When you sell stuff on their market you give apple and google a share of the money, what fortnite did was go against their ToS and let mobile users go directly to their store to buy the v-bucks, this avoids apple and google's share on the market. So what did they do, they removed it.
When I got to the mission where you have to revive other players I gave up because I was playing alone and you can respawn instantly, so basically you would either have to find someone who will let you revive them or follow people around hoping they don't instantly respawn so you can revive them

I mean it is possible for annual release games to be different enough to justify the 60$ price tag. Take Codemasters' f1 games (maybe a little biased) every year they work on the physics and it is frequently noticeably better new stuff the community actually wants is added to the career modes and recently there has been a focus on the online stuffs as well. Yes it is buggy and never perfect, but always a noticeable and meaningful improvement. EA just sucks and the only games I buy from them are the Star Wars games because I can't not😞

There's something that irks me when they use Falcon, who's clearly mid-30's+, for videos that are based in complaining about things that are also clearly directed towards an audience 20 years younger than him. The sarcastic voices and trendy words from a different era don't make it better. I don't know why they moved him into that realm, in the past year or so, when he was the one covering more mature stories. No matter what he does to relate to the target audience, he still sounds his age and it's just annoying. It basically sounds like a way grown man trying too hard to fit in with the kids.

The flood thing kinda happened to my family once. Where I live in australia the rain got so bad one night that our house flooded, there was atleast 6 inches of water all throughout the house. While my father and I were trying to block water coming in and throw the water out my brother was in the same room playing world of warcraft. We were screaming at him to get off the computer and help but he flat out refused, just sitting there with the cords lifted up onto his desk because the deathwing raid was somehow more important.
Fortnite was removed because they broke their contract with Apple. Apple is not the bad guy in that case. The follow up move of banning all Unreal development work on Apple products was a step to far, but the courts made them back off on that. I live in China and I’m a teacher, also a gamer. I have to say the thing is not ideal but it’s a way to do that. My students literally don’t have any other hobbies other than mobile gaming and tiktok, they don’t go outside and hangout with friends, they don’t do sports, and they have infinite numbers of homework to do. Most parents in China needs to go out and work,both of them, that means nobody can take care of their children. Big cities like Shanghai we normally work overtime, if you don’t do something limit the kids, nobody can stop them. Now they have limited playing time and they can’t play games after 10pm. If you do some research. You will hear a lot of news about kids here “accidentally” used all their parents’ saving in a game in the past. Lots of parents here don’t have any idea how e-transfer works meanwhile it is so easy here, they also don’t know how to parenting, ignorance and lack of education. So even its a lazy way. It solve the problem. Nothing is easy when there’s 14 billion people. That means even there is 1 person in 100 people doing silly things, we still have 14million stupid people to deal with...the country is still developing, long long way to go...and so far I don’t see a better way.

Where I live in australia the rain got so bad one night that our house flooded, there was atleast 6 inches of water all throughout the house. We were screaming at him to get off the computer and help but he flat out refused, just sitting there with the cords lifted up onto his desk because the deathwing raid was somehow more important.

The follow up move of banning all Unreal development work on Apple products was a step to far, but the courts made them back off on that. I live in China and I’m a teacher, also a gamer. I have to say the thing is not ideal but it’s a way to do that. My students literally don’t have any other hobbies other than mobile gaming and tiktok, they don’t go outside and hangout with friends, they don’t do sports, and they have infinite numbers of homework to do. Most parents in China needs to go out and work,both of them, that means nobody can take care of their children. Big cities like Shanghai we normally work overtime, if you don’t do something limit the kids, nobody can stop them. Now they have limited playing time and they can’t play games after 10pm. If you do some research. You will hear a lot of news about kids here “accidentally” used all their parents’ saving in a game in the past. Lots of parents here don’t have any idea how e-transfer works meanwhile it is so easy here, they also don’t know how to parenting, ignorance and lack of education. So even its a lazy way. It solve the problem. Nothing is easy when there’s 14 billion people. That means even there is 1 person in 100 people doing silly things, we still have 14million stupid people to deal with...the country is still developing, long long way to go...and so far I don’t see a better way.
