Jeslniks personality and confidence is how I was before drugs. The intense stare the "people are intimidated by you" line. The respect to women and the absolute ruthlessness to people who are either dumb or manipulative in a toxic way. Watching this interview has reminded me of alot of things. Thankyou for that.

I loved the insight on what happened with the roast and the shit that can happen between. It sucks that people think they can act a certain way towards a comedian just because of a perceived notion of their act onstage. Much love to Whitney and Jeselnik. ♥️♥️♥️
Jeselnik is the one comic I can watch anytime, anywhere. Not a home run hitter, but the best in total bases and on base percentage with routines full of killer misdirection punchlines. This podcast was awesome. Enjoyed the chemistry they have in discussing the nuts and bolts of standup and roasts. Only criticism is when Whitney asks him a personal question, and then interrupts or rushes his answer to give her view of what his answer should be. Really hope to see a new standup special from AJ sooner than later.
He compliments her, it's a discussion. She compliments him, she's frustrated? He tells her what he likes in dates, its a discussion. She tells him what she likes, shes flirting. Your projections are ridiculous.
Whitney, I realize you did this video months ago. I realize you are unlikely to ever read this comment. But thanks for doing this video. Because I heard things about comedy I didn't expect to hear. I learned things about comedy I didn't know. These were valuable things for me to know. You brought them out from behind the curtain which takes some courage and strength. Insightful and about the business and psychology of comedy and being a comedian. Thanks.
This was actually one of the best personal interviews with Anthony I’ve seen. I went in with low expectations ( simply cause the view count and production quality) but this was very good-for comedy heads, I mean

Great interview, great interviewer-interviewee chemistry!! This was both highly entertaining and very informative. I really enjoyed this, could’ve listened to two more hours of you guys talking
Jeslniks personality and confidence is how I was before drugs. The intense stare the "people are intimidated by you" line. The respect to women and the absolute ruthlessness to people who are either dumb or manipulative in a toxic way. Watching this interview has reminded me of alot of things. Thankyou for that.
reminded you to be sober? 🎉
@@chaoswitch1974 Sober two years now👌
@@timm2824 congratulations!
@@chaoswitch1974Thankyou. Life is less exciting😂
@@timm2824 Awww, don't say that. Though, I suppose it's a trade off for many of us, longevity or "excitement", as you put it. It's still admirable and no simple feet, especially coming from addiction. There's always the bliss that is ignorance, but it's too late for that ;)
Anthony is one of my favorites of all time. Great episode!
I’m mind blown that my favorite comedians are talking and love every minute.
I really loved the podcast. Her level of movement starts to become comedic.
She has to make up for Jeselnik
This podcast gave me so many insights on American comedians. I was watching it and googling everything at the same time. Steven Wright, Greg Geraldo and Bring the Pain documentary. It's taking me forever to watch the whole thing. Thanks, Whitney!
All I needed to hear was Ari sucks. I'm now a fan.
I missed it somehow, when do they tAlk about harry?
@@Kilem 7:01
I get the impression Ari is loosing his mind...
Most of Rogan's friends are slightly humorous, not funny. I'm glad Anthony let it be known about Ari.
S. tom segura is the only funny one
I’m 3 years into comedy and I love this episode. Great information and some good writing tools I wrote 10 jokes while watching this episode. Thanks
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview and didn't want it to end!
I kept thinking I was going I turn it off in like 5 minutes, but I watched the entire thing.
Only this two can get me listening for more than two hours and actually get my attention.
Pls repeat it.
Ps: Whitney was is so into him, like gurl i feel u.
Anthony is intelligent, I love hearing him talk about things.
he’s just so handsome.
These interviews with other comics where Whitney is talking inside baseball with them are the best! Keep it up!
Love this episode Whitney!! Anthony is honestly my favorite comic of all time! It was great to see such a candid conversation with you two incredibly talented comics! Loved hearing the behind scenes stuff as a fan of the roasts. Sorry you guys have to hear these roasts repeated back you by lame fans all the time.
Please ask him back on in the near future! Always a good talk with Anthony.
Very interesting and insightful podcast! 😊
Omg I love both of you I am so excited you are working on something together.
Papeeshka I don’t think he’s funny so I didn’t think I’d enjoy this interview but this was one of my fav podcast guests.
ah fuck get Bryan Callen on here already lmfao
What a great conversation! Two, very smart, comedians. I learned so much about the business of comedy. It was a real eye-opener for me. Thank you!
I wish anyone took me as serious as Anthony Jeselnik takes himself
Nah...confidence doesn't suit you.
Yeah, he's got a really adolescent public persona. Also, he's funny, but not Burr-Louis-Chappelle funny. He's alright, i guess. But he screams insecurity, badly.
@@lucasrodriguezschwarzenber3127 burr's wife has bitched the "funny" out of him
@@monroedoctrine9289
Has she actually, or is he as funny as ever and that's just some shit MRM nerds with awful breath say
@@monroedoctrine9289 and here we have the incel in their natural habitat, the youtube comments. You've never had a healthy relationship with a woman in your life, have you? Probably all started with mommy who forgot to hug you
This might be my favorite podcast of everyone’s everywhere. The comradery between these two is perfect. Two pros who happen to be friends, talking shop, in a smart and cool way. Interesting. AND the Larry King Show joke being on Quibi 🤣
Rip Giraldo most savage roaster 🥃
These are two of my favorite comedians. Great convo/podcast!! 😀
Whitney is so fuckin correct on cancel culture and she’s the first comedian to say it. Getting canceled helps comedians for the most part. And New York comedians are the most guilty of bitching about it
it is really cool to hear this perspective on the roasts. great podcast!
It's pretty rare I watch a podcast in it's entirety w no breaks, funny and fascinating conversation
"Whitney has had more undeserved opportunities than a Native American applying to college"
- Anthony Jeselnik, Trump Roast
A four in a half minute ad at the start?! YESSSSSSSSS 😍🤩🎉👏 I can't get pumped for a pod without some shilling first
The Dark Prince has arrived, bless you all with curses and madness
Best podcast I've seen. Such great insight into comedy. I'm finding myself liking Whitney more and more each time i see her stuff. Respect sister, you're killing it! 💕
Have you seen the tv show "Lucifer"? I just want one episode where Anthony Jeselnik guest stars as Lucifer.
I never listened to Anthony before he did these podcasts this last week but he gets it. He articulated what I felt about free speech comedians for a while. I’m gonna listen to his shit
So glad I found this I love the inside stories about the roasts!
Its so refreshing to hear someone say that they don't like it when people like someone likes them too much or more than the reverse.
Man expertly knocked down her flirting attempts lol

Shes so frustrated it hurts to watch
@@richicamacho7989 omg that one was painful to watch lol. Thanks for showing it
He compliments her, it's a discussion.
Thanks.
Jeselnik is such an artist. Truly an underrated comedian because of the content. Everyone knows that he's a fuckin slaughter house, though lol
One of the most interesting discussions I've heard. Thank you!
The last 45 minutes of this is Anthony trying as low key as possible to turn Whitney down lol
Lmao
Actually I think he was trying to convince her why it would be a bad idea despite the fact they have chemistry.
Are we not gonna talk about that hard edit transition at 1:30:20
This was actually one of the best personal interviews with Anthony I’ve seen. I went in with low expectations ( simply cause the view count and production quality) but this was very good-for comedy heads, I mean
A very intellectual, dope, interesting conversation! Thanks!
Whitney is one of my favorites to hear talk about comedy conceptually. Very cool
Cringed every time she said “you’re handsome!” And he’s basically like “yes. Yes I am” 😂😂😂 love these two tho 😂
