Hey Tom, I'm a selfish kind of guy and I am glad you left that profession you worked so hard for, these videos are great and I think it's your calling! Thank you for this quality entertainment!
Ok, I was doubting if subscribing or not because of your dubious silliness, then the stories got good and at the end of the video, when you scratched your balls, you've got me man.
Do you think at COS they tell customers about the dead girl in the well? Do they even know? hhhhmmm......I like these dark side video's. Once again you and Eric did a great job!
Me too. I hope that by now the waste of space that killed him is dead. Or gets killed soon. I don’t have any care at all for people that kill people especially kids.
When I first came to the city in late 1980, Etan Patz was all over the headlines. SoHo was a sleepy little hamlet compared to now, so the commenter below probably didn't realize the mother was lulled into thinking, "What could go wrong?"
@@sanjin9665 that was the 70s. Things were way less crazy , and more different, than now. Kids could play after dark without being watched by parents, for example. I did it many times myself in the 80s and never worried and neither did my mother
Hi Tom I'm a new subscriber I love your channel I've never been to NYC but always wanted to go I love your tours I live in upstate new York between Rochester and buffalo
Thanx for ruining my day again! OK it's my fault I wasn't doing what I was tasked to do at work! Fine but these videos are so awesome I won't cave to the pressure anymore. LOL as the kids say...
Excellent yet again. Thought you weren’t gonna get the mandatory ‘lying on a bench’ shot in, but there it was near the end! Ha ha Keep up the good work my man!
New NYC walking tour video from that Tom guy...nice! If you'd have told me a year ago that by Feb 2022 my favorite youtube channel would be some dorky dude walking around nyc spittin' useless facts, sick plugz and flat jokes...well, i'd-a said you crazy! Great stuff, thanks Tom!
I enjoy your videos and stories, and one thing you should know is you can replace Jim Carry for a possibly upcoming remake or sequence of the movie "Mask" if they ever decided to make :D
I was born in 1967 grew up on Spring street between Sullivan and Thompson in the 70’s it was an Italian neighborhood ran by the Genovese family. We also had Portugués people. It was the safest neighborhood to grow up in. After the factory’s would close at 5/6 and you didn’t live in the neighborhood you would get a beating. We had social clubs on every block
Wow,I actually did support work at this store, and now I have an antidote to share with customers should they ask about this large brick well that's located in the Men's department at COS.It's a beautiful design element, BTW!LOL!!
Always informative as ever, maybe it could be balanced with a ‘light side’ version as well. Still planning on hitting the Big Apple in late September and bringing a few of my family and friends from this side of the pond here in England (Brexitland 🤭🇪🇺). Hope to see ya soon 🤗👍🏻😉.
Nieghborhood still has problems. I live at Sullivan and Spring. I have messed up experiences everyday. (Part of the charm). This morning while hanging out at my car during Street cleaning, while chatting with the lady parked behind me doing the same, a paranoid schizophrenic stopped in between us, about 20 feet from either of us and just screamed at us and even jumped up and down enraged. We paused, let him pass, then finished our conversation about parking rules. 2) 6 weeks ago a serial kill shot 2 homeless people within a block of either building I work out of. Within 20 feet of my entrance door, on camera. Its on youtube. Great enighborhood but has its sketchiness intact.
I don’t think you’ve ever mentioned it but the fugue episode of Hannah Upp in 2008 would be an interesting topic to talk about in a “dark side of…” video. Love your presentation of NYC history!
Hey I bumped into a macabre death to put in your next video. Bobby Driscoll (child actor who voiced Peter Pan in the Disney movie) was found at 371 East 10th St. of heart failure and buried on Hart Island in an unmarked grave. Creepy!
Glad to subscribe. You seem to grow on the listener! My son graduated from law school last year. He previously received two degrees in music previously and is a great fiddle player! Can’t make money!
I’m so glad you didn’t say anything dark happened in the old building I’m staying in inn 6th Avenue, although it is very close to the first two murders you talked about. Poor little Etan, so sad to hear about an innocent little child.
This guy’s great I got this when watching German in Venice and this guy is no less wonderful than the German dude in California I hope he gets lots and lots new subscribers like myself
It's not just in big cities. In a quaint NJ suburb an old lady's house burned to the ground. The Only person that called the fire Department lived on the Next Street.
Even though this series is dark, I enjoyed every minute of the video. Also, Tom is halfway to 100K subs. YESSSSSSS🙌🏾‼️
I like how you weave the jokes and weirdness in the video.
Tom, we need some "Sick Plug" T-shirts.
Hey Tom, I'm a selfish kind of guy and I am glad you left that profession you worked so hard for, these videos are great and I think it's your calling! Thank you for this quality entertainment!
As a New Yorker these vids are especially interesting keep ‘em coming
Hi
😁Dark huh?
Same....
Peter Davidson w/ Whoopi Goldberg & Samurai swords 😭😭😭 I can't!
"They're gonna know you're a tourist and they're gonna rob you." 😭😭😭
When you said Dorian, that Red Hand bar & Preppy Murderer was my first thought. I think that poor girl haunts that well. 👻
I love his story delivery.
Your content is superb and incomparable! Thank you.
"That's gotta be a red flag of some kind." Yes! Lol.
Love the encore at the end for the 'sic' good-bye. Tease, geez. About it.
The ball adjustment at the end is classic lol😅 hey im a patrion chill out
I dont understand why you dont have more subscribers. I love your videos. Knowledge with quick wit. Thank you.
Ok, I was doubting if subscribing or not because of your dubious silliness, then the stories got good and at the end of the video, when you scratched your balls, you've got me man.
youre killin it tom! CHANNEL IS GROWING EVERYDAY!
Thanks for another great video Tom! Been missing you. Please don't stay away so long.
amigo Tom, este mes ando binge watching tus videos. tengo un bromance jaja love your sense of humor
Do you think at COS they tell customers about the dead girl in the well? Do they even know? hhhhmmm......I like these dark side video's. Once again you and Eric did a great job!
Thanks for the great well story. First time watching your video and I do enjoy your delivery.
Don't cut your hair Tom, I'm going on 10yrs no hair cut. Thanks for the fun videos
Is your intuition better since no cut?
Love it! As a parent, the stories gave me a cold shiver! But maybe its because the temps here in Michigan are in the single digits!!
Interesting and and quality all the way. Thanks
All that history & atmosphere in one neighborhood. Personally, I’m more comfortable in Astoria, Queens. Flushing Meadows is groovy too.
The Eton Patz story still upsets me, and it's been over 40 years! That poor mother!
It’s her fault though lol. Who lets a 6 year child go alone anywhere? 🤦🏼 it’s just beyond common sense

