many people complain that it is jUsT a bOwL of iNstAnt nOoDlEs but the only instant part of this bowl of noodles is the choice of noodles, everything else is just as good or even better than what you'd get from an everyday ban mian store. agree with you on the chili broth! must try when you're there
This stall became more popular after some Facebook influencer market their stall. To me it is just a hype and over it too. But due to their ungodly opening hours, it is popular with chiongster after cubbing pre COVID days. Anyway, there are better meals to eat in Bukit panjang besides this
$8.50 a bowl is ‘very expensive’. Greg, you make me cry. Meanwhile I just had a steak and chips here for dinner in Adelaide which was so poorly cooked my dog under supervision could barely have done worse, at a local ‘restaurant’ for 3 times the price . It’s a good thing Australia values it’s food ‘so much’ because good knows how much worse it could get without us coloured people contributing to its original British-based ‘cuisine’.
@@Ltwentytwo I agree that there are god Australian restaurants, but I think the hit rate at a SEAsian equivalent price point is way better in Malaysia/ Singapore
This stall used to be much better, standard has drop much that i last ate many years ago. Maybe I should give anther chance. I usually eats at another stall that sells the shredded chicken noodles, Lor Mee.
I cannot understand why anyone would trave and queuel all the way to eat instant noodles with egg and pork. Must be their special pork broth. Will try one day 😂
It's more or less the broth is pretty gd it's basically like ban mian but w instant noodles. It's pretty gd for supper, used to always go there for it hearty bowl, west side other place the broth not so nice
Ban mian or this sorta dishes with egg is always disappointing to see the egg yolk is not intact, worse, fully cooked. They must think of a way to make sure the egg yolk is not fully cooked and not broken.
If u like instant noodles, ok to try but not worth d wait. To me, it’s too normal to say it’s d best, this is like home cooked noodles like ur parents or grannies prepared for u. Moreover it’s too crowded n have to wait long for weekends, d cooking Is also not constant!
would love to watch any food options that you cover ! love the longer videos~ any chance you will do hawker / tze char dinner series?

Oh, lots and lots of sliced red chili and soy sauce is a must have.
I have it quite often as I live only few blocks away but if you ask me. I will not travel just for this 😂
Ah yes. this is good. I usually go to the Yishun one. it's great on rainy weather.
I think its more of a supper/after drinking kind of dish. Its really savoury and hearty, love to drive here after a night of drinking hahah
👀 "drive here after a night of drinking"
Hello @LTA
Should try the dry one
swee la later going down to that area!!!!! what a timing ! love your videos!
Have you tried Ah Huat Mee Hoon Kuey in Yishun?
The one at Yishun is so well received that you had to literally wait for close to an hour to get yours
Did you check whether the prawns are devined?

Thanks for your comments! Where should I go to try in Bukit Panjang?
you missed out the sheng mian. That's the one to die for.
The dumpling noodles at the same coffeeshop is nostalgic old school wanton Mee/dumpling noodles. An absolute must try
Absolutely, their Lor Mee is my Go to. However, those wonderful ladies are getting old. Get it while it last
Lesson learned! Never watch Greg's food videos on an empty stomach! 😣
Your daugther so cute!! sea shell sausage shell on my tummy!!
Tried it once and that is it. You say in your video that stall starts at 2.30am but above it states 2am.

There are a lot of good Australian restaurants around. And of course many lacklustre ones, give those a miss.
