I managed to make the doll n am really happy with her. Thanks so much for the explanation n written pattern as well. My first try at a doll n am very happy.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately, there aren’t any other clothes designed specifically for Molly as there wasn’t a demand for clothing for her. However, I do have video tutorials for other clothing patterns for my other dolls that could be used for Molly if you maintain the same gauge you used for this pattern, with those ones
hen I first started the doll I started with black shoes, then socks to match dress I was making. Went back to skin color until I got to panty line and crocheted in white and made panties. Then I went to the skin color and finished the doll as you did. Thank you so much, just saved a few stitches by changing color as I went.
You're welcome! I received a lot of feedback on this pattern that people wanted underpants and all my subsequent doll patterns do have them built in, similarly to how you did yours. I hope you enjoyed making your doll
Hi thanks for the tutorial. She's a beautiful Molly doll. I'm going to make one for my granddaughter. Again thanks full of tutorial. I would love to see more clothes designs for her. 3/2021
You're welcome. I'm glad you like her. Molly has a few other outfits available now. They are available via my blog theloopylamb.com or my Ravelry and Etsy shops.
I have more clothing patterns for this doll on my blog theloopylamb.com however, you may be interested in this new project that I have starting in January. The clothes for this project should fit the molly doll: ua-cam.com/video/VN0_8H-r5AQ/v-deo.html
I have patterns for two more outfits for Molly but no video tutorials for them. Here are the links to the patterns: www.theloopylamb.com/2020/12/01/amigurumi-doll-clothes-sleepy-time-molly/ www.theloopylamb.com/2020/08/14/crochet-doll-outfit-molly-the-mermaid/
This dress is tailored to this doll. Without making significant alterations to the dress in order to fit the dimension of your doll (i.e. not just height but waist, arms, etc), the only real option is to use a larger hook and heavier weighted yarn, trying the dress on your doll as you work to see if it will be the right size.
This doll was a crochet song done in multiples parts/videos. The arms are made in the next part here: ua-cam.com/video/RT1f2oRiarI/v-deo.htmlsi=mYlUe-Bi3ZNSnbyc
This pattern is free to view on my ad supported blog theloopylamb.com (linked in the description box above) and divided into parts as it was a crochet along. Or you can get all 3 parts of the pattern in one printable document here in my Ravelry shop for a small fee: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/my-dolly-molly
Already lost in just row 2 lol If I work, " 1 sc, 1 sc, then 2 sc, and then repeat that 7 times and work 1 sc in the last 4 stitches," as you say, it does not add up. If you just work the 1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc, to the end you will get 40 sc total in row 2* I haven't completed this tutorial but it's already confusing.
I’m sorry you find it confusing. Row two is this :CH 1 and turn. (SC 2, SCINC) x 10 (40) This pattern is also available as a free pattern on my blog, if you can follow a written pattern. The link is in the description
@@TheLoopyLamb Thank you, it was just the first 2 rows of the tutorial that was off but I managed through it. Thank you for the free pattern and the response.

Thoroughly enjoyed making Molly Dolly. Great instructions. Is there a video for more clothes for Molly?

Did you do more tutorials of dresses for Molly?

What would you recommend for me to be able to make this dress into a 14 inch size?

I made the doll and I can't find the video for the arms
Here is the next video ua-cam.com/video/RT1f2oRiarI/v-deo.html
Beautiful....thank you....
You're welcome 😄

We want a bigger doll
What size are you wanting? This doll can be made larger by using a larger hook and bulkier yarn
