The fact that this kitty was stepped on at a party, then put in a box because his owner 'couldn't deal with it' is just so heartbreaking. What a wonderful person you are for taking care of this innocent, little soul.
That owner is disgusting. If a person can't take care of an animal forever then never get one. It's that simple.

Yes they do! My kitty would sit there with eyes partially closed, peaceful, calm without any movements. He knew everything going on around him but he tuned everything out as he meditated.
Mike does that too! Particularly in sunshine because he has chronic neumatic lymphs in his body. It definitely helps cheer their mood and some vitD is never bad! @@Lotusheart19

Has it been mentioned here but his name “Azim” means tenacity, perseverance in Turkish. This little fellow and his mother endured so much, they definitely earned the name. Respect and love 😊

My Persian recently became paralyzed out of nowhere. All vets suggested euthanasia to me because she wasn't eating, dragging her legs, pooping on the floor. We refuse, we force fed her, meds after meds. Looked like death... Bought her a wheelchair. Right when I assembled it, she started walking again. Later Eating. Playing. She's a lil fighter! Moral of the story is it may be very hard to dedicate a huge portion of your life for a pet to recover but if blessed, it may pay off. They're like your children. Miracles happen.

keep fighting. I wish you luck. We had many cats, but sadly when they get really ill, it always ended bad. We spend months on wet, operations, medications, forced feeding. But i mostly regret keeping them suffer on false hope. 1 of 5 healed and survived. But your case is different. Different medical issues.

he's so happy when he hears mommy's song that he makes biscuits, squinty love eyes, and falls over. it must've really, REALLY had an extremely intense effect on this little strong-willed baby! it makes me wanna cry seeing that. he really hung onto your voice throughout this whole time, you are so important to him.

A.J., my tomcat at the time, seemed to have an affinity for roger webb & alberici & may. I could play anything else & he ignored it: the three degrees, MFSB, frank mills, etc
But his preference for the prior two easy listening artists was clear. By the 3rd beat of the song, he'd situate himself on the sofa arm, inches from the stereo speaker, & just drift away with the music. What a fellow! I sure miss him 😸❤️💜

Makes me cry when people help disabled animals. I'm disabled and my family hated me for it. My mom tried to get my dad to "Robert Latimer" me. She said that parents should be able to "get rid" of unwanted children since it's their property.

We Turkish people love our cats. My farher loves stray cats and feeds them, he told that her mother loved and fed stray cats, now i feed them and teach my children to love and feed, take care of them. Generation to generation, this is a Turkish tradition. Love and respect to this Turkish lady ❤️🇹🇷

It's so wonderful to hear someone taking care of a helpless animal with lots of hope and livelihood, When my cat was young she had constipation problems, urinary tract infection and a kidney infection, friends and family told me I should put her down but I knew there was hope for her, and I never gave up on her, now 8 years later she's still thriving, I think this cat has helped me more than I've helped her, she helped me get through my cancer, having animals is a wonderful thing.
