- My method of attaching the Mosko Reckless 80 onto the KTM 790 R. This particular method has worked great and proved to be bullet proof in all sorts or terrain.
I love reading all the comments, its as if people don't actually pay attention to what you say, then apparently do not actually read the other comments either :). People are lazy these days, I am surprised someone hasn't just asked you to come out and install these for them...heck, ride the bike for them and send them the video, and be sure it is edited to some music of their bike looking cool while you're at it. Its a Friday of a long week, rant over, sorry. Thanks for the great and informative content, looking forward to more, my 890R comes in January, decision to go with the KTM over other options was made easier by watching videos like yours!
I was gonna go with a outback pannier rack system but they’re back ordered, looked on the mosko website they’re sold out so I’ll just wait. Gonna go with this style set up. It just makes more sense. Thanks for the video!
For those curious about the rear luggage rack, in the video he calls it a “Prerun” rack when it is actually “Perun” from Perun Moto. That will help if searching for one.
thanks for this! I am one of the idiots that looped the R80 dry bags straps over on top since I've had them 🤦🏻♂️
Thank you for the video. Very informative. I have a much better feel now for how those bags would work on my 790R.
Great vid thanks for the time making it , now im sure on the brand im getting but not sure on the size i need 40 or 80 , will have to work out exactly what im taking and lay it out ... cheers 👍🏼🇦🇺
great vid mate.
I like your set up. Thinking about getting the Mosko Moto for my KTM 890 Adventure also. I was thinking about removing the side covers and installing a Perunmoto luggage rail and tube on each side for extra fuel cannisters or tools.
Very straight forward on how to mount the R80 and bags and nice video. I wrap then strap some turns on the pass.pegs just to ge less movements (what I guess), You think it's fine with just one wrap around?
Thanks for video! Is it possible to pull the reckless system more backward on the Perun plate so 2 people can sit? Have a need to sometimes take pillion with me. Thanks, cheers 👍
Great video, thnx for posting. Question: How are the bags protected form the exhaust heat?
Thanks for the vid . Can you still wear a camelbak with the rack in that position? I'd be using the stock rack
Nice vid! Any issues without running a heat shield on the muffler?
Thanks for the video! Did you not need the heat shield on your exhaust pipe? Can you please share a link to where to purchase your floor jack? Thank you!
Did you decide not to use the heat shield? I didn't see it in the video. I have the same bike and the same luggage, btw and love how they work. Cheers
Got a question, well had 2 but I saw the answer reading the replies about exhaust heat...but my other question is what handguards did you go with?
Unrelated to the bags , but what tires are those and how do they perform overall?
I like your bracket on the left side. Does anyone make anything like that for someone with less fabrication skills?
Nice and easy set-up. sits relatively far forward, which is good for weight distribution. Could you mount this system without the rear luggage rack? I see the bags barely touch the rack, but you use it to tie it down.
Enjoyed the vid. I’ll be pulling the trigger on a Reckless 80 once we’re beyond the pandemic-related closures, and back at trip planning. Do you have a tent already packed in this setup? What kind? Also, how do you like that motorcycle jack? Which is it? Thanks for putting up the vid!
