Even on their basic cars ford always kills it with the interior, I like the heavy use of leather in the Ford lineup

My mother have a 2019 Ford Edge SEL and she loves it! Such a nice vehicle from outside and inside.
After cross shopping Hyundai Santafe limited, Nissan Rouge. I found the 2021 Edge SEL properly packaged to have the right features from my use case, 1) ergonomically, technology. While not perfect I’ve chosen to buy the SEL conscience package & Co- Pilot Assist +. To find a vehicle that best fist you really takes some research and some times learning by owning cars experience one make or break feature.
Love the edge! The interior is my all time favorite, As well as the exterior!

Just bought a 2024 Edge. Re acceleration and power, My wifes 2018 KMC seems to have a quieter and more powerful accleration. The Edge has sort of a straining hum on acceleration. Any thoughts?

Ford Edge if you want comfort and Jeep Compas if you want to go on adventures and love off reading and etc through dirty and nasty roads..
Both have their own advantages of course but the Edge is bigger

My mom has an Edge ST its not like that in person. The video makes it sound weird.
it's how the mic is picking up the sound. I'm on headphone and it doesn't sound right, listening to the highway segment.

The Edge has been my favorite suv from Ford, but they kinda ruined it by giving it that cheap sounding horn, adding that tacky touch screen, and using ST rather than Sport.

@@ThatCarGuy2 I like the ST but I think Sport they previously used matched the SUV. I drove one and liked the ride my only gripe was the fake engine sounds when you're in Sport mode.
I've never ridden in either, so you would definitely know better.

What in the world is it with Ford and absolutely massive touchscreen tablets sticking out of the dash?? Sure, the old interior was in no way class leading, but just some improvements in quality and changes in material along with a few changes in design here and there would have done the trick.
The RAM also has this massive screen setup.
@@dave_riots That's true, but the one in the RAM is far better integrated. This sticks out like a sore thumb.
Fiat Chrysler was Praised for theirs. So Ford built one too.
The previous gen edge looks better tbh and that horn sounds like a Chevy Spark lol

Ford is probably the only car company left who will ride their old designs and interiors for like 20 years. That edge has not changed since the one in 2013 that I rented. Only thing that’s changed is the screen which is embarrassing.
This generation came out in 2015. How did you drive one in 2013?
