I have that saw and the dewalt. The rubi to heavy to move around good for tiles bigger then 2 ft. But smaller then 2 ft. The dewalt The best saw to have 2400. Now the 3600 good to for bigger tiles. But nothing beats the dewalt faster and lite.
I'm shocked that you burn up blades so fast. I used blades that will endure 250,000 SQ ft before I swap it out. You say no way? Look into adding water soluble oil to your water. Keeps everything cool and lubricated. After 35 years of setting tile...you learn a few things. I also only use Montolit DNA blades.
Hey I have a problem with my rubi, the cut moves about n 8th of a inch from the end to me, I’ve checked everything, it doesn’t have to do with the blade because I can see the movement when I push it. I just got it! Help thank you🙏🏽
The difference is about $2,500 dollars 😅 in all honesty sometimes all you need is a grinder and a manual tile cutter 😮 but you can also spent $5k and get all montolit wet saw, manual cutter 36” and a set of grinder blades from them and be ready for any shower
I just got this saw and what a disappointment is sucks out of the box it is not cutting straight like 1/4 to 0 if anything all see if this place can take it back this sucks even though it’s design for a large platform tile it’s too narrow water splashes all over I was soaking wet just for one piece of tile that needed to be cut

What u want is an IQ tile saw
Rubi is a good brand, good for you investing in such a good saw.
Love your content, you really help me as a young contractor🙌🏽

Good stuff 👍
We use this wet saw for marble and travertine. But not for porcelain tile it’s wasted of time get a Sigma tile cutter
Pumping out the content. Good work man !

Same issue have u found a fix
How do you support a tile that hangs off the deck?
Why is this better than the dewalt? Also looks like it’s rusting out
I wonder how this compares to the montolit wetsaw that's similar to this, both are great companies.

That is weird cause I used dewalt blades all the time. I have done a dozen bathrooms with one blade.

Nice work. But you young guys set a saw bench to finish the edge that bending over all day kills my back watching lol.
Definitely was not ready for that
Ordered this saw, motor was burned out. they sent a new one, 20 cuts later it burned out.... quality control must not exist on these motors.
