I had an MS290 that someone gave me for a debt they owed me. It was a good saw and I liked it. I hired a 20 yr. old that was supposed to be trained in timber harvesting to help me cut up some downed trees, He put straight gas in it and burned it up. I mainly run Echo saws.
i know Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I love any tricks you can give me.
Good work. It's nice to see someone using a saw that looks like it's been in the woods before. Many of the videos out there show people using a saw that looks like it just came out of the box for the purpose of shooting a video. You also found my least favorite thing about cutting up a tangle like that, there is always a trap somewhere to make you lose your footing. Good catch on that one. Now the real work begins.
Yeah I have been around a saw since I was 6 or 7 still not an expert but I get the job done. Yeah there is always something that trips you up in these situations. Thanks for stopping in.
Damn Scheib, Miller is going to shut down if you keep bucking up 3 trees without a LITE❗ But Buckin Billy Ray Smith would be proud of your technique. Back 40 has the Kioti, but you are the youare the Roadrunner of powersaws❗😁😂🤣👍🏻
King!!! wood will be back don't fret, I'm in the Northeast, I started cutting when I was a Kid back in the middle 50's up the street from where I live there is place called Osbourne's landscape supples they sell about 20 cords a week now and it's Spring. Wood never really dies, You will do well...don't worry !!!
Thanks Jeff lol I don’t need to get that big though ha ha. I manly do it for a hobby and to heat my house but I made a road side stand for backyard fires and what not it did well 2 weekends ago not so much this past weekend but it was cold and snowy no backyard fires I did sell a bin though lol. Thanks for stopping by Jeff.
My goodness there's a lot of wood there! Nice find/score buddy....you just kept bucking, & bucking, & bucking. How far ya got to haul to get it home....gonna be a lot of wood once split down. Time to hydrate after all that cutting! 🍻
There is a lot of good wood around here not may people heat with wood anymore and no ones sells it in my area. I not the king but I do know some people that have land with nice wood on it. Thanks for stopping in bud.
It was beautiful here in Southwestern Pa till later this afternoon we got a quick storm. I’ve been collecting some rounds to split. I like to keep a cord here at the house and a cord at camp. Great video!
I've had an MS290 for ~15yrs. If you do stuff like this once/twice/occasionally a yr, this saw is amazing. Is it as good/quick/light as a "Pro" saw? No. But if you aren't making a living with it (most of us aren't, this saw is plenty strong and reliable for what it is.
Got me all jealous here now... Some Beautiful Oak right there! I haven’t been able to score any premo material in quite some time. Once I get the last of this Ash wrapped up I’ll start Hounding again! Blessings Brother 💪🏼
I was I took the year off last year cause I was out of state for much of the year but I do throw some darts American darts that is none of that cricket stuff lol. This year isn’t looking good with this covid 19 stuff going around.
@@OutsidewithScheib Cool! I'm also in a Dart League, its actually a baseball themed Dart game. The board is 4'x4' and set up like a ball diamond. You throw from 25'. Ours starts up in October, I doubt it happens either.
There is 1 more nice oak in that area I need to get to but it’s so wet in that area right now. Always good to have a nice refreshment. Thanks for stopping in.

Scheib awesome score and great cutting. Stay safe this virus ain't no joke. Gonna be some good splitting
social distancing as much as possible in the woods is the best way to do that though.
@@OutsidewithScheib good deal, I was gonna split some today but it's raining here
Same here think we got well over an inch

Some nice cuts of oak bud,, good thing didnt twist you knee when u went down
yeah that could have been bad but the wood is great and a lot of it
I love cutting chestnut oak. It only grows sporadically here in CT unfortunately, and the places where you usually find it are hard to get to.
Nice score on the wood. Now to get it home. Do you like up the branches?
Yeah I’ll get the smaller branches later any thing 4 inches and above anyway. I wanted to get all the big stuff cut and out of the way.

I see that you are missing something. (Beer)....lol
Can’t drink and drive my friend lol
Took you two and half hours to cut. If you weren’t constantly moving camera it would’ve taken hour.
I cut basically 4 oak and a maple lost the footage of the maple and all the loading footage lol WTF lol
