Early on in the show, I thought Amethio might consider leaving the Explorers and help the heroes. Now that Gibeon is revealed to be his grandfather, it's gonna be a lot harder to betray them. Also, Amethio mentions his father in this episode, so I wonder who he is and what he's like.
Tbh it seems like his grandfather has just made up a bunch of bs and told Amethio about his father to which he fell for, kinda reminds of how Alain was working with a similar Organisation but had his own intentions in mind, little did he know they were intent on destroying Kalos/the world…
I think Gibeon wants to take control of Terapagos (turn against its sweet nature into evil) & and turn Rakua from paradise to absolute hell..
@@thatgirl9532Well Gibeon mentioned that Rakrium is what he seeks in laqua so if I were to guess I’d say it would either give him immortality, or it’s some kind of rejuvenation
8/10 from me too. Wasn't expecting much from this episode but was glad to be wrong, the reveals with Amethio and Gibeon were crazy! Super excited for the future, i really hope this is set-up that'll be resolved with an Amethio VS Spinel battle, been wanting that for ages now

My theory is that Gibeon used to be Lucius's partner long time ago, but the two had a falling out. Lucius made it to Rakua but Gibeon was left out.
Gibeon wants to settle his beef with Lucius once and for all, which is why he needs to find Rakua, using Eternal Blessing to continuously extend his lifespan until he meets Lucius again.
But if the eternal blessing is from rakua and only Lucius got into rakua, how did gibeon get a piece to extend his life in the first place
It feels Horizons is setting something up with colours. Blue represents Liko, Red represents Roy, Black for the Rayquaza, White for the Zygarde, Yellow for Friede, Violet for Amethio and now this Pink.

@@730Flare Yes, how could I miss it? But it seems so likely that something is going up in the minds of the writers about these colours. They sought to represent something.

This is the most refreshing Pokemon has been in a long long time.
I give it an 8/10! Man, what an episode! The interaction with Anne and our trio was pretty good. This ep didn't really have as much friede as I thought but they totally made up for that with the Explorers, the bombshells they dropped in this episode were crazy! Gibeon's full reveal blew me away, he looks absolutely killer and the fact that he's Amethio's Grandfather has me even more excited for what's to come especially in regards to this family!

Actually, that Taikaiden (or Kilowattrel) edit took place in the previous ep, both in the op and the ending. Tebrim's (Hattrem's edit) was the new one in this Friday's episode.
I really hope Gibbeon has an Hisuian Zoroark! It would fit him so well! Horizons is cooking!
Maybe Gibeon has a Pokemon to parallel Lucius' Six Heroes, with Hisuian Zoroark meant to parallel Kleavor.
He already had Shiny Zygarde to parallel Shiny Rayquaza.

@@730Flare The best alternative for Arboliva is Scovillain. Although, not a healer, but counterpart it perfectly. Arboliva is calm, but Scovillain is a bit vicious.

Great episode! A lot of pieces are falling into place! I'd like to think that Spinel knew Friede was gonna try and get that Eternal Blessing crystal from Exceed HQ (even by the end of the episode, the Beeheeyem is spying on Friede).
Seeing Master Gibeon is COOL and reaffirms our theory that he and Amethio might have been related and what do ya know? 😂
Seeing Anne hanging out with the others is nice even for how little of a focus this side of the episode got. The suspicion is certainly rising here. Lol
Next week's episode (and the one after) are also looking REALLY nice as well! 8.5/10 for this week!
After watching the episode, I personally still believe Amethio isn’t evil and has other intentions differing to his grandfathers.
What caught my attention is Amethio admitted “he won’t be like his father and will succeed in his grandfather’s mission for him”, there’s obviously dysfunction in that fam…
So, I truly do think his grandfather has lied to him about some things with regards to his father and his actual intentions.
Also, it seems like Gibeon trusts Spinel more than his grandson hence why Amethio doesn’t like/trust Spinel and spied on him like Spinel spied on Friede, Spinel may be one step ahead but Amethio is two steps ahead.
I also believe Gibeon’s true intention is to take over Rakua, control Terapagos (the way he described Terapagos made me think it has a different form, a dangerous one) and afterall Lucius & his Pokémon considered this place “a paradise” and so I bet Gibeon wants to change this place into a hell.
I just watched the episode last night! I don't have much to say, but I would like to mention that Rakurium (Laqurium) as the Eternal Blessing was pretty cool, to say the least! Before the episode aired, I was thinking that the mysterious crystal could be the Rakurium (Laqurium) Gibeon was talking about. Spoiler alert: I was right about it being the Rakurium (Laqurium), or the Eternal Blessing. I'm also amazed at Gibeon's face reveal and the return of Shiny Zygarde, and I like the twist of Gibeon being Amethio's grandfather. I'm impressed by some details of Amethio's family heritage. 🤩
That was so cool, and I can't wait to see more mysteries of Laqua to be solved! 🏝

I think Gibeon looks pretty dope! Was so surprised to see Amethio was his Grandson! 😮 i think he definitely needs more love as a character now that we know his relationship. Wonder why he wants to become immortal and go to Rakua? I also have a team prediction for Gibeon.

i watch the subbed episode and saw anne talking about pokemon league . lets see its maybe to provide another path for liko when she has finished the teropagos adventure ( just like gary guiding ash to multiple regions )
My theory is Gibeon Could be AZ Lysandre ancestor himself and Lucius could be his younger brother like in the Pokémon XY video game and used to be close but the death of his beloved Floette changed all of that he became blinded to bring his beloved Pokémon back from the grave and to seek revenge on the world he betray his brother leave him in rakua and steals enough Rakurium to create the ultimate weapon he then use it to bring his beloved Floette he unleashes it’s full power on Paldea destroying both sides of the conflict it would also cause the creation of area zero the Terastal phenomenon and mega evolution and all the infinity energy fired from the weapon would be responsible for attracting Eternatus to Galar in ancient times like in the game AZ Floette would leave him after seeing what horrors AZ had done after Lucius manages to Rakua he would see what horrors his brother had done he challenged him to a Pokémon battle for the throne of Kalos which Lucius won Lucius would then exile his brother From the Kalos region for his horrible deeds he would then buried the ultimate weapon so it would never be used again
maybe friede can be amethios father as he is on the good side and perfectly fits in the role

Friede and Gibeon didn´t even meet in the episode. Careful what you write in video title unless you clickbait on purpose.
They actually did meet and talk. Gibeon requested Amethio’s presence, that’s when we found out Gibeon is Amethio’s grandfather, Amethio even said he won’t make his grandfather disappointed like his dad, that he isn’t like his father which is so interesting 😅
The episode is literally about Friede and about Gibeon, I dunno what else you want me to call it lmao

Gibeon and Friede probably didn’t meet because they don’t know each other 😅
As for Friede, we found out more about his past where he worked, the leads he got about Terapagos/Rakurium so yeah…
