Kudos for being one of the few people who wear gloves when demonstrating firearms cleaning. I am 70 and have had Parkinson’s Disease for almost 10 years. Most recent research shows a connection between exposure to chemicals and Parkinson’s Disease. Years of exposure to cleaning chemicals, both for firearms and household use, can lead to this disease. Please do what this smart gentleman does and wear heavy-duty nitrile gloves and, preferably, a respirator if you are going to be using spray-on cleaners and lubricants. Younger people are getting this disease. Be smart.
I seen you post this on another video I seen from another channel. I am always appreciative to see people selflessly help people . Thank you for your information. I really hope alot of people see you comment and listen . Stay safe people. And thank you again good sir.
I don't know if you'll ever see this? Your video is over a year old, current date is 10/24. I must say, this is one of the best cleaning videos I've ever seen! You take your time explain everything and it's a very close up video so you can see everything. Awesome job!!!
I bought a brand new mossberg 500 and I’ve shot well over 1000 rounds through it and haven’t cleaned it yet so I’m getting around to it I feel you I know it’s going to be filthy
how do you get the bolt past that little hook part on the side of the reciever when re assembling.?? it gets caught up when i try. all the videos i see cut away when it is so far in then picks up again when the bolt is all the way in.
I watched this video in its entirety before attempting to teardown and clean mine. This part looked a little tricky. No one answered your question. Were you able to figure it out? If so, could you provide some info? Thanks.

Great video. Needed something simple like this. Haven’t cleaned my 590a1 in 1000+ rounds because I didn’t have a good tutorial to follow.
