife went thru a case or better each week and they didn’t like water or milk to drink. I know he drank at least 4-6 cans each shift. I told him cut back on the cokes. He did and stomach was cured or was hurting less. Duh!!!

It's the acid in coke that cleans, not the product. If you use any acidic liquid, it will do the same. Like vinegar.

That tyre is fucked anyway! See the cracks ? Caused by drying out of the rubber & UV light, needs replacing.

I suggest not to shake the Coke, its just better to drink when taking a brake between 2 tires

"A little secret to washing your car and making it sparkle"
1. A little bit of dish soap
2. A can of Coca Cola
3. Dilute both soap & Cola with warm or cold water
4.For some reason this method softens the grease or gunk throughout the vehicle making it shiny.
5. "Awsome" degreaser "liquid" used to clean tires, don't forget to dilute with warm or cold water. You'll see the dirt or grease come right off, then rinse off with water.
6. Not recommended to use Coca Cola to clean tires some might fall on to break caliper.
7. I've been doing this for years and it works beautifully. Although depending on the exterior condition of the car or whatever its going to be used on, it might work or might not. I speak for myself.

Yes, water first. I suppose the phosphoric acid in the Coke does help remove some of the brake dust and road grime.

Problem is that coke degrades rubber.
I use always Coca Cola to soda pulvered wheels. And after 3 minutes all dirt, brake dust, insects, cats, rats and policeman release off.
