The chiefs game is a microcosm of Diggs’ final 8 games as a Bill. But this year and last he dropped some really bad balls he never used to drop. But from a Bills fan the amount of first downs he came up with far outweighs them. He’s a WR1 from that aspect alone he’s just not a 34 million WR anymore and by the Texans voiding the final 3 years was prolly the best thing they could’ve done to get the most out of him. I still want to see how he reacts to not getting 160 targets

Was it at home? It's so damn cold there I honestly don't know how you people do it. Like why would you want to live in a frozen hell? Do you hate yourselves? 😆
No I kid of course. After all, Houston might actually be hell, it's so hot. 😆
All joking aside Diggs will really benefit from playing indoors and not having to face more than 1 cold weather team in the regular season this year. I think the plan is to try and win out so they don't have to travel and play in the frozen tundra come Jan. Then the Super bowl is played in the Superdome 😎

@@juqual78 honestly the chiefs game wasn’t too bad I think it was 27ish. But with the wind chill it was like 6degrees. You kinda just get used to it. And you can always add layers to stay warm. If it’s 120 degrees I’d be buck naked losing a gallon of sweat an hour. But here’s the kicker in January that’s when the Bills and other northern teams thrive in cold weather cuz they’ve lived through the temp changes. If you guys can get the 1 seed you will be fine. If not and a team like BUF,KC even Baltimore gets it you have to go through them and last year it sure seemed like the Texans were feeling that freezing rain which is prolly the worst. Wet and cold there’s no escaping.

@@buzzed0nbeer21 Yeah I've been watching Houston and Miami go to die every time they try. AFC northern cities are where warm weather teams die come Jan.
If MIA or HOU was smart they would rent a large freezer to practice in, any time such a game comes up!

    Is he still good? ..yes.
Is he worth the trouble as a long term investment?...no.
He is exactly where he belongs at this point.
    On a one year deal

I agree. 2 might have been too much commitment due to age and the Texans now get the added benefit of a super hungry player fighting for his next contract.
I honestly don't see Diggs as being a locker room issue in Houston thanks to Demeco and CJ being the top dogs, but I also think his best days are behind him. He has 1 to 2 good years left if he is lucky.
The Texans will be thrilled to get one solid year because of how many free agents they will lose next year combined with the almost sure hiring of Bobby Slowik as a head coach somewhere else. The Texans had to pay Bobby Slowik NFL record OC pay to keep him there! 💰 This year is their best shot and they know it.

Keep up the great work man. I’ve learned so much about the game from your coverage and film study. 🙏🏽

Just the first cut you show is kind of all you need to see. If you get open CJ is going to find you. That and he is going to put the ball in a place that only Diggs can get and actually will lead the receiver and throw him open many times.
I'm not saying Josh is trash, but CJ is better at timing and ball placement. It's going to benefit someone like Diggs immensely who can do those subtle moves to give him just enough separation to have a clean shot at catching the ball. Because they kept Bobby Slowik at OC, I expect his integration into the offense to be pretty seamless and solid. I could certainly see him pushing past that 80 PFF rating this year due to taking on so many CB 2 and 3s as well.

The only thing that I would add is maybe Houston has added just what they needed. How they use him is to be seen. I watch the Lions but if CJ plays as good or better the sky is the limit for them. Sophomore Slump? They have the makings of a very good football team.

Stefon Diggs is still a good player, but he is not a WR1 anymore.

Well the Texans would have been fine with a WR2 after Tank went down. They don't have much talent past Nico and Tank, just a bunch of #4 WR at best.

23mil is the going rate for a fringe #1 WR. Just how it goes in a passing league. That is why you need some on rookie contracts or the payroll is a billion.

No. He's trash. He was barely good when he was "good"

    • @juqual78

sounds like sour grapes. 1500+ yards and All-pro is trash? Ok buddy. You should lie down. You don't seem well.
