yea before the lockdown i was starved for some battle reports, but your team has given our weeks some fillers to our decomposing warhammer intensity cause now that we cant bring in our armies to the shop to battle, and no locals will battle us cause we crush their spirits beating them in a battle with 1 hand tied behind the back! so we are on the sidelines for now rooting on the ones to carry the torch of Sigmar himself!!!

Sisters of battle. I don’t think I’ve ever see a game with them which is sad because they are one of my favorite factions.

about 31:09 when you charged with Repentia, they have shield of faith so they have a 6+ inv and the 5+ FNP. might not have mattered but could have save one or two.

Yeah, Sisters have probably two of the best Transports in the game. Immolators have 12" heavy flamers, and Repressors have 6 firing points and 12 wounds. Also ram, but that's mostly just for lulz.
Putting competetiveness aside which I don't know enough about, I really liked the army compositions aesthetically.

i feel like i need to explain this to people, This is MWG they don't just play meta vs meta every godamn game. They use what they like for fun because its almost like its just a game... I personally have had to come to terms with not being able to play my meta AND have friends, why? Cuz I play Iron Hands, and unlike most of you other iron hand players I've been playing them since 98' long before they even had rules or a well fleshed out background story I had faith in the Iron. I know rogal dorn had the pain glove, but it seems like something silly the iron hands would do as well. I digress the point is I've had these black clad warriors with random cybernetic bits and lots of Techmarine backpacks LONG BEFORE the rules gave me anything for it.

If your going to try and use Martyrd lady, you shouldn't bring minimum strength squads. Without being valorous Heart, they are likely to be wiped out rather than wounded. And if your kitting characters for cqc, consider bloody rose.

The first and only time I've seen a Cyst in a battle, to be honest, I had forgotten the model existed.
Luca totally forgot about the 6+ inv from shield of faith so many times. Dont underestimate a 6+ inv

So the Sisters list was a bit wonky, I understand you're not going competitive but I figure I'd put my 2 cents in for anyone curious about how Sisters tend to play. So in your setup, the OoML isn't the best 'chapter tactic' to be using. Ideally you'd only ever use OoML with Junith Eruita. This list was built perfectly to have Argent Shroud(advance with no penalty) as the battalion and Valorous Heart as the Spearhead(Sisters benefit A LOT from combining Order Convictions). Repentia are generally only really good in Bloody Rose lists, Arco Flaggellantes are a better melee option for this particular setup. Imagifiers are almost 100% mandatory, and are absolutely worth cutting points in other areas. Immunity to rend-1(or 2 for VH) is fantastic. It's actually better protection from attack than a Rhino for less points for your retributors. Exorcists are always great but being immune to rend minus 2, plus having a 6+ FNP PLUS having access to a stratagem that ignores penalties to hit means that VH is almost always the way to go.
Obviously not super relevant to a friendly game but a lot of people don't know much about Sisters so I figured I'd give some hot tips.
I can second this opinion on Valorous Heart. It's pretty much the only way to go. Feel no pain, plus ignoring AP2 is too good. I'm also finding that playing larger point games, like 2000 pts and bringing a full brigade is extremely helpful for the command points. Sisters have a lot of cool stratagems and not having the CP to use them is pretty crippling. I'm also a big proponent of using Seraphim and Zephyrim. Sad to see none of them on the table :( Sky strike with power swords and inferno pistols is so good in conjunction with the stratagem they can get.

You questioned Superiors carrying plasma - they do often carry plasma pistols in the lore (like Miriya in Faith and Fire)
As an old school player of IG in 3rd edition, I don't understand what all the pre-game dice rolling and "command points" are for but seeing models bunched up so tight makes me grin.

I don't have my book with me, but I believe that you can also use a command point to bring any infantry unit in the trygon tunnel. Would the Trygon prime be better than a Tyranocyte?

Is there a reason to not use Repressors for the Sisters? They are not in the codex but are legal to use in a Sister army, even FAQ to have the act of faiths and all the stuff sisters get. The only reason to run Immolators instead is because they are cool fluff-wise, you do not have any or there is a rule about not using Forgeworld figures.
Which would make sense, but as a Sisters player these things are vital.
More like: local sister gets tentacled by tyranid
you can only shoot characters, when other characters are nearby when they have less than 10 wounds, meaning that when you tried to shoot the tyranid prime 1:05:26 you shouldn't be able too, but fun game anyways

Valorous Heart is by far the best order. With an Imagifier nearby, you ignore all AP -1 and AP -2. Modifiers attacks. You take Celestine and a Cannoness with the +1 invuln trait and you have infantry with perpetual 2+/4++/6+++ in cover. Give them the bonus where they shoot on a 5+ when they die, and they are more survivable than most troops in the game.
Bloody Rose is what's scoring high in tournaments.
Disagree, it helps them zero against mass small arms fire hordes. Bloody Rose Brigades for the win.

Chaos Faction Fluff question: Except Chaos "Influence" why there no other Way to corrupt someone for Chaos. Like Tzeentch why has he no way to modify someone to join Chaos or Nurgle a Virus or stuff to influence them to join. In a world with genmodified soldiers why is no one using diseases or genmods to make someone join there faction? wouldnt be to unrealistic to use other "not faith ways" for chaos or?(can be its a stupid question but i dont read Warhammer Books) - Yes the reason is i want a Sister Chaos Army

Just a comment about something said in the opening. There is absolutely nothing competitive about not taking advantage of regular rules provided in a new book (so, multiple detachments with various hive fleet traits). Anything can be explained away for fluff; say they're actually splinter fleets or special adaptations of your main fleet of preference that are purpose-grown for this particular conflict. See? Not mind-blowing but makes sense to most people. A smidge of creativity can make some fun list ideas more palatable. To each their own of course, but it's not quite accurate to call it "competitive" when you've just stated you're not going to use the army's or game's long-established inbuilt advantages to your... advantage... you know what I mean lol. I think MWG gets a little more grief than they deserve regarding this subject but when it comes to stuff like this, I don't understand the need to try to call something "competitive" when they don't know the first thing about it (or actively refuse to engage in that kind of play, which again is perfectly acceptable).

Not sure if it's been said but at about 34 minutes should the sisters have failed their deny? You rolled an 8 and they denied with a mericle dice to give them 9. However with shadow of the warp shouldn't it have been reduced to an 8 as well? Or am I missing something
Shadow of the Warp only applies a -1 penalty to enemy psychic tests, not DtW tests.

i'm not sure how that sacred rite interacts with act of faith (+3 to deny the witch). act of faith dice are always unmodified roll, while the sacred rite modifies the score..
just checked the codex on that rule. the act of faith 'die' is considered and unmodified role, not the result. for example the flyrant that rolled a 6 for Death Throes; Matt needed an unmodified role of a 6. A miracle die of 6 would count, but if he somehow had a +1 a miracle die of 5 wouldn't work. i hope that makes sense, this is a terrible example lol
these Termigaunts hit the target on a +5 because they Advanced !
so in the rules if you advanced a unit you cant use ranged combat so its only for close melee fights.

I get what you're saying about not mixing hive fleets cause you don't wanna power game, but the lore does support it. Yes different hive fleets destroy each other but they don't do it wastefully, the one that wins still takes traits from the defeated one along with its collected bio-mass. its not like...Oh they did shooting particularly well even though i swarmed their big buggos to death i guess i WONT take that bio-morph for my own big beasties. (looking at you spearhead of kronos :3)...Maybe being nit-picky but your logic of saying they wouldn't mix just strikes me as something the hive mind just wouldn't do. not taking the best traits from both would be a pretty big waste Just. my 2 cents :P
