    Welcome back to my workshop 😁.
    In todays video I do a quick unboxing and review of the latest tool I have got for my workshop.
    This is not a sponsored video and I had to buy this tool with my own hard earned cash 🤣.
    Hopefully this video shows the basics of this tool and can be used as a guide if you are in the market for a new cordless jigsaw.

    Nice review Frank, looks like a great little jigsaw. They should have grown in a light in the jigsaw somewhere for us old blokes

      Thanks Harki, that is so so true. but now I'm getting older i will soon need a light that is so bright it will probably burn the wood while I'm cutting 🤣🤣. thanks for watching 😁👍

    Thanks. Good review! A bit pricey now with no free battery. It's on my "buy in the sales" list. They all need to sort out this battery removal business.

      😁 Thanks Liam. I agree, with the free battery deal it is a bargain (I love a bargain). Hopefully they will do it again soon as I want to get the multi tool. Thanks for watching 😁 👍

    It's so easy to forget to unplug or remove the battery from a tool, that I try to build redundant, repetitive habits, like pushing the trigger lock after a cut, so I have to be dumb 2 times instead of one, to hurt myself. It looks like you made a good purchase, and made another good video as well. I have seen you use that small square so many times, I bought one. I don't know how I got by without it. 😊 Thanks, and stay warm.😊

      Hi Chris. Im sure we are all more than capable of being a bit dumb a minimum of four times in a row 🤣. i know i can. I think its only the fear of loosing a few fingers that keeps us all safe...ish 🤣. Yep, i think this is a good buy, im loving it so far. I do have a brand new set of engineers squares...... some ware ??? but just cant find them under all the mess in my shop. But the little one..... is like an old reliable friend and i trust it 😁. Thanks for watching Chris, stay safe 😁👍

    What like is it for vibration. My black and decker one is so bad that it can lift the full jigsaw off the wood if your not careful. But it is about 15 years old.

      😃 So far vibration is minimal. My old jigsaw suffered with vibration witch got much worse when the blade went dull (because it was just pushing the wood and not cutting it). But this one has been awesome so far 😁. Thanks for watching 😁 👍

    Good review Frank, I only use one for circles really and this looks a lot better than my old corded Bosch. The reason I don't buy cordless is because at some point I'm going to feel fleeced by a manufacturer changing the way the battery fits.

      Hi Ben, i hope you are well. I also have a corded Bosch which is still serving me well but sometimes i need the freedom of a cordless. I agree about the battery changes. I decided to move to the Stanley battery platform when i got my drill and drivers...... and then they changed to the V20 fitment.... i just cant keep up with the changes 😢. Thanks for watching Ben 😁👍

      @@frankslittleworkshop Hi Frank, I am well thanks. I have thrown away three good quality cordless drills because the batteries died replacements were more than a new drill/battery combo. I bought cheapo drills years ago (that star on my channel), which I've never had to replace - the irony! Thanks for posting your projects, always enjoyable.

    Thanks for another great video Frank. Is the oscillating stroke more effective, and noticeable, on rip cuts when waste clearance from the cut is more essential?

      @frankslittleworkshop  Рік тому +1

      Hi Michael, After using it a little more i can now see the slight increase in speed when using the oscillating setting on No2. But the cut is a little rough when compared to setting No0. the waste clearance has not been an issue yet on all the cuts i have done but i think it will be more noticeable when using a finer blade on some hardwood. overall i think this is going to do exactly what i need it too. Thanks for watching Michael 😁👍
