I just found you today, and yep, you've got another subscriber. I always like methods to help save money in the kitchen! I actually made a Japanese style curry last night for dinner, though mine was pricier than yours. I'd been saving some really beautiful beef short ribs specifically for curry and finally made it last night. It's so good and I love that I have enough leftovers to eat for lunch all week long. (One money saving tip that I use all the time is when I am cooking with veggies, like carrots or onions, I save the peels and ends, tuck those into a freezer bag, and then into the freezer. Once that bag is full of vegetable bits, I use it to make stock. If I've got bones, then the veggie bits can go in with bones or they can go into veggie stock. It does take up some extra room in the freezer, but it saves me paying $5 or more for a container of stock!)
Wow Sam!! Production looks great 👍 Been watching since your very first video came up in my recommended years ago 😂 Love your recipes and your focus on sustainable & frugal cooking!
Awesome video Sam! So cinematic. Lovely kitchen/set up too 🤩
Ellie!!! Thank you so much! It’s been a process setting up new home but we are getting there slowly

Hey Gabe. It’s been quite a journey and I’ll keep at it as long as my life allows:)
Love seeing the baby updates. The cutest!!!
Thank you Sam! Great video. I really appreciate you explaining about the "cup size" for Rice Cookers.
It’s such a tricky one. Used to be once you lose your cup you’re stuffed 😂
