They finally make a Patrick Willis vid about 9 years after he retired 😢
Took forever

@@qwertyuiopasdfghjkl000the hate is real for light brothaz can't wait till y'all admit it in public jealous darkiez
@@qwertyuiopasdfghjkl000Half the league is black
They thought he was coming back
The only bad thing about his career was how short it was. One of the best to ever do it
Dude played 8 years and made 7probowls, 5-time all pro.
In my mind he was the best Middle line backer of all time when healthy and playing. Just didn't play long like you said
@@bobbythorton7693Him & Bowman was a nightmare in the middle for teams 💯💯💯
@@FeezFBaby bowman was good, but patrick willis but just like him with wide out speed Which made him fly around the field and made that contact instant and brutal. Both of them together best duo middle linebackers ever.
@@anthonymendez5232 only year he didn't make it he was decimated with injuries. Being a an pro bowl rookie in that era was insane at the time. The league was chalk full of absolute dawgs playing LB, was more of a balanced run/pass era and LBs to me were the biggest difference makers on defense still.
Ray Lewis and Patrick Willis makes the number 52 looks so cool especially as a MLB 💪🏾🏈
51 is cooler to me for a linebacker but I agree.
Lawrence Taylor wore 56 🐐 all the 50 numbers are cool
@@mordecaismopstickfacts
we got 54 Fred, and 57 Greenlaw
@@pitech4446 yeah that’s true
I miss Patrick Willis and that whole defense from 2011-2013. That Niners squad under Harbaugh was special!
In 2012, they had 4 1st team all pro players just in their front 7. Willis, Bowman, and the 2 Smiths, Justin and Aldon.
@@camctrail& then carlos rogers was 2nd team all pro with joe Staley & both David Akers and Andy lee were 1st team😂 squad was deep as hell
@@PurePain0 Ahmad Brooks was 2nd team too lol
That defense was TOUGH definitely one of the best teams to ever play on a football field
thank Singletary for building that defense 😮💨
Patrick Willis deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. DROY, 5x First team All Pro, 2nd team All Pro, 7x Pro Bowler, 2x NFL tackles leader, Defensive captain during Super Bowl & 3 NFC Championship squads in only 8 seasons. Patrick Willis was elite his entire career.
Should have been 1st ballot
He will be. They had to vote Zach Thomas in first cuz of how long he waited, and Pat had a shorter career then most HOF guys so theyre just makin him wait a little.
FACTS
@@theenilenation May have been first ballot if he were at a position that had flashy stats. Similar career to center dwight stephenson, who had to wait through six years to get into the hall despite being perhaps the best O-line ever- but like linebacker, most casual fans and sportswriters don't understand how important the role of a center is.
i bet if he had 1 more all pro year he would have been first ballot, which we all know he could have easily get. Best middle line backer in the league for a minute, could do everything great, stop the run, blitz cover the speed was crazy so he was always around the ball. Best ever in his prime healthy just didn't play long
What a blessing Niner fans get with two decades of great linebackers, Patrick Willis and Navarro Bowman to Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw
Makes me think about the Bears great middle linebackers as well, Bill George, Dick Butkus(Rest in peace 😭) Mike Singletary and then Brian Urlacher.
Man Dre Reminds me of Willis so much. He ain’t there to play no games and he is a tone setter
@@19kambohe’s ruthless at the point of attack sometimes I’m laughing at the guy getting decked
warner & greenlaw= kittens. willis & bowman= dragons
The shoes a 49er's linebacker has to fill
Patrick and Navorro were best linebacker duo I've ever seen and some of those years had some of the best defenses ever assembled. It's shocking they never won a super bowl.
Thank you Mike Singletary for mentoring Patrick Willis. More 49ers fans need to recognize the contributions he made to that defense as a whole. But what I really appreciate is seeing a man, lift another man up and mold him into the greatest version of himself he could possibly be. Shout out to Patrick Willis, Mike Singletary and that entire defense. Thank you for the memories.
They need to retire his number already
@@NinerEmpire5xyeah he was that good
Forgot that Singletary was there to mentor Willis, and coach one of the greatest LBs of the next generation!
@@NinerEmpire5x They definitely should retire 52 considering they have not issued it since his retirement.
Mike and Patrick should both be linebacker coaches.
