    I just finished. This was my thanksgiving weekend project since we are setting home and practicing social distancing never crochet before, but I did it. Next, just have to figure out how to make her dress. Just love the doll! Thank you for the pattern.

    @love.life.yarn. by Amanda Saladin I was doing great until Row 18. After R18, is it R19 - sc around, R20 - sc with a dec on each side. Then repeat Rows 18-20 until I reach the neck(12sts)?

    I love your doll and thank you for sharing this tutorial. Can I use I Love This Yarn, an acrylic 4 weight from Hobby Lobby? I am okay using a D or E hook with that yarn no problem but i have surplus of I Love This Yarn and two 7 yr.olds asking for this doll.

    oh my gosh... this is too cute.... anyone make multiple dresses for your doll yet? I subscribed a while ago and had planned to make this. i had to get more experience with Amigurumi first. I think I am finally there..just put the yarn on my shopping list....

    😅 help, i'm stuck at this... So, um... What does it mean to "work even in single crochet" in rows 4-11? I'm not a native English speaker, so I don't get it 😅 someone explain plz

      Hi! That just means that you work those rows on the same number of stitches, so just work 8 rows in single crochet without adding or subtracting any stitches. :)

    What kind of yarn is best for dolls? Cotton?

      Cotton is a good choice, but I've seen Morgan made with all kinds of yarn. The yarn I chose is a cotton/bamboo blend and I love the way it turned out.

    How can I make a bigger doll please, like a 20 inches doll

      Hi! It's easy to make her bigger - just use a thicker weight yarn than DK (worsted would probably do it) and go down a couple of hook sizes from the size recommended on the label. I've even seen a very large Morgan made with chunky yarn!

      @@misselanys1219 I can normally get away with one skein! 380 yards. (But you can get two skeins to be safe)

      What size yarn are you using? The yarn I'm using here is a lighter DK yarn. That would definitely affect how large she turns out.

      I don’t know the size but I think my hook is too small for the yarn if I remember. What does work even mean?

      You can, but with a yarn that lightweight you will more than likely see the stuffing. If you want to use a larger hook, you will need to use a heavier yarn (worsted or more).

      I've never tried with cotton balls, but when I first started making crocheted animals and dolls I stuffed them with extra yarn. :)
