Kush Lungs spawn camping or you'll get hosed before even damaging it from the inside bf2 2005 and this one are completely different and alot of people don't seem to understand that
Except in Free Radicals Battlefront 3 the hangars were to scale and had more detailed interiors, im not against having no ship boarding in this version of BF2, but its fully possible and was nearly done

Are you kidding me? As the death star blows up, she looks more shocked than the two guys behind her, then she instantly changes expression and basically tells the guys to stop crying. It's either bad animations or bad writing, or both.
@Kane She changes expression real fast because she realized that even though the Death Star got destroyed they still had to do their job and did not have time to soak about it and as leader of the squad she had to show leadership. Although I do agree the animation's are lacking compared to the realistic look they gave her so I guess most of the budget went into the graphics and less on the animations.
Kane Are you...? It makes perfect sense. She was in shock and was thrown off by it, her quick attitude change was because of her realising that she needed to get her head back in the game and keep fighting. She's a leader so naturally she told the others to deal with it and keep going too. It's not like she's just going to say nothing.

the flight combat has been improved by so much, it was amazing on the Beta. can't wait till the full version comes out man. great video!

I don’t like how easy it was for iden to escape. Like, the rebels locked her with all her Armor and gadgets and communicators?

No they just cut through it. Obviously they didn't show the entire gameplay footage, EA just wanted to show off the different styles of gameplay. So they showed a short clip of where you can play as the droid, where you presumably find the access codes to unlock the cell, then skipped mid-way to the part after you already unlock the cell, and Iden has reached the Rebel's barracks room so that now you can see what gameplay is like playing as Iden as a trooper.

This has the potential to be one of the best Star Wars games of all time.

This really looks awesome, the space scene were you fly through all that debris is just incredibly well done. From sound to graphics n so far gameplay from what I played in the demo this is looking like game of the year material, can't wait.

There actually was thought put into it, in a developer video they mentioned the empire dosnt humanise their droids, which is clear if you watch the movies and other material. Its always been thengood guys that humanise droids, even the seperatist treated droids like tools, battle droids especially from how they talked to astromechs in the clone wars

pawn4money well these first three mission are about 2 hours combined so I would have to disagree with you in that
pawn4money also it's made by a different studio than dice same with space battles
Darth Cerebus How is he another "generic I hate this because it's new loser"? If he has valid points on why it might be bad then he can explain all he wants. Plus, it is made by DICE and published by EA (the laughing stock of the video game developer world). It looks good and I played the BETA and so far, it plays good. But because of loot boxes and EA, it will be another unfinished game like the last battlefront that was published by EA.
The one man army stuff is kind of annoying but it looks alright, just wish there were some more npc special forces fellow troopers at your side. Seems like it’s just you alone running around slaying millions of rebels without challenge.

She is a elite trooper, if you would set a American elite solider in a prison of some rebels that just got into service you would be a one man army for them
In fairness, Inferno squad is a small group of specialized agents. In the Inferno squad book, Iden barely engages in large battles but rather does smaller and more complex missions.

Brendan yeah i agree, i feel like the campaign will be “meh”. And plus i dont see whats so badass about the inferno squad. Wish they didnt look like a bunch of red painted tie-fighter pilots.

The accuracy has been amazing so far.
I wouldn't get your hopes up. "Look alive agents, we can grieve later. Right now we need to move.." I can already tell the writing is cheesy and mediocre like the new Star wars movies haha. I'm sure the gameplay will be fine but not looking forward to the cut-scenes of another "strong female lead" acting like a hard ass.
What would you say instead? Just curious
sometimes cheesy writing is the most accurate. sorta like griping about dying soldiers telling their comrades to tell their families they love them; dying wishes, etc; its cause it actually happens

I’d prefer it if it didn’t go down the path of Force Unleashed. I want Iden to remain evil through the end of the game
That'd probably mean she will have to die at the end and that the single-player campaign mission will fail. I'm not saying I don't want that, but I wonder if the developers will be worried about having players investing hours in a mission doomed to fail. Of course, if the story is good, the success of the mission is irrelevant.

misterjdog I'm definitely excited to get to play as an Imperial who still buys into their propaganda. I just wonder how and if that attitude will change during the story, since there is no way they'll portray the Empire in a positive light, nor should they.

the droid segment and the blast door closing when you shoot the controls is cool, but neither of them will go beyond the singleplayer.

Yeah, that kind of attention to detail is inspiring. Hopefully the rest of the singleplayer is made to the same level of quality. And, even more, I hope features like that are in the multiplayer - similar to some of the interactive features around the maps in Battlefield 4.
I've been playing the classic #Battlefront2 in anticipation for this one. I missed out on the beta, so I can't wait to play it!
Trust me when this comes out it'll be a good change of pace from the classic even though a good few mods make the classic pretty fucking awesome.

I just wish they had given Inferno Squad Tie Defenders rather than standard Ties.
Buttons Button I agree, TIE Defenders are sick as hell, not to mention fitting for an elite squad.
You know, their armor actually makes sense. I always found it strange that they wear pilot outfits, but now it makes perfect sense, since they use the same suit both for flying in TIE Fighters and as a trooper on the ground, so it's like a hybrid of the two. Fit both for space and ground combat.

I'm glad to see a campaign where you play as the Empire against the Rebel bad guys.
*facepalm* ever heard of the ORIGINAL Battlefront games? And the Rebels aren't the bad guys...
He means that they're portraying the rebels as the "bad guys" in this game, only speaking of the atrocities they've commited, of the chaos they've caused, etc. And In the original battlefront game the 501st acknowledges that they're doing some fucked up shit. Empire here thinks its justified.
Although, what's wrong with being the good guy once in awhile? It seems as if we've starting to humanize the bad guys in a variety of movies and/or games. The problem is...you're still murdering the good guys on your path to self discovery. I don't mind a good old fashion game where you start out as a foot soldier and move your way up the ranks while witnessing some cool moments in history. But that's just me. Being Dark every once in a while is fun too.

It seems like EA is listening to the feedback from battlefront 1, The only problem seems to be linking progression to lootboxes. Which compared to paid DLC is the lesser of the two evils. If scrap was more easily obtained, or currency it wouldn't matter that much. I loved that beta, especially going in first person inside vehicles. I hope it has more staying power than the original. #Battlefront2

The acquisition of credits and scrap was intentionally capped in the beta. It will be much easier to get them in the full game
