    I love it when strong players show how to set up the dummy. Thanks for this Chris.

    Good info, including examples of 4f after -1 moves. With so many characters & moves, I'd have no idea.
    Hope to get online to work someday to try that in vs. Thanks for the concise vid.

    Another great bit of info re combo-ing off the counter.
    Still don't know what constitutes a counter vs a punish and what benefits either status grants you 😅😅

    • @YvngGuilty
      @YvngGuilty Рік тому +2

      Someone correct me if I’m wrong but afaik, a counter hit is when you hit an opponent during their startup frames of any attack. Punish is when they get hit during recovery frames. As the video mentioned if you land a counter hit with a jab you could use a medium attack. With punish counters you could use heavy attacks into a heavy version of a special (in most cases) since a punish counter leaves them even more negative.

    Thanks Chris, was wondering what to do on defense against their - & plus frames, can you go vids on all the important - & + frames Defense/Offense?
    Also is there a list somewhere of what move everyone is -1 and can strike/throw from? I really want to drill this down and be able to recognise it

    • @EvilCoffeeInc
      @EvilCoffeeInc Рік тому +1

      FAT has all the frame data in an easy to read table. It has a phone app too which I find nice to have while practicing. I'd link it but UA-cam will filter my reply, it's easy to find.

      @pradlark Рік тому +1

    • @Chris_F

  • @Flashlegz
    @Flashlegz Рік тому +1

    Just for my sanity (although in training mode it is true), you can be grabbed by the opponent on your wake up even if you are doing a 4 frame move because the throw can be meaty?

    • @Chris_F
      @Chris_F  Рік тому +1

      Yes, meaty throw beats wakeup buttons.

    • @Flashlegz
      @Flashlegz Рік тому

    • @Chris_F
      @Chris_F  Рік тому

      @Flashlegz I didn’t really play 4 but in 5 it was the opposite - throws would beat attacks if they connected on the same frame

    Hey can you tell me you button mapping for hitbox for classic controls. I recently started playing luke on hitbox but i am not sure where to put which button. Right now first two vertical buttons from left are mapped as HP and HK, then next two as LP and LK , next next two as MP and Mk and next two as Parry and DI
