Love Vitamix and I owe it all to Blending With Henry. Using my Vitamix to make my green smoothies (with less foam, also thanks to Henry) to help me stay healthy during all this. Tho the stress might get me lol.
Cashew milk in the Vitamix is incredible! I add honey or erthyritol/monk fruit, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. It’s amazing on it’s own and it’s wonderful in Chai tea!
LOVE Cashew Milk (and you Henry)! No one makes better Vitamix Videos - so much ORIGINAL content, and so well thought out and produced! Now we can count on the copy cat to do a cashew milk video because you did. 😉
I just made this this evening. Cashews soaked for 6hrs and the 64oz jar was used. I made a mistake and only blended for 45sec so tomorrow morning milk will get another blend waiting for Moccamaster coffee and our local roaster beans. Always grind fresh right before brewing.
Wow! This is fantastic, as using nuts to creamy up your coffee will not have the unfortunate and horrible side affect of jacking your blood sugar! It's ingenious! Thank you!
Hi Henry. As a lactose intolerant person I have been using my beloved Vitamix to make cashew milk since receiving my beloved Vitamix for my birthday about a year ago.. I like the cashew milk so much better in my coffee than the lactose free milk I had been using. It is just SO creamy and delicious. I actually do use a few dates and some vanilla...and I bought a couple of glass milk containers like yours which keeps the milk fresh and delicious. Thank you for continuing to make your inspiring videos!
Thank you so much Jane for your feedback. Yep that's why I wanted viewers to know that adding dates and vanilla to the mix is always a great thing. Maybe in a later video I will provide more details and ideas on how to flavor up Cashew Milk for standard drinking as well as coffee creamers and such. I always love seeing your posts! 😍
Hi Kelly! Thank you so much for your kind feedback. I do not currently have a recipe book but I have plans in the works. Once that happens I will make an announcement. 😊
Do you have a video on making Oat milk in the Vitamix? I keep seeing videos that through the water away. I rarely see you throw anything away and would like to see yours if you have one.
I haven't tried the oat milk as of yet. That's definitely on the roster for sure. It depends on the type of ingredient as to whether the milk is strained or not. In the case of Cashews you don't strain the milk but with Almonds you would strain the milk if you don't want to consume the fiber. There's a great deal more fats in cashews so you basically get pure milk or cream. With Almonds it's almost all fiber so it needs to be strained to be drinkable as dairy-based milk. Hope that helps. 😊
Enjoying your videos Henry. My biggest question: is there honestly no difference in texture of the food between the taller classic containers and the new shorter/wider ones? Some other reviews say you need the tall classic to get the right vortex which makes things creamy and velvety. Thanks
Hi James! There's 100% no difference in blend quality between the Vitamix 64oz tall container and their low profile wide 64oz container. In terms of versatility the tall container is more versatile because you can make recipes for 1 or 2 people since it's narrow at the bottom. The wider container requires more ingredients and cannot blend efficiently unless the blades are fully covered.
Blending With Henry Thanks Henry! You do read a lot of opinions online so it’s good to hear from someone who’s had experience with both. My next question is, if I want the features of the A3500, but want a more narrow container like the tall classic 64oz one, will the 48oz wet container for the smart series be the same as that (just less tall)? and is there any difference between the low profile 64oz and the 48oz in terms of quality of blending? Thanks!
always bought my cashew and almond milk but seeing this want to make my own not sure if i save money on it, i live in denmark everything already very expensive
Understandable about the questionable cost savings making your own plant-based milk, but I will say that making your own milk guarantees that you know what you're putting in it. Store-bought still has preservatives and stabilizers.
Question. Does the Vitamix personal blender have all metal drive? And do you know any other personal blenders that do? Thanks. Oster full size blenders all have it but their personal ones I'm not sure.
Not sure about other brands but Vitamix Personal blenders use the same commercial-grade gear-driven motor (just lower power) as their full-sized counterparts.
Great video (as usual). I'd have to go with the Clean Lean--I hate stevia. And I give a nod to Dobie Gray when I watch your videos--"the original is still the greatest." 😉
@@HotVoodooWitch Thanks for sharing that. I love classic performances. I may sing more in future videos. I perform the National Anthem at the Oakland A's games every season.

I've watched quite a few of your really helpful videos now, but the way you chuckle and say "you guys" still makes me smile every time :-).
Haha thank you. I treat my viewers like we're all in the kitchen together making the recipe. I appreciate you supporting me!
I love the cashew milk, I never thought of add chocolate to it. I never thought about using it in my coffee! Thank you, Henry 😀
Hi Rhonda! I wanted to bring awareness to many things we can do with cashew milk. Often it's used for baking as well. Thanks for watching!
Freeze it in ice cube tray and then add it to the vitamix Ice cream recipes too. Really creamy ice cream, yum!
I've always just made smoothies in my Vitamix but you inspired me to try something new. Looks easy and delicious

Nice vitamix! I wish it came in my kitchen color Apple Green
I'm hoping Vitamix offers more exclusive online colors as well. Thanks for watching!
Henry...Nice Presentation ❗ 😊 ❤
Thanks so much Barbara! Trying to give you guys the best while we're all at home through this challenging time. 😍
Got MINE today Can’t wait to get it in my hot little hands. This is gonna be my first recipe
Hope you enjoy
I always have trouble opening my blending cup as well...haha! I love homemade cashew milk...it's my absolute favorite milk!
Amazing you don’t have to strain it. 😀

Can you purchase the Vitamix blending cup for every blender they make, or does it only come with certain Vitamix’s? Thank you Mr. Henry 👍🏻😊
Sorry for the extremely slow reply Nicki. The 20oz blending cup only works with the Vitamix Ascent and Vitamix Venturist machines.
@@BlendingWithHenry Totally ok! Thank you for the reply. I appreciate it. Love your videos ❤️👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks, Henry. How long can the cashew milk stay in the refrigerator?
Fresh-made Cashew milk last 4-5 days maximum in the refrigerator.
@@BlendingWithHenry Thank you!

Hey Henry. Do you need to roast the cashews first?
No, you buy the cashews raw and just soak them in water for a minimum of two hours , but overnight will give you a much smoother, less chalky texture.
How long does it last in the fridge?
Since there are no preservatives the milk will last 3-5 days.
great
