Here in Australia (so the number may be different) adaptor SFMCB100-XE can be purchased separately to allow V20 battery to be used with series one tools.
No affiliation, simply a very happy user of this tool.
Kind regards from Australia.
😁 Thanks Doc. Yes, I've seen the adaptors ill put one on my Christmas list 😁. I think it would be a great addition as I now have the V20 and the series 1 tools. Thanks for watching Doc 😁👍🇬🇧
Nice thorough review mate. Having a free 4ah batt also helps
😁 Thanks Dave. Yep, the 4Ah battery is a super bonus. I'm glad this one actually arrived. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
wow finally I found a real review for Stanley FatMax THANK YOU Would love to see some more of the FatMax V20 range if you've got any or comparing it to DeWalt been trying to figure out which one to buy for DIY on the farm
😁 Hi Lonley 🤔. I would love to do more reviews on the V20 range, but at the moment the angle grinder is the only thing in the range I have ☹. So unless the lovely people at Stanley send me some free goodies I haven't got any other V20 tools to review. But have no fear.. if I buy any more then I will do a review. If its any help I am a big fan of most of the other Stanley tools I have so I would probably recommend them anyway 😁. Thanks Lonley Stoner 😁👍
I like my Workzone 240v angle grinder, for its variable speed. Situations, like being up a ladder working on cast-iron guttering, where the lower speeds are way safer than the higher.
😁 Thanks Colin, all of the Workzone tools I have are great. I have the 240V workzone angle grinder with the longer grip... its great 😁. Thanks for watching 😁👍
I got those 125mm thin cutting blades from Aldi.
There great! They will even cut wood, very carefully...
😁 Great value for money. I use them all the time 😁. Thanks for watching 😁 👍
Nice Frank. Thanks for the review. Looking forward to seeing it solve problems. I don't use an angle grinder much, but the corded dewalt I have is def thicker than that. I think the slimmer handle would give you more control over kickback.
😁Thanks Nathan. Hopefully i will get to use it on a project soon. Your 100% correct, the slimmer handle is much better than the usual thick body. So much easier to hold securely. Thanks for watching 😁👍
I've the 3 piece drill/impact/saw set and got a saber saw to match.
Angle grinder is the next on the list so this vid is useful.
😁 I must admit, its a great angle grinder. Hope the video gave you a taster of what it is like 😁. Thanks for watching 😁👍
No, I'm here to watch Frank rabbit on 🤣
😂🤣 Thanks James 😂 I hope I didn't dissapoint 😂🤣. Thanks for watching 🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇 😁👍
Great video, just subd, all the best rob 👍
😁 Thanks Rob, much appreciated 👍. Hope you found the video useful. Thanks for watching and the sub 😁👍
Looks like an old generation dewalt grinder
😃 Yep, looks very much like the DCG412N, but I'm not using the DeWalt battery platform. So this was (for me) the better option. Thanks for watching Pat 😁👍
Not surprising. The same company owns DeWalt (Pro/tradie) Stanley (semi-Pro/heavy DIY) and Black & Decker (light homeowners DIY).
Probably share engineers and design team members between the brands.
You can buy a battery adaptor for the Stanley
Frank = what is the 4un time for 4.0 Ah battery vs 2.0 Ah battery
😁 Hi Yogesh. I guess that would depend on what you were doing (I.e. sanding or cutting). But to be honest I haven't used it for long enough in one session to run either battery flat and I normally charge it after a couple of uses. Sorry I can't be of more help. Thanks for watching 😁👍
All of my power tools are from stanley fatmax.to bad thé onder version batteries don't work with thé new ones. Still very good and strong devices
😁 You can get an adaptor to fit the older batteries to the new tools... but not the other way around 😔. Thanks for watching 😁👍
@@frankslittleworkshop i didnt know that . Anyway awesome channel . Love thé content.
@@reefboy82 😁 Thanks for the support Hans 😁. Its always nice to get some positive feedback from my viewers 😁👍
Hi Frank, Great Video. Looking to buy one but would you think it can cut 450x450x50mm thick concrete marshall paving flags?
Hi DK. To be totally honest I haven't used it for cutting flags yet but I honestly don't think it would be much of a problem. But I would highly recommend using the best cutting disc you can get and also use at least the 4Ah battery. And take it steady not over working the cutter and it should be fine. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching 😁👍
This machine available in India??
No kickback break ?
Funny thing is that all batteries have 21 volts cause of 5 18650 batteries inside, doesnt matter if it is 18 or 20 volt battery
😁 The main problem is the actual mounting of the batteries, its a shame they changed it ☹. I now effectively have yet another battery platform to buy ☹. But I still love this thing. Thanks for watching Kodizar 😁👍
I have 5 amp batteries
thank
Why didn't you get a 6 amp instead of the 4 amp
Does it take dewalt batteries?
😁 Hi Karel. No, as far as I am aware this will only take the Stanley fatmax V20 range of batteries. Hope that helps 😁👍
@frankslittleworkshop Thank you Frank for your prompt answer.
Now I know a little bit more about Stanley power tools, I didn't know they made these as well.
Wish you all the best.
Stanley grinder design was ulgy
Great review Frank. Love your videos especially some of the facial expressions and outtakes🤣😂👍
😁 Thanks Allan. Glad you enjoy them. Its nice to know I'm doing something right 🤣😂. Thanks for watching 😁👍