Players like him and Kuechly who retired early to preserve their health but we’re still in their primes definitely deserve Canton. It’s not like he fizzled out or was washed. One of the best defensive players every year he played!
Willis is heading to canton🥹
Willis and Bowman were the most vicious linebackers I have ever watched. The 2013 and 2014 rivalry games against the Seahawks were some of the best games I have ever watched. Dude is most definitely a 1st ballot hall of famer.
aldon smith was up there too & ahmad brooks. 49ers are so good when it comes to finding LBs *sigh* just makes me tear up thinking about the potential aldon smith had. honorable mention reuban foster
Aldon, Justin Smith, bowman, Willis, whitener, that was a team to win multiple bowls
Whitner and Goldson was a vicious safety combo as well.....I swear it looked like they were tryna body bag folks on Sundays🤣
@@MainEvent628 Facts!!! That whole defense was vicious.
As a Seahawks fan, Patrick Willis will always be my favorite 49er. Dude was amazing and layed the boom for sure. Much respect!
I grew up watching this dude decimate opposing offense the only way he does... I wished Patrick Willis won at least 1 superbowl... Thanks for giving San Francisco hope man...
If only we had a better qb
The refs stole it from them in the NFCCG in Seattle.
I agree in that championship game against the seahawks! The play where navarro bowman got hurt will forever piss me off! He stripped the ball away And for some Never got credited for the turnover! If my memory serves me right That's what I remember and in fact i'm going to look it up right now! I can't imagine Rooting for any other team than the niners!! There are Big name niners that are in the hall of fame but patrick willis will forever be the niner and nfl player I like the most! I hope number,#54 can end up with a career like patrick willis!! Fred warner reminds me a lot of patrick, Might not hit as hard but is definitely in on every play just like willis!
@@mikeygurule2816the miners aren’t winning a ring for a long time..have fun striving to be the 90’s bills
@KingOChu what's your team brother?
7 yrs.. 7 pro bowls... 5 all pros... hell of a career.. even if it was short.. patrick willis will always be my favorite LB...
Most players need 15 years or more to get those achievements.
Same here! In his rookie year didn't he have like 170 some Tackles? I knew from the jump that this guy was Going to be something special!
Willis was incredible, right up there with Dick Butkus and Ray Lewis for the years he played. He just didn't play as long a career. But he had absolutely no weaknesses at the position; he was top-end at everything: pass coverage, run stuffing, blitzing, creating turnovers. Speed to go sideline to sideline, incredibly athletic and powerful. Great leader.
I miss him
Amen bro! No weakness whatsoever at all period 💯💯💯 He was a damn monster on the field lol
Dick wasn’t on these guys level. He was great in his era but wouldn’t have been athletic enough to do what they did in a 3-4 in this era.
As a 49ers fan he’s one of the best linebackers ever. Sad we couldn’t get him a Super Bowl ring
One of my favorite 49ers of all time, I still get chills listening to him hype up the team, one of the best leaders and LB's to ever do it.
Patrick Willis and Navorro Bowman we're completely feared by offenses.
Such a badass linebacker duo, they were DOMINANT
Best linebacker duo of all time and likely for eternity now that teams don't ever run 3-4 and always play nickel.
@@upside93 Fred Warner and Greenlaw will get us a ring and will be a duo to remember also.
they scared our enemies fans too. they horrified our enemies fans.
Retired wayyy too early. I was so heartbroken when all those pro bowlers left and Harbaugh was fired😔
A team that went from a contender to nothing in a few years, and now they are a good team again and they continue to rise from the ashes. As a Steelers fan, I hope they win a Super Bowl again sometime soon while I keep watching my team fall backwards.
@@LiamDeege yup that’s what’s up, it was a 5 or 6 year rebuild but worth the wait. I just hope they stay healthy enough so finally they can get that 6th ring one day so we can tie you guys. All we need is one but thanks for beating all our division rivals in Super Bowls 👍
@@LEBUMCHOKEDIN6FINALS If they get to 7 Super Bowls first before Pittsburgh, honestly I don’t care just as long as somebody gets there before New England does because I hate them to the back of my head.
