I lived with a few people and we all kinda took care of a yard cat. There were a few times I’d go to feed her and she’d be out of food with no new bag. She wouldn’t meow or anything. She would just sit patiently by her dish, staring at me, waiting. And so, of course, I would immediately grab my keys, get in my car and drive ten minutes to the store to get a fresh bag of cat food. When I’d return, she’d be sitting patiently in the driveway, waiting for me. I think she understood that we went somewhere to get her food. I think she understood that we wouldn’t let her be hungry and she especially knew I would always come through. She knew I saw her. I miss her. She was my buddy. 🐾
Once I sent my sister to the store because I was having trouble walking (knee was bothering me). I told her Gracie girl would only eat flaky tuna, not grilled nor chunky nor pate. It had to be flaky tuna. She didn't bring back the right kind so I hoped Gracie might just make an exception this time but she gave me a pitiful look like "why me??" So I got in the car and hobbled to the kitty food section and got Gracie some flaky tuna. She waited patiently (til I got back) and ate it. The things we do for our little friends!
I am visual learner and I apply a visual picture or micro movie to everything I read or I am told. I have just visualized the entire incident. The “why Me” has me crying.😂
Food is a very serious thing to them, after all they do for us, and we can't even give them the food they were looking forward to... My cat makes it as clear as possible that he's mad at me, if he sees me in bed and he hasn't been given what he wanted. He bites my arm and runs off (before i can reach the spray bottle). Sometimes i have to make a 20 minute drive out to get the specific food he wants. Once he's fed he goes back to being his usual self. It's hard work being a cat, gotta show the proper appreciation.

I always had to feed her last because the others would nose her out of her own food so she already had a complex about being fed last. But that day she left the chunky tuna in the bowl and waited patiently until I got back with the proper food. Flaky tuna was all she ever ate!
@@derealized797 my kitty Sammy was very serious about meal time being ON TIME! Especially breakfast. Once I tried to sleep in, but it was the last time I did that because he straddled my ankle and peed on me through the covers!
I know the feeling, I used to go out for chicken strips and I usually got some for my Cat, one time I was out with my Mom and we stopped to have chicken and didn't bring him any, you never heard such pitiful meows and I'm gonna die body language, I ended going back to get him some. 🤣 my cat liked snacks-treats too he liked Sheba and those tubed filled meat-pate snacks and anything I was eating too.
She is Beautiful!! From Head to Paw....Her Gorgeous Eyes are Mesmerizing....And as a Cat She Ended up Getting What She Wanted....Even a Child Would Not Evoke This Kind of Guilt in a Parent

My cat asks for snacks about 4 times a day. I keep Temptations in a small jar next to my TV recliner chair. He jumps up on my chest and licks the tip of my nose. If that doesn't work, he gently paws my face. Then he resorts to Jedi Mind Tricks: He stares at the jar and says, "These are the treats you want to give me." If he gets a couple he will sit on my chest for a couple of minutes waiting for more. If no more treats come, he just gets up and walks away. Then he calls me a "Big fat stupid head" and threatens to report me at the next Cat Meeting - worse than an HOA meeting I'm told. Oh, when he gets on my chest he says, "Daddy, don't confuse this with love or anything, I just want some treats."
No excuse for this atrocity. The authorities should have been called.
