X Stitch/Criss Cross Stitch Tutorial

- **CORRECTION**
I keep saying "chain space" and that is incorrect. I meant to say just "chain." When working at the end of the single crochet row, you will work a single crochet into the chain itself. So sorry for the mistake.
Learn how to make this easy 2 row repeat X Stitch blanket or it is also called the Criss Cross Stitch. It is easy enough that a beginner can master it in no time! This stitch can be used in many different items from baby blankets to throw blankets to even scarves. I hope you have as much fun making your project as I did mine.

Very beautiful blanket, love the x pattern great texture. Thank you for your tutorials.
I love ❤️ the x stitch I am currently doing a Poncho with the x-stitch. Thanks for sharing.
You are very welcome. I would love to see it when you are finished!
Such a fun stitch to do and it makes a pretty baby blanket. Thank you for the tutorial. I would love to see how you did the border. It is beautiful.
Yes! I will do a video on the border soon.
I’m new to your channel, but not to crocheting. My maternal grandmother taught me the basics when I was 10 years old and I’ve been crocheting ever since. So when I saw your tutorial on this stitch, I had to make it. I loved how well to you taught your tutorials too.
I’m currently using this pattern to make a baby blanket in “I Love This Yarn” by Hobby Lobby in Lemon Ice and it’s working up beautifully.
I’m looking forward to more of your channel’s tutorials.
Whenever I do this stitch I was taught to go through the front to make the cross over stitch. Can it be done that way also