@@LiamDeege Lol the Patriots are done without Brady. Mac Jones is awful. 😂😂They had their run.The Niners should of picked up Brady when he wanted to play for them his childhood team but doofus Shanahan said no😔
@@LEBUMCHOKEDIN6FINALS I still hate them even after Brady saul gone, because I want to see teams other than New England finally get their shot at a Super Bowl from the AFC because it was just the same thing every other year in the 2010's and I was just getting sick of them, which is also why I quit watching football daily after Super Bowl 51 even though I watched the year after to see the Eagles get what they deserve by winning it. Until Brady left New England following the wildcard loss, I didn't watch daily football again because I didn't want to see the same team in every single Super Bowl.
This man needs to be in the hall of fame
I remember the disbelief when this guy retired...He was still very much in his prime. One of the last few hard hitting true MLB from the hard hitting days
i wanted him back on the field in a wheelchair
It took me some time to realize why he stepped away and if he had continued playing the way he did and just knocking people around on the field, he definitely would have had cet! Patrick Willis made it fun to be a niners. Fan when the niners were not doing so well in the 2000's! Him and bowman were freaking amazing to watch!! what a pair of linebackers And I don't think Is c a duo like that ever again!
Favorite 49er of all time.
He gave us something to be proud of during some of our worst times as a franchise 🥲
He is also my favorite all time niner! Those years back in the 2000's When it was tough The lord said I've put you guys through a lot. So i'm going to give you one of the best all time linebackers forever play! The only thing that anyone can ever say negative about him is the fact that he wasn't able to win the big one!
My favorite player of all time, the GREAT Patrick Willis.. Incredible video of the man, the myth, the living legend. For those who watched him play, they know that regardless of who their team was, they watched a very special talent, and in my mind, the greatest linebacker to ever play the game. See you in Canton soon enough Pat! GO NINERS
Fastest linebacker I've ever seen in any era. Not only fast, but he hustled and made unbelievable plays. I remember that play against the Cardinals in OT where he caught a WR from behind that had wide open field in front of him. They ended up winning the game.
brian urlacher first sideline to sideline linebacker i ever saw. Willis second.
@@shmogaSorry but Urlacher didnt run a 4.37 40 yard dash!!! Our Linebackers now arent even as fast as Patrick Willis!!! People forget Pat was known for running step for step with teams #1 WR’s and TE’s!!!
Patrick Willis is the reason I am a 49ers fan. Between him and Bowman were so good and loved to be able to watch them play. Glad Greenlaw and Warner both got that dog in them.
@@WS-ul5fb pft urlacher was speed 88 LB in madden back in the 2000s. next closest was like 85. which is just as much useless info as a 40 yard dash time from their combines. looks like were in a stalemate.
@@shmogamadden, really?
As a lifelong 49ers fan, I miss this dude so much, he was the anchor of our defense pre-Harbaugh as well as the Harbaugh era, the leadership he brought to the team was Ray Lewis-eque. It's one of the saddest tragedies in 49ers history that he doesn't have a super bowl ring. It would be so awesome to have him as the Niners linebackers coach and right now Fred Warner is carrying the torch that Willis left behind. Long live P-Willie#52
Well said! #54 Reminds me of him so much!!!
Ray Lewis passed the torch to Willis as the best MLB in the NFL. Then Willis passed the torch to Kuechly.
No
@@sawyerlindeman3281well then who genius 😂😂😅
@@rockfresh5359Bobby Wagner or Khalil Mack genius.
@@LaWholeEnchilada Khalil Mack is an outside linebacker. I'd have to go with either Bobby Wagner, Roquan Smith, or Fred Warner.
@@LiamDeegeSmith is good but he's not in the same league as Wagner.
Definitely my favorite MLB of all time. Monster on the field. Completely humble off the field.
Unreal strength. Look at the ease at which he would make guys fumble. Incredible player and leader.
Yeah dude was built like a goddamn bodybuilder lmfao! He was hella strong 💯💯💯
Patrick Willis, to me, is the textbook linebacker. In terms of physique and intelligence. If I wanted to be an NFL linebacker, I would study the hell out of this guy.
My favorite player for so long. Retired early but still a first ballot HOF level talent and person
I was so sick 😷 when he retired early. I was like what going on? I miss you Pat but Warner has quickly brought back memories of you. Go 9ers. San Fran Cisco
This man made it big, had nothing and had to be a man at a young age, then became the best mlb for 7 years in a row.
