Dude. PLEASE do all of the albums from album 1 through their career. Possibly the most consistent band of there generation.
They really do set a good atmospheric vibe even though they are also a heavier band at times. That's definitely The Cure and their influence on them

Fully agree. Sonically, Terry Date and Deftones created a vibey, cinematic, epic, somewhat majestic sound with Ohms. This song in particular is a prime example of that. It’s loud and epic while also having the ability to send you into a different dimension when it goes into the blistering chorus part from 1:57 - 2:15, which is a perfect balance between heavy and chilled, achieving both simultaneously. Don’t even get me started on how insane 3:20 - 4:20 is and the build up the band generates to then explode into another hook... it’s a great track.

I know I’m late at watching this but this is my favorite song out of the whole album. This album wasn’t that bad but not the best album though.
Deftones makes sexy music but they don't make songs about sex.
_Mateus Langley Chino definitely references sex a lot in his lyrics, just less in recent albums
