Hey guys, how's it going? Chris Connor here and welcome to another episode of filmmaker reacts for my channel. Seat back, relax and lets study the filmmaking techniques as well as talk about what visual effects can be pulled of within after effects! This week we are reacting and taking a look at two LEAGUE OF LEGENDS cinematic trailers!

Please go and see "Worlds 2019 opening ceremony", which True Damage was on stage. it's just 9 minute show but it's the best concert I've ever seen. All the hologram stuff was viable to see with bare eyes.

They weren't holograms. It's a holographic technology, sure, but not a hologram. We have yet to invent those. They were *visible* live and not edited on live footage because it was light being cast onto a special material that kinda "stops" the light, allowing you to see something from the other side.

Chris!! I know that it doesn't really work with the whole filmmaker thing, but I'd love you to react to the live performance to this song! It was so damn cool, you're definitely in for a surprise and magic of modern technology.
Favorite music video would have to be Evelynn's concept video of Villain. Okay so the girl with the ring, the one that had Diva vibes, her name is Qiyana and she only has a short teaser video, this is the next time she got into screen time. Lore bit: she's an aspiring empress who started to act against their monarchy(stepping out of the Kingdom and learning about 3 elements she can master all at once. She thinks that since she can let water, grass and earth move as she pleases, she is worthy of the crown. She has 12 other sisters but she plans to get bloody to take the thrown if she needs to. Dude, you should see the live of this music videos. There were holograms mixed with singers!
In the clip, at the moment when Ekko with that different animation, when he rewinds you can see in the frames he goes through the entire video interacting with the characters.

Yeah, but Chris has a good kit and isn't overloaded as fuck, whereas Akshan has a random stealth and and a revive on his w which both don't fit in the champ design

As i said earlier they sometimes do cinematics just to a set of skins, all these different versions are just a skin of it's original character, ekko is still the young kid by default :)
I forgot to mention that you are an absolute chad my dude looking beefy but don't over do it, sometimes it does not look good when you are too much shredded.
I started Raid Shadow Legends because of Chris 7 months ago and I do not regret it. I love this game :) Thanks Chris

@@JT_Lich Yeah... only 2 years ago... Last year was 2nd KD/A, this year has been PENTAKILL (which the last album came out 7 years ago btw), so we MIGHT see TD next year, but I doubt it 'cause it didn't do as well as KD/A or PENTAKILL 😝

Another cool thing about this clip... when ekko finishes his second rap verse he glitches over all kind of places to the position of sitting on the stairs which can be noticed in 0.5 play speed... the details holy shit

The latest Apex Legends cinematics are reeeeeally dope, seriously ya gotta get back to them! And the one released recently has some good lore in it.
There are plenty to choose from, starting with the initial Launch Trailer then Seasons 2-11, you've seen 4 and 5 already.
Some of them have a continuous story, some don't, but it's still better to watch in order simply because if you jump straight into season 10 let's say, you won't know the characters introduced earlier.
There are also Stories from the Outlands, which tell a more in-depth background story of a single character, definitely worth checking out!

you should check out the 2021 worlds video "Burn it all down"(PVRIS), the animation is crazy
I don't know if you noticed during the rapping session solo where Ekko looks like chalk, (to me at least), but if you slow the video down to .25x speed and pause and play during transitions, some of the transitions are Ekko's face, but like Picasso'd or his body's 3d animation points dancing without him.
You should react to "A Night at the Inn" its one of my all time favorites and it does a really good job of creating realistic characters
Akali from K/DA went off and formed a side project in between working with her bandmates.
You should watch LoL Legends never die song. It's made like a puppet cartoon that are shot frame-by-frame with stop animation, I think you will really enjoy the style
