They are powerful warriors set on combat, they wield powerful swords, master all sorts of weapons and sometimes can work with people... although begrudgingly. Oh and they were contained in sarcophagi which can't hold them for very long; sometimes Abel can break out in hours or minutes or years... same with the Doomslayer. We've only seen one instance of the Doomslayer breaking free... two if you count his offscreen escape in Eternal. Lastly, they got an affinity with animals. Abel herds livestock, Doomslayer has Daisy...
