I was blessed to have graduated high school in 1984. So from 79-89 was the greatest decade ever, kinda like Groundhog Day I’d love to live that decade over and over and over again.

Welcome to the world of Miljenko (the singer) and what an awesome reaction! It's a pretty sad story though. A lighting truss fell on Miljenko (on Halloween night in 1992) and broke his jaw, nose and later found out that he also got brain damage from the impact. That is what forced Steelheart to break up. It took him years to start singing again, but now he is back to hitting those notes again.
One of the most underrated powerhouse voices of the 80s.dude held the bar higher then anyone at the time.

The lead singer (Michael aka Milli) wrote this as a testament to his love for his then fiance and soon after wife. there are songs you like. and love. then theres songs like this that go into your playlist . his voice is otherworldly. hide your glassware.

You know whats funny guys? Ive been playing guitar, drums and bass for a long time (am 43 now) and it makes me smile to see young generation react to classic music. We covered everything from Skid row to Nirvana - but NEVER Steelheart! You know why? Because, never met a Vocalist that could hit this range. Because of the high notes in this song, I would say its easily in the top 5 hardest to sing songs of ALL TIME. That note he hit at 7:07:00 absolutely legendary, very few pro vocalists can hit that one.

Well, one of their older songs (We All Die Young) was used. Steelheart as a band wasn't involved with the film, only Mike Matijevic. Steelheart was broken up at the time. The rest of "Steel Dragon" music was performed by Mike with members of Bonham, Ozzy and Dokken.

I heard this song A long time ago and recently I Googled it and I seen these vocal coaches on UA-cam given their opinion on the song so I sent one to vocal coach and now everybody's listening to it kind of funny huh this song is older than some of the people watching it now
This was mine and my wife’s song that we danced to at our wedding…circa 1993. Yes, this is definitely wedding material! We didn’t fully appreciate his vocal mastery at the time, we just loved the song. Not falsetto: that’s coming from deep down where most can’t go.

Marky Mark and the funky bunch. if you were to ask him and why we say no due to the demand on how a lead singer of steelheart things unattainable. The name of the band on the movie steel dragon.
