Miljenko Matijević is the lead singer he was born in Croatia. his range is so unbelievable, 30 some years later he can still hit those high notes, he can't hold them as long, but for all these years later it is still very impressive... Steelheart was one of the most underrated bands of the late 80's early 90's. Do a reaction to their song "She's Gone"

I saw Steelheart live back when they were touring for this album and Miljenko Matijevic is the real deal. He hit those notes live…and more. He’d bend over backwards and hit those high notes. I told my friend who was with me, “Dude…he’s going to either break his vocal chords or his spinal cord!” LOL
Yes, he can really hit those notes live. WITHOUT auto tune, back tracks, or any other garbage people do

If you've ever seen the movie "Rockstar" starring Mark Wahlberg, this is the band who performed all the music that Mark lip synced too. In the movie they were called "Steel Dragon". 😊
That is not true. The only song Steelheart sings from that movie is We All Die Young. Know your facts before you give false information.
@@davidtheriot3205 What he's trying to say is, Miljenko is Wahlberg's voice double for that movie. No need to rip his head off.
Actually you're wrong...the singer from Steelheart did voice multiple songs besides We All Die Young from that movie it's just that the actual soundtrack for the movie doesn't include those versions...much like how Jonathan Davis from Korn originally did almost the whole soundtrack from Queen of the Damned.
They created a different version of we all die young from the studio version. I actually prefer the one from the movie. And Mili’s voice want the only one they used for Mark Wahlbergs character. They used Jeff Scott Soto aswell so the soundtrack which is awesome has both singers sharing the tracks.

These 80's rock band guys really had voices! No filters really needed. Sabastian Bach and Axl Rose! Wow just the notes and everything about the sound is amazing!

I had the honor to hang with Steelheart in 92. Chris the guitar player was the best cz he took me away from the crowd so it was just him and I and he gave me a poster and signed it in front of me then we talked for a long time. I couldn't believe he told the crowd that he cant talk to them just to hang with me. 9 years later we became friends. He told me that I remind him of himself. Wow insane. Nikki Sixx treaded me the same. He invited me on his tour bus and we talked a long time, nobody else was on that bus just Nikki Sixx and I.
Welcome to 17-year-old me watching MTV all night long just to see and hear this epic performance! Jaay I love how you can appreciate a beautiful hair band frontman just like we all did back in the day. Oh yeah, and his vocals, unmatched.

@@davidcarter1157 Funny, I still remember buying their album. I saw it one day in KMart, and thought, who the hell are they. it may have been the next morning, I saw this video, that afternoon, I was jamming the cassette in my truck stereo.

Afterwards the radio announcer answered my question and then said they were opening for Lynch mob… I was like Hell yeah! The second time I knew and there was no question on if I would go or not.

This poor guys career went down so fast. He was at his concert and a section of the lighting fell on him and almost died. Tough break he was on the up n up.

He still sounds awesome. The stage accident messed him up pretty bad and he had to basically re learn to sing. His high end isn't quite where it was, but he still kills it!!!
