    Thank you for all the makita reviews. Your partly to blame for all my tool purchases this year! lol Now you keep going with the 12 volt line, I'm gonna end up with 12 volt tools I don't need mate!!! Just playin keep um comin along. I learn somethin every time. Cheers!

      Cheers Dain, That is probably the last 12v for a while, back to 18 and 36v stuff next.

    i had a few CXT tools in my tool kit. one was the JD102 barrel grip jigsaw. its one tool i just never saw a reason to get in 18v when i upgraded, i have about 12 18v tools, the jigsaw will never be one of them probably just because the 12v is plenty powerful, i only use it for light work, like curves etc. its almost as powerful as the 18v and nearly 1/3rd lighter. its one of the best tools in 12v hands down

    I'm looking to get the 10.8v range for DIY work at home as it's pretty much the same price in the UK as cheapo brands

    thanks for the review! i have makita 12V and 18V and i was wondering wether to get the 12v or 18v jig saw. i guess the 12v should be fine for the small stuff i plan to do.

      Tools & Stuff silly question time !!! Is it ok to use an 18V battery with it ? Getting mixed messages off experts claiming Yes and No.

    Wish the had a 12v angle grinder!

      I doubt they will ever do one, not until technology improves at least. Angle grinders use a lot of power.

      @@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL Bosch has one, Milwaukee too, so the technology is there.

    Will you also do a 18v vs the 18v brushless?

    • @ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL
      @ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL  4 роки тому

      I have heard a lot of negative things about the brushless model so I'm not sure if I will get one especially seeing as I don't use a jigsaw all that much.

    Why is jv101(10.8-12v) more expensive than jv143(14,4v) ??

    • @draskogagula2073
      @draskogagula2073 2 роки тому +1

      Becouse 14.4v are history ..
      No more 14.4 v product..
      They just make 12v (10.8),18v,40v

    • @ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL
      @ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL  2 роки тому +1

      They do still make 14.4v stuff, but they are not sold in many countries.

      You are incorrect, they still make new ones. They have just released a 14.4v trim router. And a lot of the 18v tools run on 14.4v as well, and they still make them like that. I bought one today.

      UA-cam studio beta is still a pig! Replied to a whole lot of comments in beta and none of them have shown up. So let me try again...
      Bring her around and I can give it a go....