Best 49ers LB ever and that is saying something. Awesome to watch him play. Sad that he retired so early. Total beast!
He did everything you want in a linebacker. At an ELITE level.
Coverage, Leadership, Blitz, hit, intimidate, knowledge, speed.
It's not crazy to consider Willis as the Greatest MLB of all time.
Him and ray lewis are two of the most dominant linebackers of our generation 🐐 wish Willis would’ve played longer
💥💥 straight beast definitely a future HOF.
Thank you Patrick! You made me love watching football, proud to rock your 52
Patrick Willis and Kam Chancellor are the two players i wished played longer. I became a seattle fan in 2012 and i loved those two teams battle.
The offense wouldn’t have any players left . All concussion protocols lol
One of my favorites growing up as a kid. One of the 3 best middle/inside linebackers I saw play the game of football.
Dude played 8 seasons, was all pro 6 tunes, probowl 7 times and an all decade player. How is he not in the HOF
An amazing talent. Him and Kuechley could have been all time greats if they played longer but they were too smart to do that. They valued their health and well-being over a long career and I don’t blame them at all. Their retirements came as complete surprises to me.
I love Warner and Greenlaw right now, but I grew up watching Patrick Willis and Navarro Bowman. They were just something special. There’s not too many historic LBs that I think would translate in today’s game, but I think Willis’ skill set and physical attributes transcends time.
Best #52 ever. By a mile
At one time Patrick Willis and Navorro Bowman were top of the top of all the LB’s in the league, 🔥🔥
Man so many memories what an Era for bay area fans takes me back to being young watching him so inspirational
The closest to Ray we've had. Still to this day. Was an absolute dawg
Bobby Wagner?

I've watched Patrick Willis Highlights every time.
Patrick Willis is such a perfect football player everything about him, the speed, sizes, Athletic, a beast, he did so much for the team and the strength that he has he's really unstoppable, and much more, anything you can think of a perfect football player is Patrick Willis, the sad part is that he didn't get to play for along time for is career...
Never had a “hero” or someone I looked up to in all my child life until I seen this man Patrick Willis on my screen playing for my Niners. This man was so entertaining to watch.
Patrick Willis should be in Canton. Absolute beast.
Shoutout to the UA-cam algorithm-Idk how it appeared but won’t argue w/a P-Willis vid. Top 5 ILB EVER! All out BEAST who shoulda been a 1st ballot HOF regardless. 7-8 DOMINANT years💪🏽
Patrick was a beast among men. The perfect linebacker. Those hits he laid out were highlights. All those strip tackles are all skill and talent. Those chase down tackles are legendary
This guy was definitely something special, one of my favorite players of the past 15 years.
Gotta love them Ole Miss linebackers. They grow them big and physical.
thank you for making a video on my favorite player, one of the reasons why i became a 49er fan. People feared him on the field but if you’re lucky enough to meet him, hes an even nicer person
One of the best Niners of all-time. Really wish he, Navarro, and Staley could’ve gotten rings.
I wanted to see Justin Smith and Frank Gore receive a Super Bowl win,as well. They came very close, but it was the offensive play calling, not defense, that let them down
I'm super happy he was considered as Patrick willis! Not mentioned as good as Ray Lewis but just a great linebacker all by himself. Respect brotha glad to have watch all your 9er games and watch you on Instagram enjoying retirement and life
Willis, Bowman, Whitner…what an amazing defense!
One of the best Defensive Players ever!!!! Thank you for all the great memories Sir!
Brief though it was, there will never be a better LB duo than Patrick Willis and NaVarro Bowman
He was a freak loved watching him play! One of my favorite LBs!🔥🤟🏼
I'm so glad I was able to watch this beast play. Much love P. WILLY!!!!
My favorite player thanks Patric for those memories

Justin Smith played such an underrated role on this team. I hope retirement is treating him well!
Oh man these highlights take me back.
He was so good solo.... but then came Navarro Bowman!... boy that duo was so unreal!
One of the greatest LBs of all time!💪🏽
This guys a poster on my wall, my computer desktop background, and been my phone background many times over the years 😂 literally my favourite football player of all time.
