Nice review! Thanks! A point: the side straps are used to pull the roll tops down. That is, the roll top is not buckle to themselves, but instead they snapped to the side straps. The side straps are actually reversed on each side so liners can be swapped back a forth. You can see this much better on the R80 pictures on the Mosko site.
Hi Mike. I just ordered the Reckless 40 with the 22l Stinger last night and then stumbled across this video today. You have certainly put my mind at ease about switching from 8l to 22l top bag. Mosko is actually developing an R60, but it won't be out until 2024. Thank you for your review!!
Great informative vid. I use and love the Mosko offset panniers for my 890AdvR when I do BDR’s and I love it. Superior design, construction, quality and support. I reserve my 300 Rally for galavanting around the Philippines. I did purchase a reckless 40 for my 500EXC but have yet to use it. Your vid went a long way in encouraging me to make it happen.
Great review of the Mosko stuff.. and good to see they gave you some discount on the second order. Bad luck on losing the first lot. Thanks for taking the time to share
Nice review of Mosko Moto. I just recently switched from the Tusk bags to these as well and initially very pleased with much better functionality. But, on my first adventure out with camping gear the beaver tail that held the 22 bag tore at the seam rendering the beaver tail totally useless. ROK Straps saved the ride at that point, never leave home without them, finished approx 600 miles. Mosko Moto is currently in the process of taking care of my issue. I love the Woodland color on my red Rally 300
Hey Mike just thought I'd weird you out cus I just watched this video and got weirded out myself haha. Clicked on the video cus it was a mosko moto review then realized you have the exact same name as me (Mike a Hernandez). I have the version 1 reckless 40 with a 22 stinger. Mosko has helped me replace a bag that got stolen from my car. And I ate that same Mnt house breakfast skillet this morning while camping 😂.
Great review Mike, and that Workhorse is looking great as well, rare color. For sure it's nice to have a stove to actually cook on, that adds to the good feeling of beeing out there. Definitely a sub, curious on what you come up with.
Mosko is a great company! I had Tusk pannier racks and the Scout 25 setup on my Rally, but I bought an Africa Twin and put a Scout 25 setup on that for longer trips. I stripped the racks off of the Rally so I can do more local off-road stuff, but I got a Reckless 40 just in case. 👍🏻
Nice overview. I will point out that you still do not have the straps attached correctly. Those top/bottom straps on each leg plug into the roll-top clips of the dry bag and function to snug the bag into the leg holster. In other words, the roll-top on the dry bag is held closed by being attached to the those straps on the leg of the harness.
Hey Mike, great stuff! I got the 300 Rally and Reckless 40 as well. About to install now. Did you mount the saddle bags using the wide or the narrow setup?
@@TheZakkmylde Hello, worked out well. I used the narrow setting. Still have’t ridden the bike as it’s winter here in Finland. The leg bag front straps I attached to the frame. Only concern is if the right side strap will melt as it’s close to the exhaust.
Hey Mike, I have a Nomax bag for my Rally. Unfortunately I don't know where to run my strap for the harness. Could you tell me where you ran your strap for the Pico bag? The only methods of running it make me worried about wearing the nearby tubing. Cheers, Curtis

Mosko's product videos show them both ways.

Thank you!
Camp chair! Just got a “one Tigris” micro chair and it’s great

Those are the perfect size for the bike. My buddy setup the 80l set and it’s just way too big. Beautiful camping spot.
Agreed!

Because of the story’s backing there customers is why I went with The reckless 40 and bunch of other gear from Mosko Moto
Just saw another video made by mosko. They recommend to turn the 22 stinger long ways. And turn the beaver tail aswell.

Niiiice!
Good presentation. Personally, I could do without the music, but different people will have different thoughts on that.

Oh I see what you are saying.
I vote for more Moto videos!

@Mike A Hernandez do you recall the setup on the R40? Did you use the wide or the narrow mounting option? Just got mine and going to put them on
Aww man I can remember off the top of my head, sorry!

Hey how did it work out. I have a 300L and can’t decide what to get. Is the 40 too big or too small ect?

I have the 300L
And yoshi pipe. Can’t see what you did to prevent heat burning. Or other side do you need anything to prevent bag into wheel area ?

Hi Mike, can you fit the duffle 30l bag on the reckless please?
The 40 fits nicely on the Rally, especially with the addition of the Stinger 22. Good stuff.
