    Great video I like my beer to believe me, but I enjoy watching your videos. They are great. I have a woodstove in my house and I cut up a lot of firewood during the summer. I really enjoy it👍

    I have had 32 bitternut hickory trees that size, uproot in the last 2 years. It causes me a lot of problems because I am old and retired and didn't buy equipment when I was still working. I have to noodle most of it so I can get it on my splitter. I met you at the Hoosier Hysteria. Keep on buckin.

    Good job bucking it up. I would’ve put some blocks or branches under the main log to keep it off the ground

    Nothing better than getting home from a day in the woods and getting to watch another fellow Wood Hound out getting stuff done in the woods!! 👍
    You're gonna end up with a good amount of wood from that find...be interesting to see how that Maple splits. Nice work on the saw case...was wondering where the Lites were hiding....hahahahaha

    Those 290s are under appreciated. I used mine for 9+ years. Then sold it for what I paid. I learned a lot from it, but decided to upgrade to a 261c. All good!

      @@OutsidewithScheib Yeah, once I got a flavor of selling the old, and upgrading to the new, I sold the 5yo ms461 and upgraded to the ms500i.

    Hey Scheibie, The ‘Ol Farm Boss get’n it done!💪🏼 Good job get’n through the compression section. You can tell a lot about a sawyer by the way they handle the more challenging tasks.👍🏼 Popping a wedge in the kerf works pretty slick too. I see somebody encouraging PPE. I went without for years and actually mocked some of my friends for their staunch allegiance to it. I finally broke down and bought chaps and a helmet. I’m generally a soloist in the woods, so I figured it might be wise, however I’d never admit it to my buds! Keep up the good work!
    Blessings All!

      @OutsidewithScheib  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks Surgeon I am normally a soloist also lol can ya tell ha ha I like the challenge of just trying to figure it out most times it works out but there are a few that doesn’t. Thanks for stopping by and the positive encouragement.

      Outside with Scheib :: Another thing, Military Aircraft. They used to fly A-10’s out of our ANG Base here in Battle Creek.☹️
      The only thing cooler than the Beloved Warthog was the F/A 22’s of the Blue Angels when they put on a show.💪🏻. Our shop is right near final approach. Love It!

    Heck, you may as well go ahead and take down the rest of it. With that heart rot, and massive wound, it won't last long. Bet that made you a LOT of firewood!
    I have one that big in my yard, and it's slated for removal, due to it being massively overgrown and having rot- right where all the big limbs come together. One of which hangs right over my house. I asked the tree guys to save me the limbwood- they keep the big stuff to sell for firewood- but that depends on my being home when they come to do it, lol. More than enough 2-6" stuff in that crown to keep me in campfires for years! Most is quite strait, and the windfall pieces I've cut up have split like butter.
    The main trunk is so large, you could use cookies cut from it as kitchen tables! I'd like to do that with one of the huge honey locusts around here. That would make a gorgeous looking coffee table!

    My first time to your channel because of Joe's Premium shout outs. I can tell by the way you handle the saw that you know what you're doing. However, please please please, incorporate some PPE. At least some good gloves and some chaps. We'll work on the eye protection later. ;)

      @OutsidewithScheib  4 роки тому +3

      Daniel thank you for stoping in. I am working on getting some chaps and all the PPE thank you for your concern and for the subscription. Hope I can keep your interest. I will be sure to thank Joe today for the shoutout as I have gotten a few subs from him. Again thank you for you concern and for telling me in a kind way it really means a lot.