He is the Wolverine of defensive football. Just all instinct and technical perfection. No wasted movement just running through everything.
i remember running into him at five guys , very chill dude n a beast on the field
One of the best I’ve ever seen!! Sad to see him leave so early in his career but respect his decision
As close to Ray Ray as anyone will ever get
💯
He was purely better than Lewis. If he'd played as many seasons, there'd be no discussion. And Lewis shouldn't have been able to play as long as he did considering he literally killed a guy. Only LB actually better than Willis was LT.
@@upside93 you talking hypotheticals n shit....he killed a guy? Bruh, you're the only person on the globe that'll say Patrick Willis is better than Ray Lewis. And your reasoning is....Ray Lewis killed a guy. Ha! Have a seat sir.

He’s such a ruthlessly physical linebacker. Had he stayed in the league longer, he would have been a future hall of famer
Hell get in eventually. Being a 7 time all pro cant be overlooked.
I think had he played 3 maybe 4 more seasons, he would've been a 1st ballot HOF for sure, I think he'll make it someday regardless.
He is your prototype LB you want!🔥🤟🏼 can do everything at an elite level 🔥🔥
One of the best to ever do it and my favorite LB past or present. 20 tackle game as a rookie 💀💀💀
Man his story on his upbringing too, legendary player. Inspired me to play linebacker and football in general
We will NEVER forget P. Willis #BEAST And N. Bowman ! 1 - Two Combo
Patrick Willis was a beast for the 49ers out of ole miss to bad he retired early I wish he would played a few more years
Love this guy game.
I love me some P. Willis. He is 1 of the only 2 jersey's I own (Kittle being the other). But I did like seeing the snippets of Justin Smith (Cowboy), he was such a great free agent pick up for us.
As an Ole Miss fan, I watched an unknown Patrick Willis become a 2x All American. Being a star in college doesn’t mean a player will be a star in the pros. PW wasn’t just a star, he was an NFL superstar. He played his last few seasons with a foot injury until it go so bad he couldn’t put off the surgery any longer. Instead of missing an entire season while his foot healed, he opted to retire. There’s no doubt that PW had NOT reached his peak when he retired.
What took you guys so long… my fav linebacker ever. Was so dope watching him vs ray in the Super Bowl. Cheat code in madden too
HOFer!!!!! FINALLY! IT really was a privilege to watch him play his entire career. Thank you Patrick.
Congrats P. Willis!!!

Big Congratulations To Cous, on his Hall Of Fame entry, Go Patrick Go !!💚
Patrick Willis and Navarro Bowman was the police 🚔 incredible 1-2 punch 👊🏾
A living legend, P WILLIS 52!!
Healthy Navarro bowman and Patrick Willis were one of my favorite LB duos to ever play and now 49ers have a pretty good duo in Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw
Miss Patrick Willis I hope I get to meet him one day I have his jersey i remember watching play for the first time in candlestick park in the 6th grade beat time of my life
Patrick Willis is one of the best middle linebackers of his time in the NFL. He was coached by the great Mike Singletary who mentored him how to play the middle linebacker position. His career was cut short by retirement after 8 seasons in the NFL.
Miss him which he was still playing retire to early great 49ers a legend in his short time.
Has to be in the top 10 of greatest linebackers and that's saying a lot
Personally here are who I think are the top 10 linebackers in NFL history with some honorable mentions:
5 honorable mentions:
Derrick Thomas
Terrell Suggs
Jack Ham
Kevin Greene
Luke Kuechly
10. Sam Huff
9. Chuck Bednarik
8. Junior Seau
7. Ray Nitschke
6. Derrick Brooks
5. Mike Singletary
4. Jack Lambert
3. Dick Butkus
2. Ray Lewis
1. Lawrence Taylor
@@LiamDeegeyou forgot Patrick Willis on your list. He's easily better than all your honorable mentions. He's better than everyone in your 6-10. And an argument could certainly be made that he could slide in past Singletary and Lambert to be number 4 or 5. The only thing Willis has going against him is longevity. During the time he played, I'd say no one but LT actually played better.
Yessss💪🏾💯
I'm a Lions fan and Patrick Willis is my 2nd favorite player ever. I'd tune into 49ers games and watch Willis, he was among the greatest sideline to sideline hardest hitting tackling machines to ever roam the field. Because of his smash mouth style his pass coverage ability goes underrated. I hope he doesn't have to wait for Canton.
