No Back To School (mini maggit)? There is an interesting story behind pink maggit and mini maggit. Don’t quote me on this but I think some higher ups really liked pink maggit and told them to make it more radio friendly and they made mini maggit. The verses in that song are a big FU to the big wigs that wanted them to do that. I might be talking out of my a$$ here but I thought I read or saw that somewhere.
You're absolutely right. Studios wanted a lighter tone Pink maggit. They liked the catchy guitars but they find the lyrics too dark. Deftones said its OK we'll do it. They composed the lyrics for Back to school in 30 minutes improvising all the lines and took the studios money with their middle finger up. I love the band even more since that.

Which is actually a continuous part of pinkaggit ,actually back to school was made because the record company.made them.write a "rap/rock song" version of this and Chino wrote it like an hour and the record company loves it ,but Chino hates it lol just quick facts