You gotta do Staten Island man! The conference house, St George Theater, so much History!
You ever seen the documentary Cropsey? One of the most terrifying shows I've ever seen. Took place on Staten Island.
@@matthewobrien4639 Yes! Parents used too tell everyone about him and how he takes away bad kids!

Keep doing more of theses please!!
Great vids.. keep em rolling!

Love the series. Will you be taking us through Coney Island? Some pretty dark stuff there,
Visiting NY later this year, been loving your videos. Great stuff.

They are not useless facts.
Nice to see your channel gaining steam Tom I knew it would keep at it love your content always cheers mate.
Great tour! Eventually need to get to NYC and have you take us to these historical and macabre places.
Yes, get a group of tourists and have him be our tour guide.
@@cynthiatirand3838 Let me know when.

I never expected him to talk about Imette St Guillen.
the murder well at COS is my fave spot in all of NYC. The store workers actually don't mind folks coming downstairs just as long as you're nice
Thanks for posting!! Perfect timing. I love this series
I love how you label your patrons!
My mom (new yorker) *always* called it "Avenue of the Americas", I think the name impressed her
More dark stories about the true New York pls! Thanks for always keeping it light no matter how dark the subject… Keep up the great work!
Totally enjoyed this Tom.
I love the dark side videos.
Me too!
I liked this one, good job! Hard to imagine all the green space in Manhattan
Keep it coming bro, I subscribed. Interesting shit.
I love the humor in every episode and this one was especially special. Very funny and informative, high ratings!
I am not easily amused- but you crack me up. Love true crime (& unboxings) with a splash of dark humor.
Greetings Tom I liked and subbed to your channel good info video(s) 👍👍

I like watching unboxing. Because I know that person is happy they are getting a gift and something they need.
I absolutely love these. I could watch them all day!
A good movie example of Soho's dark side
is the 1985 film "After Hours".

You’re awesome, Tom! And very funny... keep on truckin
I read that book ‘ Duel with the Devil’ too and I’m really glad it’s on your video. Fascinating stuff!
‘Pete Davidson dating Whoopi Goldberg”. Only from Toms mouth 🤣🤣🤣 great video
You’re Buggin with your coat open unless that’s the one 40 degree day NYC has had. It’s Super 🥶!!!! Aaron Burr- please do a Jumel Mansion episode.
Very haunted 👻
Absolutely awesome Tom . Keep on doing what you do so brilliantly 👏.
I love these types of videos. Keep them coming.
What amazes me is how much history we are walking on daily in Manhattan. Must be a lot of spirits roaming through all those streets and buildings. 😱🤣
Tom is great!! So good makes me laugh and I learn a lot
Can’t wait to watch!

Another great one! I've watch a few of your Soho videos...But have you swung by the Ear Inn? I'd love to hear about its history.
I worked Right Across the street...after this occurred. At 65 Sullivan a neighbor was killed by her roommate...about 4 years ago.
