Yeah but it's a bit more lore accurate; the Emperor didn't think much of lightsaber combat. He preferred to use the Force. And it distinguishes him in terms of playstyle from Vader, the other Original Trilogy Sith, whose primary weapon is his saber.

LimitedTime they said after all the dlc is released and there are enough character to have canon battles, but that's too long, and unacceptable. The full game should be the full experience, dlc should always be a bonus.
You can go now. I've pre-ordered the game as well and as someone who played the original BFII a lot as a kid, I'm not disappointed really in anyway. Plus they've even balanced the crate system. If you don't like the game you don't need to try to ruin someone else's enjoyment.

I remember the psp game, BF Renegade Squadron, and it had some awesome concept art images. They were great, and showed awesome battles that were very diferent to the real game. Now, this game is just like those images, maybe better. Incredible battles full of life, awesome graphics and so accurate to the movies :')

QUESTION! we'll use 2:16 as an example. I played the BETA on PS4 and I couldn't get the crosshair to move like that for the ships? It would make hitting targets so much more fun, engaging and much easier and I couldn't figure it out. Is it only on PC that you're able to do this? or is there an option setting I missed?
Listen very carefully at 2:28-2:30you can hear a sound that sounds very similar to the sound you’d hear when you’d complete a objective from the original Battlefront 2.
Even though it's different, obviously, this actually FEELS like a Battlefront game. I can see the framework of the original Battlefronts at the core of this; couldn't say that for the first Dice/EA Battlefront. But I am super excited about it for this one!
